Yohanan and the Fifty Gates of Understanding

#1 Postby Martina » Sun Apr 23, 2017 3:41 am

Greetings in the Light of the Holy One!

I give praise and thanks for the teachings about Yohanan. They fill the mind and heart with joy and light.

It has been shared here that Yohanan was a chariot of the Sefirah Binah - God's Understanding. It seems that he must have had a deep knowledge of the Fifty Gates of Understanding.

Tau Malachi wrote about the Fifty Gates of Understanding:

"The final gate corresponds with the Risen and Ascended Messiah abiding in conscious unification with the Infinite, and full reintegration with the Infinite Light.

These are the Fifty Gates of Understanding as known in Supernal Realization and through revelations of the Holy Spirit; contemplation of them, and praying for revelation of them, can lead to insights into deep mysteries of the Work of Creation and Work of Salvation (Ma’aseh Yeshua).

In closing we can share that it is through the Fifty Gates of Understanding, and specifically through the Fiftieth Gate, that the full knowledge and power of the Thirty-Two Paths of Wisdom is acquired, and likewise the understanding of aliyat neshamah, mystical ascents of the soul to sojourn them."

Did his knowledge of the Fifty Gates of Understanding help Yohanan to know and understand the mission of the Messiah? It is said that Yohanan also had the power of aliyat neshamah and it seems that he attained something of the understanding of the Fiftieth Gate as well, but only the Messiah attained it in full.

Shabbat Shalom,

in gratitude,

Tau Malachi

I guess so. I'm sure there is much that could be said about this.

I'm very occupied with recording the body teachings of our oral tradition of Yohanan at present; until that's accomplished I'm not inclined to the work of commenting upon those teachings, on a body of teachings I've just begun and that, as yet, is incomplete. I need time to continue to record the oral tradition.
