The Blessing of the Sun

Pour a glass of water, conscious of the life it gives. Just before dawn, go out to meet the sun and seek a blessing from the Spiritual Sun for the day.

Set your glass of water before you and calmly abide, waiting on the Spirit of the Day. When the sun begins to rise, greet the sun with prayer. Imagine that the sun is the Light-Body of the Christos, and the rays of the sun are as angels of blessing-power. Invoke the blessing you seek and imagine it gathered in the water. Then, drinking the water, drink in the blessing of the Spiritual Sun. (Remember to give thanks!)

Remember to be centered, mindful and calm throughout the practice.........awareness will be generated in this way.

This is specifically said to be good for healing, but also for any other form of blessing one might seek.
