The Power of Tzaddikim to Judge Angels

The Power of Tzaddikim to Judge Angels

“Do you not know that we are to judge angels - to say nothing of ordinary matters?” (1 Corinthians 6:3)

In the passage that this verse appears St. Paul is teaching the community that apostles, tzaddikim, may judge in mundane matters among members of the assembly and that there is no need to resort to a secular court of law to settle disputes among the faithful and elect, but in the midst of his teaching he speaks of a deep mystery, the capacity of anointed tzaddikim to judge angels, and we may consider this and what it means.

You may recall that when the Risen Messiah appears in the upper room and imparts the Holy Spirit to his disciples, ordaining them as apostles, anointed tzaddikim, he empowers them with Mercy (Hesed) and Judgement (Din, Gevurah), the power to release and retain sin, or negative karma. This power of Mercy and Judgment is given to them on earth, or in this world, and in heaven, or the world-to-come. Thus, they are given the power to judge spirits and souls on earth and angels in the heavens.

Something of this power of elders is reflected in the vision of the Apocalypse and the appearance of the great elders crowned and enthroned in the palace of the Messiah; crowns and thrones imply rulership and dominion, or the power of Mercy and Judgment.

You may recall the story of Enoch, who was taken up into the heavens in divine rapture, and who according to tradition was translated into the archangel Metatron, set over the seven heavens and set above all of the angels of God, even above orders of supernal angels of great holiness, glory and power. If Enoch was set above the angels of God, but Enoch was not the Messiah, what of the Messiah and anointed souls in whom the Shekinah of the Messiah dwells and is embodied? Indeed, we are destined to stand among the angels of God before the Throne of Glory as their siblings, and yet more we are destined to be exalted beyond them and given the power of judgment over them. This assumes, though, that we engage in the work of salvation and labor for a full self-realization in the Messiah, that we might embody the Spirit of God (Ruach Elohim) in full as our Elder Brother, Adonai Yeshua did, and embody Messianic Consciousness - God Consciousness. Then, truly, a human soul transcends the angels of God and the seven heavens, and is established in the eighth heaven - the Supernal Abode, the palace of the Messiah; such a soul becomes supernal and divine, and abides in conscious union with the Messiah in Yahweh Elohim, Shaddai (Lord God, the Almighty). Therefore they bear the power of Shaddai, the Almighty, through the Spirit of God.

Understand, while the outer aspects of our soul are, in effect, below the angels of heaven, the inner aspects of our soul extend into the Infinite One beyond them; God and Godhead indwells the inmost aspect of our soul, and it is an emanation of the Holy Light and Spirit of the Infinite, and it is so holy that only God and Godhead can enter it, not even the greatest among the supernal angels can enter it. If and when this inmost aspect of our soul, our divine spark or unique essence, is realized, and something of it is embodied, we bear a greater power and authority in the kingdom of heaven than the angels.

Now it might seem odd that supernal angels would be judged, or that angels of the heavens and celestial spheres would be judged, but remember that judgement is the proclamation of righteousness as well as wickedness, good as well as evil, and when righteousness is proclaimed, when goodness is proclaimed, when there is praise and thanks to God for beauty and holiness in creation - heaven and earth, God is glorified and God is exalted, and what is righteous and good is uplifted to God and sealed in God.

Understand, however, that all angels are not of God, but there are angels of the archons and angels of Satan, the Adversary, and these are to enter into the judgment in the end-of-days, just as all living spirits and souls in the entirety.

Perhaps you may recall that all spiritual forces are subject to the Risen Messiah, and in the Blessed Name, when the Messiah indwells us, so all spiritual forces become subject to us; hence, the power to judge angels, greater and lesser divinities, and all manner of spiritual beings and forces. If and when Supernal or Messianic Consciousness dawns the truth of all things is known and nothing is hidden, likewise the Holy Spirit reveals that truth of all things, therefore there is righteous judgment among anointed tzaddikim.

The power of Mercy (Hesed) and Judgment (Gevurah) acts through Victory (Netzach) and Glory (Hod), which are also called Dominion and Submission, and the power to judge angels is the power to pacify, enrich, subjugate or destroy spiritual forces, and in this it is the power to uplift spiritual forces in return to God. As we know, the Gospel of Truth and Messiah is not revealed and given to human beings alone, but it is revealed and given to all creatures, all living spirits and souls, and as much as an earthly ministry there is also a heavenly ministry in the Risen Messiah, as well as a ministry in the realms of archons and demons. Thus, with the coming of the Messiah on earth, the Messiah is also revealed and received in the heavens, and in realms and worlds of inner dimensions, spiritual and astral, and as humanity receives the Messiah so also angels of creation, greater and lesser divinities, and all manner of spiritual beings and forces receive the Messiah - salvation. The power to judge angels corresponds with the power to proclaim the Gospel and impart the anointing to all manner of spiritual beings and forces, and to establish them in the kingdom of heaven, the world-to-come.

Concerning Judgment we must always remember that it emanates from Mercy and that, ultimately, the intention of the Holy One in Judgment is Mercy and Compassion; with the power of Judgment is the power of Mercy, the power to mitigate and suspend judgment, and to forgive. Likewise, the power to judge is the power to impart measured blessings, blessings that creatures are able to receive, blessings that are useful and good for them.

If and when we encounter a holy tzaddik and we draw near to them, if we are open and sensitive to the Shekinah of Messiah with them - the Living Presence with them, we soon discover that they have the “ear of heaven,” which is to say that their prayers are powerful and are swiftly answered, and we will find that they are given the power and authority to direct and move angelic forces, and the power to diminish, bind and banish the influence of unclean and evil spirits - archons and demons; hence, the power to “judge angels.”

Living spirits and soul in the gilgulim - cycles of reincarnation, are bound up in a karmic web of spiritual forces, archonic and demonic, and therefore to bring salvation, to enlighten and liberate spirits and souls from their bondage, requires the power to overcome and subjugate spiritual forces - the power of Judgment, joined with the power of Mercy; hence, a full array of skillful means in Compassion (Rehamim, Tiferet).

May you be blessed to abide in the good company of the Holy Shekinah - the great luminous assembly of the spirits of tzaddikim and maggidim, or “saints and angels,” and enjoy communion with them in the Holy Spirit! Amen.

Shalom Aleichem!

Greetings in the Light of the Messiah!

Praise be to the Holy One for this beautiful and uplifting teaching!

“The power of Mercy (Hesed) and Judgment (Gevurah) acts through Victory (Netzach) and Glory (Hod), which are also called Dominion and Submission, and the power to judge angels is the power to pacify, enrich, subjugate or destroy spiritual forces, and in this it is the power to uplift spiritual forces in return to God. The power to judge angels corresponds with the power to proclaim the Gospel and impart the anointing to all manner of spiritual beings and forces, and to establish them in the kingdom of heaven, the world-to-come.”

After contemplating it this morning,I have a question. The actions of angels are sometimes enigmatic to us. Gabriel comes to mind destroying Sodom and Gemorrah. You wrote in “Gnosis of the Cosmic Christ” that their motivations are often otherworldly. How do we best preach the Gospel to them?

Gratefully,

Grace and peace to you in Hayyah Yeshua!

First, archangels such as Gabriel, Michael, Rafael and Oriel, and their hosts, are angels in the Messiah, messengers and warriors of the kingdom of heaven and the Gospel. There are many angels that are in the Messiah and that have had knowledge of the Messiah from the outset of creation, and there are countless angels of creation that have received the Messiah and Gospel before the appearance of the Messiah in this world, and there are countless angels that have received the Messiah since the appearance of the Messiah in this world; likewise, there are those angels that are supernal and that emanate from the palace of the Messiah - angels of the Order of Melchizedek. All of these are our siblings in the Light Continuum and co-labor with us for the harvest of souls, the return of living spirits and souls to God. These are spiritual forces of the kingdom of heaven, the Light Continuum and Supernal Abode, and these are angels that minister to us and guard us and move with us in the Work of Salvation, and anointed tzaddikim share a deep communion with them, rather like ancient friends, or an enduring enlightened family. To such angels as these we do not need to preach the Gospel, but rather we celebrate the mysteries of the Gospel with them, and share in the love of the Messiah and Holy One with them, and we share in the worship of the Lamb of God and Holy One, and the Work of Salvation with them. When there is an energetic preaching of the Gospel to angels, or various spiritual forces, or we pray for the redemption of creation and the spiritual forces within and behind it, these angels engage in corresponding actions within realms and worlds of the inner dimensions, the heavens, hells and realms in between, bearing the Holy Light and Spirit to angelic beings, greater and lesser divinities, and all manner of spiritual beings and forces.

Joined with this, as we know, among tzaddikim there are those who have a capacity of aliyat neshamah, mystical ascensions of the soul or the transference of consciousness into a body of light, and these may engage in a direct energetic preaching of the Gospel - Light Transmission, with all manner of angelic beings and spirits; and, as perhaps you might imagine, angels that are in the Messiah and that are from God join with the tzaddikim in this heavenly ministry, as well as in their outreach into the archonic realms and hell realms.

It is true, the missions and works of angels, the nature of their existence, their knowledge and power, and ways, are a complete mystery to ordinary human beings, and they are a mystery to many among the faithful; and yet, receiving the Holy Spirit and being taken up by the Holy Spirit, we may acquire knowledge and communion with angels, and through the Holy Spirit we may acquire the wisdom of skillful means in a preaching of the Gospel to spiritual beings and forces that are in need of salvation, or enlightenment and liberation.

First and foremost, of course, we labor to workout our own salvation, our own self-realization in the Messiah, and we labor to progress in the Gospel and live the Gospel, seeking to reintegrate every aspects and level of our soul, our being and consciousness, with the Holy Light and Spirit; and we must understand that this labor to embody the Spirit of God in full is, itself, an energetic preaching of the Gospel, the radiance of the Holy Light shining from within us for all to see and receive, and the Holy Spirit moving with, in and through us illuminating, healing and delivering spirits and souls, and uplifting them in return to God.

Understand, it is not we who accomplish any of this, but rather it is the Messiah and Holy Spirit in us, and the greater our active and dynamic surrender to the Messiah and Holy Spirit, the greater their presence and power moving with, in and through us - the greater their divine action with us.

Understand, if we have faith, and we pray with kavvanah (focused attention) and devekut (cleaving), and we hold a conscious intention, the Spirit of God and angels of God will move accordingly, and our prayers will be answered, our intention will be fulfilled as God wills it; if we will pray, praying the knowledge of the Gospel, and praying that living spirits and souls receive the Gospel, and that angels of creation and various spiritual beings and forces receive the Gospel, many will receive the Gospel, the Holy Light and Spirit, and be uplifted in return to God. There are literally countless spirits and souls, and spiritual beings and forces, in need of salvation, or enlightenment and liberation, and therefore this is an ongoing spiritual labor and process, and we are called and ordained to this Work of Salvation, on earth, in heaven, and in all manner of realms and worlds of the inner dimensions, astral and spiritual.

When you abide in your faith and hold a conscious intention with kavvanah and devekut, and you pray, the Spirit will take up your prays and the Spirit will lead you in what to say and do, all as ordained by God, all as God wills; for your part, do not try to figure out what to do, or try to understand a ministry to angels, or various spiritual beings and forces, but rather let the Spirit lead you and follow in the way of the Spirit, letting the Spirit pray through you and move through you. This is how we preach the Gospel to angelic beings.

As perhaps you might imagine, all of our activities in anointed community directly and indirectly are an energetic preaching of the Gospel to all creatures, visible and invisible, on earth and in the heavens; in this light, just consider the power of remembering and keeping Shabbat in community, and how many spirits and souls are touched by the Spirit through our reception of the Queen of Shabbat!

Shalom Tau Malachi:

I'm fascinated by this contemplation. It runs so many directions in my imagination. I remember your teaching years ago that what is particularly unique about humankind is not only their ability to speak, but span olamot, or universes, in their inmost being. The aspects of our soul mirror the universes. You treated this early in Gnosis of the Cosmic Christ, mirroring introductory teachings on five universes with teachings on the five parts of soul. Because many don't access this deeper knowledge, having no acquaintance with their own multi-dimensionality in Light Transmission, many identify more with limitation than possibility. Those who recognize, even realize what is energetically human literally change, capable of what seems extraordinary or impossible. This is our faith in great characters of the revelation, Old to New Testament. To be more than human is fully human.

To focus upon one among many mysteries you cite, I wish to ask how the famous story of Jacob wrestling with the angel:

When the man saw that he did not prevail against Jacob, he struck him on the hip socket; and Jacob’s hip was put out of joint as he wrestled with him. Then he said, ‘Let me go, for the day is breaking.’ But Jacob said, ‘I will not let you go, unless you bless me.’ So he said to him, ‘What is your name?’ And he said, ‘Jacob.’ Then the man said, ‘You shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with humans, and have prevailed.’ Then Jacob asked him, ‘Please tell me your name.’ But he said, ‘Why is it that you ask my name?’ And there he blessed him. So Jacob called the place Peniel, saying, ‘For I have seen God face to face, and yet my life is preserved’ (Genesis 32:25-30).

Midrashim say many different things about this intricate moment. Jacob is literally striving with an angel. It is a test of what is within him to strive with this being. That Jacob won't let him go while the sun rises feels like an example of judgment of the angel, drawing out what is within the angel as well! Jacob's new name and the destiny of an elect humanity depends upon this climactic moment. Sara is to contend with, persist, exert oneself, persevere with that of El distributed as angels: Israel.

What more does this moment contribute with regard to how humans and maggidim interact and draw each other forth in the will of the Holy One?

Gratefully,

Elder Gideon

Greetings in the Light of the Holy One!

Praise and thanks, Tau Malachi, for these powerful teachings.

“First and foremost, of course, we labor to workout our own salvation, our own self-realization in the Messiah, and we labor to progress in the Gospel and live the Gospel, seeking to reintegrate every aspects and level of our soul, our being and consciousness, with the Holy Light and Spirit; and we must understand that this labor to embody the Spirit of God in full is, itself, an energetic preaching of the Gospel, the radiance of the Holy Light shining from within us for all to see and receive, and the Holy Spirit moving with, in and through us illuminating, healing and delivering spirits and souls, and uplifting them in return to God.”

In the Shabbat discourse from last Sunday it was shared that we need to put God first in our lives and live in complete surrender. The preaching of the Gospel than becomes our spiritual work, living the six essentials and three roots. In this way we are not the doer and the preaching becomes a way of light transmission. Lady Mirya as the perfect disciple seems to have understood this perfectly.

When Jacob wrestles with the angel it seems he offers up his whole life, overcoming the shadow of Esau which he faces in the angel. The Kabbalah says that our healing is the healing of world and this seems to be part of the preaching of the Gospel to angels. Here it was essential for the community of Israel to come into being.

I am grateful for any corrections.

Shabbat Shalom,

Grace and peace to you in Hayyah Yeshua!

The story from the Torah that you cite, dear brother, is an intriguing one, a tzaddik wrestling with an angel and being injured, and yet prevailing; only through the power of Ruach Elohim, the Spirit of God, is it possible to engage and overcome an angelic being, for they posses spiritual knowledge and power, magic powers. As we know, Jacob had the gift of wonderworking from the Spirit of God, and was very skilled in the magical arts, and had been able to overcome Laban, the sorcerer who taught him of the hidden mysteries and powers; with the power of Shaddai he was victorious over Laban and obtained his freedom. Then having departed from Laban he encountered the angel of Esau, and again with the power of Shaddai was victorious. This seems prophetic, given that the soul incarnate as Jacob, or Israel, was the soul destined to be incarnate as Yeshua and be the Messiah, the one who would overcome the angel of death and spirit of the Other Side, vanquishing their dominion.

Look and see! At first this angel is called the “angel of Esau,” indicating an angelic emanation of the spirit of the Other Side; hence, a demon. Then this angel is called Peniel - “face of God,” and is accounted as an angel of the light, an angel of God. In his wrestling with the angel there was a judgment of the angel, a movement of pacification, enrichment, subjugation and destruction of evil, or a radical transformation - a spiritual conversion. If we consider Jacob’s struggle with the angel, and his refusal to let the angel go, he enacted subjugation, but then invoking a blessing from the angel, and inquiring into the name of the angel, Jacob enriched and pacified the angel, and apparently brought about the spiritual conversion of the angel, the demon becoming redeemed and uplifted, restored as an angel of light, an angel of God.

Jacob does not destroy the angel of Esau, but make peace with the angel, and as the angel blesses him, so he blesses the angel, and he and the angel are blessed and uplifted to God together - he who would be the father of the people of God, and he who would be their Redeemer, the Messiah. As soon as the angel of Esau relented, and was subjugated - giving a vow, a blessing, Jacob stayed further judgment, and joined mercy with judgment, seeing and calling out the good, the light, that was in the demon, bringing about a spiritual conversion, the angel being restored to the service of the kingdom of heaven and God. Understand, this is the way of the judgment of tzaddikim, their intention is not strict judgment, but rather is mercy, for the intention of God is not strict judgement, but is mercy; and when there is repentance, whether with a human or an angel, or any living spirit or soul, judgment is suspended and mercy is granted, all as God wills it.

Now there is something more to be said of all of this, for the defeat of Laban and the defeat of the angel of Esau, opens the way for the people of God to come into being - Community of Israel, and through the Community of Israel it opens the way for the coming of the Messiah - enlightenment and liberation. The defeat of Laban generated the merit for the defeat of Balaam in the exodus, who was a sorcerer from the line of Laban, and the defeat of the angel of Esau generated the merit for the eventual defeat of the angel of death - Samael.

Understand, to bring about real change in this world, or to bring a greater good into this world, first there must be a shift in the spiritual forces within and behind what appears; hence, a diminishing of the power of archonic and demonic forces, and a binding of those forces, along with an invocation and increase of the powers of heaven, the angels of God. This is also true of the labor for the salvation of souls in this world, for an integral part of facilitating the spiritual conversion of a person is the binding and banishing of klippot they have become connected with; hence, diminishing the power and influence of forces of the Other Side, and in effect, severing cords that might attach the soul of the aspirant to them. Thus, as we labor for the manifestation of the kingdom of heaven in this world, and labor for the harvest of souls, there is an ongoing judgment of angels, pacifying, enriching, subjugating and destroying force of the klippot - angels of archons and angels of Satan, while invoking and increasing the spiritual powers of the kingdom of heaven, the angels of God, the True Light. In the midst of this spiritual labor it is our intention, and our hope and prayer, that spiritual beings and forces might also receive their salvation - enlightenment and liberation, and undergo a spiritual conversion; truly, our intention and prayer is for the salvation of all, the full reintegration of all spirits and souls with the Light of the Infinite.

Understand, living in this world to enact what is good and true - the Gospel, we must overcome the influence, and assaults, of archonic and demonic forces on a daily basis. Their influence largely dominates and drives this world, and specifically unenlightened human societies and the collective consciousness of humankind - herd consciousness; often even religion and the faithful who seek God fall under the dominion of the forces of the Other Side unwittingly, inspired by archonic and demonic forces, while believing their inspiration comes from God. Thus, walking with the Lord, engaging active compassion and love, the labor of the harvest of souls, there is something of an ongoing play of the discernment of spirits, or judgment of angels, and the pacification, enrichment, subjugation and destruction of spiritual forces of wickedness. As we overcome the influence of archonic and demonic forces in our own lives, we serve to bring about the overcoming of them in the world, and we bring about the tikkune of the world - the mending or healing of this good earth.

Humbling ourselves in the presence of the Lord, may we act with boldness in the Spirit of the Lord to overcome the forces of the Other Side! Amen.

Re: The Power of Tzaddikim to Judge Angels

#7 Postby Tau Malachi » Thu Apr 14, 2016 8:44 am

Greetings and blessings in the Holy Name of the Messiah, Yeshua!

There is another teaching about the judgment of angels that I’m inclined to share, one that reminds of the positive and necessary role of Judgment (Gevurah) in creation, and that reflects the action of Mercy (Hesed) through Judgment. As we know, Judgment corresponds with restriction, limitation or measurement - the establishing of boundaries, and it is through Judgment that patterns, structures or forms are created, vessels into which light and life spread and are actualized and realized, or revealed and embodied. Understanding this, to “judge angels” may also be understood as measuring angels, and we may inquire what this means.

To measure an angel implies knowledge of the angel, knowledge that comes through nearness and unification - merging with the angelic presence and power; it implies knowledge of the name, dominion and appearances of the angel, its knowledge and power, and its divine actions, and with this knowledge and understanding, in effect, a holy and enlightened one acquires the spiritual power of the angel and is able to direct that power in service to the kingdom of heaven and the Holy One, moving the powers of the heavens.

Perhaps you may recall an esoteric prayer of the Master in the Gospel of St. Philip, in which he prays, “As you have joined the Perfect Light and Spirit with us, join the images of the angels with us too.” When the images of angels are joined with us, and our soul merges with the angels, so we have the power to “measure them,” and we bear their spiritual powers in the Light Continuum.

Now, as we know, such spiritual powers correspond with blessings, and as we know, generally speaking, supernal blessings, or direct supernal influx, would overwhelm most living spirits and souls; as such, there is a need for measured blessings, so that heavenly blessings can be received and integrated, and not overwhelm. The same is true in the play of Gevurot and Hasidim - judgments and mercies, in skillful means these need to be measured to bring about the mending or healing (tikkune) of creatures and creation, all as God wills. This, too, corresponds with “measuring angels,” the imparting of measured blessings, and measured judgments and mercies.

Put in a most simple fashion, judging angels implies a most intimate spiritual knowledge of angels, and true tzaddikim do indeed have a most intimate knowledge of angels and the heavens in their experience of the Holy Spirit and Mochin Gadlut, enlightenment.

It seemed good to add this to our contemplation of “judging angels.”

Greetings in the Light of the Holy One!

“To measure an angel implies knowledge of the angel, knowledge that comes through nearness and unification - merging with the angelic presence and power; it implies knowledge of the name, dominion and appearances of the angel, its knowledge and power, and its divine actions, and with this knowledge and understanding, in effect, a holy and enlightened one acquires the spiritual power of the angel and is able to direct that power in service to the kingdom of heaven and the Holy One, moving the powers of the heavens.”

I have been contemplating these wonderful teachings. It seems we are not so separate from the angels, but they are around us and they are also in us on the deeper levels of our soul. Do we measure an angel with our Upper Ruach? Is the measuring a process of turning Nefesh Behamit into Nefesh Elokit?

“As you have joined the Perfect Light and Spirit with us, join the images of the angels with us too.” It seems to join the images of the angels with us points to bringing forth something of our Neshamah. Could we say that the measuring of the angels is more a remembrance and that the angels are already know to our Neshamah?

I am grateful for any corrections.

Shabbat Shalom!

I too am greatly appreciating the revelations given here regarding mysteries of Angels, Praise the Mother Spirit for this dance!

The question you are asking Martina in regards to the act of measuring intrigues me as well. On many occasions in continuum there has been a witnessing by companions of Tzaddik joining with the Holy Angels of God. It appears the experience arises in many ways. In some accounts the union is seen as the arising of many, many Holy Beings in the space. In others it is felt and there is an insight of shifts of energy as many, many Holy Beings engage in a coming and going, these shifts of energy that can be noticed, both internally and externally. In some accounts I have heard of a direct knowing of the presence of certain Holy Beings, in which there is an exchange of knowledge, teachings if you will.

The writings here return me to those experiences and return me to contemplations leading to questions from those experiences. In teachings we speak of unifications with the Holy Sefirot, and that these unifications happen through resemblance. Along a similar line of thought, then unifications with the Angels of God must be through resemblance. In order though to come into this resemblance it seems there must be an engagement of purification, a purification that happens in stages. It appears as though the more and more Holy an Angel of God is, the more and more a Tzaddik is arising from inmost Holy places within themselves. Here I am taken to what was written,

"Thus, as we labor for the manifestation of the kingdom of heaven in this world, and labor for the harvest of souls, there is an ongoing judgment of angels, pacifying, enriching, subjugating and destroying force of the klippot - angels of archons and angels of Satan, while invoking and increasing the spiritual powers of the kingdom of heaven, the angels of God, the True Light."

I hear it being said that the ongoing purification through this pacification, enrichment, subjugation and destruction (or transformation), is at the same time an ongoing and deeper unification with the Angels of God. That the very engagement of this purification is a simultaneous engagement of stages upon stages of unification the True Light. I am intrigued then to ask if more may be said of the cycles of this pacification, enrichment, subjugation and destruction, in regards to internal klippot and how when there is a release of that which binds to admixed or dark and hostile forces there is a very natural and simultaneous movement toward this unification with the Angels of God. I hope this question is in line with the topic. Many thanks in advance!

Holy One, may your creation return this day to unification with your Holy Beings!

Shalom,

Grace and peace to you in Hayyah Yeshua!

When we receive the Holy Light and Sprit from above, and the Messiah and Holy Spirit indwell us, the influence of our neshamah (heavenly and supernal soul) enters into this incarnation, and the Holy Spirit (Ruach Ha-Kodesh) merges with our ruach (spirit or intelligence), enlightening our heart and mind, and our ruach and nefesh (vital soul) are joined together, and this is the generation of nefesh elokit (godly soul) - an anointed soul. As we progress in the Gospel, the Way, and we integrate the Holy Light and Spirit, embodying our higher, inner soul and the Spirit in full, our soul is uplifted and exalted in the Messiah beyond the angels, and we bear the knowledge and power to judge, or measure, the angels - angels of God, the True Light, as well as angels of archons and angels of Satan.

Knowledge of the angels is held within the inner aspects of our soul, in neshamah, and in hayyah (life-force, light-power) and yechidah (divine spark, unique essence), and as has been taught yechidah transcends the holiness and glory of the angels, and is so holy that only God and Godhead can indwell it; thus, as the influence of the inner aspects of our soul enters into our incarnation, our person and life, we are able to stand among the angels in the exterior and interior Shekinah - the presence of the Lord, and able to ascend beyond them, experiencing unification with the Messiah in the Most High, the Infinite.

Listen and hear, and understand! Yechidah and hayyah correspond with Adam Kadmon and Atzilut - the primordial and supernal universes, the World of the Sefirot, the Realm of Yichud (unity), and they transcend the matrix of creation, the entirety. Neshamah exists on the threshold, as it were, of the Realm of Yichud and Realm of Perud (separation), and corresponds with Beriyah - the spiritual universe, the world of archangels or great cosmic powers. Ruach corresponds with Yetzirah - the astral universe, the world of angels, and nefesh corresponds with Asiyah - the material universe, and the world of spirits within and behind it. If and when these aspects of our soul are realized and embodied, so the corresponding knowledge and power is in us, and with the gifts of the Spirit we may have the knowledge and power of all of this in the Messiah, and so bear the corresponding divine authority.

As we know, the the distinction between the Holy Sefirot corresponds with restrictions, measures, of the Light and Spirit of the Infinite (Ain Sof), so that from one to another there is a different gradation of presence and power, holiness and glory, and so it is with the archangels and orders of angels associated with them, there is a distinction between them of presence and power, holiness and glory, understanding that the archangels and orders of angels are the manifestation of the Sefirot in Beriyah and Yetzirah, respectively. When a Holy Tzaddik merges with angels, and measures angels, first they unify their soul with the Sefirot - the Names of God, and through the Spirit of God and their soul unified with The Name (Ha-Shem) they are able to commune with angels and merge with them.

In the ascent of the soul, engaging unification with the Holy Sefirot, there is a natural process of purification from internal klippot - a pacification, enrichment, subjugation and destruction of internal klippot, and as they ascend from one grade to another they pass from a lower, exterior grade of holiness and glory to a higher, interior grade of holiness and glory, the Holy Spirit progressively transforming them from one degree of holiness and glory to another, and corresponding with the degree of holiness and glory in which they are established are the angels they are able to merge with and measure, and the knowledge and power they have in their communion.

It is taught that when a Holy Tzaddik intends to give musar, rebuke or correction, to one of their companions or their assembly first they deliver that very musar to themselves, and then to their companion or assembly, and likewise, if a Holy Tzaddik intends to judge or measure angels, first they will engage that judgment or measure with themselves, and then with the angels. If there is to be a judgment of angels of archons, or angels of Satan, then first any corresponding internal klippot must be pacified, enriched, subjugated or destroyed, for only then can there be judgment - pacification, enrichment, subjugation or destruction, of external klippot, the actual forces of the Other Side.

In a similar way, judging angels of God, or measuring angels of God, there must be a corresponding measuring of the presence and power of the Tzaddik and their soul, ascending or descending as is necessary to bring about an alignment and harmonization of their Glory Body and Emanation Body with the angels they are merging with and measuring. Thus, Tzaddikim bring about shifts in the vibration and energy of their soul, their being and consciousness, and in their subtle body - Glory Body and Emanation Body, matching the angels they are entering into communion with, resembling them.

Now, as we also know, when Tzaddikim engage in the sharing of new teachings and revelations they create new angels and new heavens, and likewise, with the generation of the Threefold Body, Anointed Tzaddikim generate pure light realms within the heavens, “measuring the heavens.” Heavens are composed of angels, and therefore measuring angels is measuring the heavens, generating light realms, light palaces, in the heavens as sanctuaries for souls in transition between incarnations. In this we may recall what Adonai Yeshua said to his disciples concerning his ascension into heaven, “I go to prepare a place for you,” and likewise we may recall his promise to return and gather them in; so it is with Anointed Tzaddikim, they prepare places for soul in the heavens, and they gather souls into them, ascending and descending through the heavens, opening the way for souls to be uplifted in the Great Resurrection and Ascension.

When the images of angels are joined with Tzaddikim, this in is the Glory Body and Emanation Body, or the Solar Body of the Resurrection. The nature of this unification of images cannot be easily explained, but remember that while the Glory Body of a Holy Tzaddik appears in the heavens, the entirety of the heavens are within the Body of Glory, and likewise, while an Emanation Body appears in the world, the entire world is in the Body of Emanation; thus the joining of the images of angels is most intimate, exterior and interior at one and the same time, such as cannot be conceived in ordinary mental consciousness.

In closing we can share something more concerning the angels of Archons and angels of Satan. Just as the angels of light - angels of God, have as their substance something of the Light and Spirit of the Infinite, and the corresponding presence and power, and holiness and glory, so archonic angels and demonic angels have as their substance something of Klippah Nogah - the false light and spirit of the Other Side; and they, too, have various grades of false light, and knowledge and power, just as the orders of the angels of God have various grade of the Holy Light, and knowledge and power, but rather than having different degrees of holiness and glory, angels of the Other Side have different degrees of wickedness and darkness, and among demons different degrees of madness.

Here the Holy Spirit calls me to pause again and abide in the presence of the Lord in silence, awaiting an issuance of the Heavenly Voice with the next movement of the Wind of God.

May you abide in the good company of the Holy Shekinah - communion with the “saints and angels”! Amen.

Apportioning

#11 Postby Elder Gideon » Sun Apr 24, 2016 12:08 am

Shabbat Shalom, Tau Malachi:

Now, as we also know, when Tzaddikim engage in the sharing of new teachings and revelations they create new angels and new heavens, and likewise, with the generation of the Threefold Body, Anointed Tzaddikim generate pure light realms within the heavens, “measuring the heavens.” Heavens are composed of angels, and therefore measuring angels is measuring the heavens, generating light realms, light palaces, in the heavens as sanctuaries for souls in transition between incarnations.

To make a mundane comparison, If I have enough money while I'm in a bakery or deli, what I request from the case can be measured or apportioned to me of what is present. Likewise, I'm enjoying a nuance from this discussion of apportioning angels in the context of what is newly revealed by Tzaddikim. While I hear that new heavens are generated by newly inspired teachings, I'm now wondering if what is "new" is simply more of heaven being apportioned, revealed below?

In the prophetic succession, there are key moments in Ezekiel (40:5) and Zechariah (2:2) reaching all the way through the Christ in Revelation (11:1), where either an angel or the prophet is given a measuring rod to measure the holy city or temple. While there are so many layers as to what it means to be given in a visionary dimension a capacity to measure, walk, or 'chalk off' the proportions of the Temple, it's now occurring to me to ask for the first time something I've never heard until your teaching just now: How is what is revealed through maggidim to tzaddikim actually "measured?" In other words, is it a kind of judgment, or measure, that an angel is to show to a mortal a new revelation, all as God wills?

I recognize that humanity and maggidim are symbiotically linked. Where there's sufficient merit generated 'below,' greater revelations may move from above. This is the mutual, symbiotic stirring between above and below, of which the rabbis are constantly speaking in Zohar. If this question is on the mark, what more may be said of the relationship between new revelations as measured and apportioned by angels?

Gratefully,

Elder Gideon

Re: The Power of Tzaddikim to Judge Angels

#12 Postby Tau Malachi » Sat Apr 30, 2016 1:17 pm

Grace and peace to you in the Blessed Name of Messiah Yeshua!

The creation of new angels and new heavens corresponds with the invocation and reception of influxes of the Holy Sefirot, the actualization and realization of something of the infinite potential of their power and glory, and the Holy Light and Spirit that is in them. Understanding the manifestation of the Sefirot through the four Olamot-Universes, when the everflow of the Sefirot of Atzilut enters into Beriyah and Yetzirah it increases the power of the heavens and strengthens the angels that composes them and are in them, and likewise it becomes manifest as new angels and new heavens, which in turn stream spiritual power, blessings and bounty, into Asiyah and this world. Naturally so, for in Beriyah and Yetzirah the spiritual power of the Sefirot manifests as archangels and angels, and as interior and exterior heavens - spiritual and astral, and the spiritual power of the Sefirot is communicated to Asiyah and this world through the angels and heavens, and spirits of righteousness.

As we know, Tzaddikim have the capacity of aliyat neshamah, mystical ascensions of the soul into realms and worlds of the inner dimensions, and the heavens, and great Tzaddikim and perfect Tzaddikim have the ability to ascend into Malkut of Atzilut, the palace of the Messiah, and are able to reach into the Sefirot within and beyond, invoking and receiving direct influx of the Sefirot of Atzilut through Malkut and Yesod unified. Many souls, however, are not able to ascend to such exalted heavenly and supernal spaces, and would not be able to withstand direct influxes, or the full glory and power of the Shekinah of Yahweh Elohim, Shaddai - the Supernal Bride (Kallah); through the angels and heavens, however, many are able to receive something of the everflow of the Sefirot, and likewise many are able to receive through the Tzaddikim running and returning, and their generation of the Threefold Body, specifically the Body of Glory in the heavens, and Body of Emanation on earth, through which we are able to receive new teachings and revelations, and blessings and empowerments - Light Transmission.

In the play of Light Transmission, or the giving of new teachings and revelations, and blessings and empowerments (initiation), angels are virtually always involved, and angels move with Tzaddikim as they engage their spiritual works, and it is the Spirit of God and angels that carry out and accomplish the spiritual movements and works that Tzaddikim set into motion, completing and perfecting them, all as God wills it. The Spirit of God inspires the spiritual works of Tzaddikim and the angels co-labor with them, taking action to fulfill the intentions and prayers of the Tzaddikim.

As we know there is Abundant Mercy, boundless influxes of Supernal Grace and the Sefirot, and there is Simple Mercy, measured blessings, the restriction of influxes from the Sefirot of Atzilut; relatively few souls in this world can receive influxes of the Holy Sefirot without measure, therefore the Tzaddikim manifest many gradations of Light Transmission, and as they impart blessings and empowerments most often they enact Simple Mercy, measuring blessings and empowerments into portions that can be received by many. As we have discussed elsewhere, for the sake of the world, which is dominated by the Other Side, Tzaddikim may even take action through klippot to impart blessings to those unable, or unworthy, to receive them from the angels of God sent from heaven. This measuring of blessings and empowerments - Simple Mercy, is an aspects of judging, or measuring, angels and heavens.

Listen and hear, and understand! The presence and power, the holiness and glory, of direct influxes or everflow of the Sefirot of Atzilut is too great for many souls to endure, and many would be swiftly overwhelmed by it, and it would become to them as Severe Judgment. Thus, there may be the emanation of the spiritual power of an influx of the Sefirot as an archangel, a distinct measurement or restriction of the light and power of the influx, manifest in a grade that more souls among the faithful and elect might receive it. The presence and power, and the holiness and glory of archangels, however, is very great - they correspond with great cosmic forces, and therefore many souls in this world, even among the faithful and elect, would not be able to receive a direct blessing from an archangel. Thus, there is the emanation of orders of angels, or choirs, and from among the angels of an order a lesser angel of one grade or another may emanate as the manifestation of the spiritual power of an influx of the Sefirot and corresponding archangel, the light and power of the influx becoming manifest in a grade that many more souls may receive it. There are many souls, however, that would not be able to receive a blessing directly from an angel of God, the True Light, therefore there may be further restrictions, measures, so that a blessing might become manifest through the world of spirits, or through the spiritual forces of a klippah that has been pacified, enriched or subjugated to the service of the kingdom of heaven, or Continuum of Light Transmission; in such gradations, through impure emanations, many in this world - virtually all, can receive a blessing from God, or some influx of the Sefirot. There is an active, conscious labor among Anointed Tzaddikim to extend blessings, and to preserve and sustain the world in this way, the expression of unconditional love, boundless compassion, and the fulfillment of their prayers that all might be blessed, and that all might experience salvation - eventual enlightenment and liberation.

Now, concerning Tzaddikim and their discovery of wisdom treasures, or the sharing of new teachings and new practices, and new revelations of the kingdom of heaven, the Messiah and Holy One, understand that necessarily each has an allotted portion that is given to them in their lifetime, and this is true of lesser or greater tzaddikim, and even perfect Tzaddikim. On one hand their portion corresponds with the natural limitation, or restriction, of the Emanation Body and incarnation - the duration of their appearance in this world and the form it assumes; on the other hand their portion and sharing of new teachings and practices, and new revelations, along with the enacting of wonders, and the imparting of blessings and empowerments, also depends upon the generation they arise in, the time and place in which they are incarnate, and the condition of the matrix of faith in it, as well as upon their assembly of companions, whether auspicious or inauspicious. With every Tzaddik, however, lesser, greater or perfect, there is a portion of teachings and revelations given to them, just as there is a specific mission and works that are given to them, for which they are sent, all as God wills.

In this, perhaps, we may understand the empowerment of Anointed Tzaddikim with Mercy and Judgment, and understand the very positive dimensions of Judgment and the necessity for it; through Judgment there is the power to measure, restrict or limit the movements of the Holy Light and Spirit, or the everflow of the Holy Sefirot, and this is, in fact, Mercy, for through the power of Judgment blessings flow to all, and all receive what is good for them, all as they desire and are able to receive. Praise God, the Righteous Judge!

These were a few further teachings I was inclined to share today.

May the Holy One bless you and keep you, and may you abide always in the good company of the Holy Shekinah! Amen.

Shalom Aleichem!
