“The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.” - Matthew 6:22

“And they do not light a lamp and set it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all those who are in the house.” - Matthew 5:15

According to the tradition the eye being spoken of is not merely the physical eye of the bodily senses, but rather it is connected to the senses of the subtle body and more especially the third eye or the brow star. This is the sixth interior star, one which is attributed to interior sight and prophecy and being able to perceive inner dimensions of the Holy Spirit. In the above verses we are told that our eye needs to be single, and when it is it will fill our subtle body with light. So what does it mean to be single? First of all we need to look into the interior stars and how they are aligned and the dynamic interaction between them. There are 7 interior stars, how ever only 6 are really interiors stars in the subtle body, the 7th star, the crown star is more like an opening or gate at the top of the subtle body rather than a center or vortex interconnection point like the 6 interior stars below it. This being said, the 4th interior star, the heart star works a bit like a reflective surface, so the 3 lower interior stars are reflections of the 3 upper interior stars (above and below the heart star). This would mean that the crown star corresponds with the root star, the brow star with the navel star and the throat star with the solar plexus star.

It might be interesting to note that our subtle body or soul of light works the same in regards to the different levels. Neshamah being the vessel of Hayyah and Yechidah, Nefesh being the vessel of Ruach and Neshamah; Likewise Nefesh being a reflection of Yechidah and Ruach being the reflection of Hayyah. In a fully realized individual, the Nefesh is the actualization and realization of Yechidah in the physical just as Ruach being the actualization of Hayyah. So we could say that the heart star and the 3 upper interior stars just as Neshamah and the inner aspects of Neshamah (Hayyah and Yechidah) are our Divine Image, our Zelem, our Christ-self. The 3 lower interior stars as well as Nefesh and Ruach is that Divine Zelem being actualized in the Entirety. So we could speak of the 3 upper interior stars as the inner tzaddik and the 3 lower the diciple and perhaps we could also call the 3 lower stars the bride and the 3 higher the bridegroom. Their union being in the heart star, speaking something about the mystery of the bridal chamber.

So the brow star is connected with the navel star and our desires and how we direct them. What Adonai Yeshua is speaking about is how to direct our desires with conscious intention, devekut and kavannah. Tools such as the intoning of Divine names and visualization are meant to affect our consciousness as well as fill our minds with one thought, one desire. It is a bit like striking a tuning fork and then oscillate with the tone of that fork, becoming one with the sound. When this thought or desire is directed towards the Divine it uplifts and transforms and our body is full of light. The effect is very tangible, on the most basic level you can feel an electric surge and warmth in your body as well as a “lightness” and a sense of being alert and alive.

The lamp being spoken of I interpret as being the “inner fire” of the serpent fire being uplifted. Thus we gain access to tremendous amounts of desire energy that needs to be directed for the people rather than being hidden away or suppressed. I interpret “in the house” to be both our body but also by extension the world.

Greetings and blessings in the Holy Light of the Messiah!

It seems I overlooked this post of yours dear brother, but noticing it this morning there are some thoughts I’m inclined to share.

First, concerning the aspects of the soul and the interior stars, the nefesh (vital soul) is centered in the navel star, and reaches into the root and solar plexus stars. Our ruach (intelligence) is centered in the heart star, and reaches into the solar plexus and throat stars, and our neshamah is centered in the brow, and reaches into the throat and crown stars. Thus, the three lower interior stars correspond with nefesh and the three upper interior stars correspond with neshamah, and the heart star, which corresponds with ruach, joins nefesh with neshamah; hence, the heart star joins who we are in ourselves with who we are in Christ and God, the True Light.

If our “eye is single,” if our desire and thought is single, and is for God, or Enlightenment alone, and there is no other thought or desire, and the serpent power is uplifted to the brow, in that very instant there will be a radical influx of Holy Light from above, the experience of a Thunderbolt Illumination, and quite literally, it will be as though our whole body-mind is filled with Holy Light, whether spiritual light or Supernal Light, depending upon the influx.

In general, the brow star corresponds with influxes of spiritual light, and with higher gradations of mental consciousness, higher mind, illumined mind, intuitive mind, reaching into states of cosmic consciousness and the overmind, the peak of mental consciousness. In the present human condition, the experience of cosmic consciousness and the overmind is a very lofty and significant spiritual realization, and corresponds with a profound illumination in Christ; very much so!

There is, however, the possibility of an experience of Christ Consciousness beyond that of cosmic consciousness; hence, the experience of Supernal or Supramental Consciousness. In general, the crown star corresponds with influxes of Supernal Light, and with gradations of Supernal or Supramental Consciousness, and with the experience of conscious unification with Christ and God, or the realization of the Divine I Am.

If thought and desire are brought into cessation, and the serpent is uplifted to the crown and brought into repose, a full influx of Supernal Light may occur, and the full breakthrough into Supernal or Supramental Consciousness – true Christ Consciousness.

The experience of the Supernal Light and Supernal Consciousness are not as far removed from us as they might seem, however, but rather, abiding in the Sanctuary of Grace, so we receive our anointing with Supernal Light, and long before the experience of Supernal Realization, or full reintegration with the Supernal Light, we may have experiences of the Supernal Light and Supernal Consciousness; certainly so!

Ours is a Union of Grace, and everything is accomplished by Divine Grace, and therefore, entering into the Sanctuary of Grace – Anointed Community- from the very outset when we are received, so we receive an Anointing with Supernal Light, and in secret the Supernal Light, the true Christ-Spirit, is moving with, in and through us, laboring for our full reintegration with the Light Continuum, Yeshua, Yahweh. In this Union of Grace, receiving our Anointing with Supernal Light, so we experience influxes of spiritual light, and Supernal Light, and it is through these influxes of the Holy Light that the serpent power is awakened, uplifted and redeemed in us. We do not practice in such a way so as to force the awakening of the serpent power, but rather, we go within and live within, open to the Holy Light from above, and receiving the Holy Light we labor to co-create the conditions in which the Holy Light, Divine Grace, awakens and uplifts the serpent power in us; hence, we let the Holy Light, or Christ-Spirit, awaken and uplift the serpent power.

The Holy Light from above is the Mother’s Force, and is the Bridegroom (Holy Child), and the serpent power is the Holy Bride; the Savior descends to uplift and redeem the Holy Bride, and to restore her to her former glory, and to establish her in even greater glory and power, the Holy Bride becoming the Holy Mother through her union with the Bridegroom.

As we know, there is a white father seed and red mother seed, and these correspond with the descending and ascending force of the serpent power; in our Union of Grace, the fierce and hot ascending force is tempered, sublimated, and led in ascent by the peaceful and cooling descending force – this descending force and ascending force in us also correspond with the Bridegroom and Bride, respectively.

On a certain level, we may say that the Bridegroom corresponds with the upper interior stars and the Holy Bride corresponds with the lower interior stars, and there is some truth in this according to their attributes. Yet, what’s represented by the Bridegroom is to be brought down through all of the interior stars, and what’s represented by the Holy Bride is to be uplifted through all of the interior stars, and it is through this that there is the full generation of the Body of Light, or the Solar Body of the Resurrection.

The heart star is, indeed, the central point of union of the Bridegroom and Bride, the principle “bridal chamber.” Yet, it is also true that there is a union of the Bridegroom and Bride in each interior star, which corresponds with the full actualization and realization of the corresponding manifestation of the consciousness-force of our being, our soul.

There are three interior stars that are significant points of focus for the uplifting and redemption of the serpent power, and our spiritual realization in Christ, the heart, brow and crown. Likewise, and joined with this, there are three significant points of focus of the Holy Light and Fire for the embodiment of the Christ-Spirit and Light Transmission, the brow, heart and navel.

Ours is a Union of Grace, and so we find that when we pray, meditate or engage in sacred ceremony with full faith and devotion, these various movements of the Holy Light and serpent power happen naturally and spontaneously; essentially, if we pray with full kavvanah-concentration and devekut-cleaving, and we hold a conscious intention, the indwelling Christ and Holy Spirit will manifest that intention, and God and the angels will answer our prayers.

In this play of awakening, uplifting and redeeming the serpent power we also have the spiritual assistance of tzaddikim and maggidim, or “saints and angels,” engaging in Light Transmission. In fact, in moments of Light Transmission, or the experience of blessings and empowerments from tzaddikim and maggidim, we are experiencing influxes of the Holy Light from above, and the awakening and uplifting of the serpent power corresponding with the blessing or empowerment we are receiving – this is the very Divine Power that tzaddikim and maggidim are moving in Light Transmission, or when they impart blessings and empowerments, and so also in the working of healings and wonders.

Here we may say, in our awakening the root is in the crown and the crown is in the root, and they are united as one Living Presence and Power in the Heart; the Christ, the Divine I Am, becomes seated in the heart, and our person and life becomes the vehicle of that Divine Presence and Power – a merkavah, chariot, of Christ, the Anointed. Hallelu Yah! Praise the Lord!

This, perhaps, illuminates contemplations concerning these two passages from the Gospel of St. Matthew. Quite literally, receiving your Anointing, and abiding in the Sanctuary of Grace – Supernal Grace, you are filled with the Holy Light and you are the “light of the world,” just as Adonai Yeshua taught; very much so!

In closing we can share an open secret. The Holy Light corresponds with your neshamah, and letting your light shine corresponds with the embodiment of your neshamah joined with the Christ-Spirit.

These are some thoughts that arose while contemplating your post from some time ago; I pray that they are useful to you today.

May many receive their anointing today, and may the serpent power be uplifted and redeemed in them. Amen.
