Divine Authority & Power Given to Human Beings

Divine Authority & Power Given to Human Beings

“When the crowds saw it, they were filled with awe, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to human beings” (Matthew 9:8).

This verse appears following the healing of a man who was paralyzed and who was being carried on a stretcher by friends so that he might be healed by Yeshua. When Yeshua saw this action of faith of the man and his friends he was moved with compassion, and in healing the man he say to him, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”

What is remarkable about this verse is that one might expect that it would say that ‘they glorified God, who had given such authority to a human being’ - to Yeshua alone, but instead it indicates this divine authority given to human beings, plural, so many. This expresses a deep intuition and understanding in that moment of power of the coming of the Messiah, the Spirit of the Messiah, the Soul of the Messiah, becoming incarnate in a human being. Indeed, truly so, for becoming embodied in a human being, so in human beings - humanity, that divine authority, or knowledge and power, being given through Adonai Yeshua to all who have faith and turn to God, and who open their hearts and minds to receive it in faith and love.

This divine authority, this knowledge and power of God, is given to us in Yeshua Messiah! Praise God!

As we know, the Spirit of the Messiah, the Soul of the Messiah, came to be embodied in the Magdalene as well, and in the Holy Apostles, and in the entire spiritual community that gathered together in the Blessed Name, receiving the Light Transmission, the communication of the Spirit of Messiah; all who receive and are received, the Messiah and Holy Spirit indwell, and so this divine authority, this knowledge and power of God. Thus, truly, it is given to ‘human beings,’ not just one, but many!

If you have faith in Yeshua Messiah, in the Gospel and God, reborn of water and the Spirit, so this authority, this knowledge and power of God, is in you; but do understand, as with Adonai Yeshua, it is not in you for yourself alone, but for the people and the land - the love of God for the world. So you are called to actively labor with this knowledge and power for people, for all creatures, and to invoke and pray and take up sacred ceremony on behalf of others, especially those who may not be able to do so for themselves as yet. It is given to us to labor for the awakening of souls, the enlightenment of people, and so to bring healing and peace, the love and compassion of God; hence, to stir faith and a turning to God through which souls may be reborn in the Spirit of God and may acquire knowledge of God.

In regards to invocation and prayer, and worship, on behalf of those who are not able we may remember the teaching of Yeshua that the Son of Man was not sent to the righteous, but to sinners, and more so we may remember that he was noted for visiting and receiving those who were outcasts and persecuted in society, those in various way who were disabled and disadvantaged in unenlightened society.

Now we may take notice of the way of healing, the words of healing, Adonai Yeshua spoke, the forgiving of the man’s sins, for this was integral to the awe of the crowds, and the authority, power given by God to human beings that they praised. There is a power of radical forgiveness, radical grace, in Messiah, and as our sins are forgiven and we receive the Holy Light and Spirit of the Messiah, so also this great power of the mercy and compassion of God is in us. As Adonai Yeshua teaches us, receiving forgiveness, the illusion of separation from God being dispelled, so we will forgive others, and in forgiving others their trespasses against us so our forgiveness is sealed and comes to fruition in Messiah.

Forgiveness is integral to healing and peace, and to the enlightenment and liberation of souls, and we may say that in fact it is essential - to be healed and have peace, and so to bring healing and peace, we must forgive, and we are empowered to this in Messiah, in the Spirit of Messiah.

If, indeed, I have been forgiven and set free through the grace and mercy of God Most High, how can I not forgive others and set them free, extending to others the grace and mercy - the boundless love of God, that I’ve receive?

Having received, we must give, for it is in giving that our reception of complete.

These are a few thoughts I was inclined to share.

O Holy One, may all be gathered into You in Messiah - the Anointing! Amen.

Blessings in the Holy Light of Yeshua Messiah!

There is something more I’m inclined to add to this contemplation, something worthy of consideration regarding the power of the Messiah that has come into humanity.

The phrased invoked by Adonai Yeshua for this healing is very interesting if you consider it, for he says, “Take heart, son…”.This suggests in this moment a speaking as the Father, hence father to son, and as such a complete unification of Yeshua, Son of Man, Son of God, with God Most High (El Elyon).

This, of course, is the secret to the true healing way in God, but then so also all wonderworking, and the height of wonders, initiation, light transmission; in movements of healing the healer is in oneness with God, and so God who is the Healer manifests as them, the healing power of God flowing with, in and through them, and manifesting as them in the moment, In oneness God is their seeing, hearing and feeling, their smelling, tasting and touching, their speaking and gesturing, and it is the Holy Light and Spirit of God that heals and make whole.

Also ‘son’ is a term of affection, closeness, nurturance, and this is the healing way, it begins in love and compassion - an opening of the heart to the one in need and holding them in the heart, and in the healing movement, quite literally, on an energetic level, in body of light, the healer merges with the energetic being, subtle body, of the one being healed, and so, if but for an instant, drawing that person into a unification with the Divine Presence, reintegrating mind, heart and body, and soul, with the Divine Presence, Holy Shekinah, Holy Spirit. Thus, healing transpires in the Divine Presence, all as God wills.

This may give further insight into the Spirit of the Messiah, Soul of Messiah, entering into a human being, and so all humanity, all able and willing to receive and be received.

May we know our healing in Messiah, in the body and beyond the body! Amen.

Shalom Aleichem!

This is such a sweet teaching looking into the healing acts of Yeshua.

I'm also reminded of his healing of the woman suffering painful haemorrhages. It always struck me how this was a healing the woman gained through her own faith in God rather than by asking Yeshua himself. He puts no blame on her when she admits to touching him but instead praises her for her own courage and faith. I hear the Father speaking through him when he says; “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.”

May the Spirit move within us to find the healing grace of God.

Blessings to you in the Holy Light of the Messiah, the Anointed of God!

Yes, indeed, ‘daughter’ or ‘son,’ indicate the same truth, a movement of healing in oneness with God Most High. It is interesting, elsewhere in the Gospel of Matthew we find out that it was very common for people touch his garment or ‘press against’ him seeking healing, and according to their faith, through the power of the Almighty in him, they were healed. Understanding that this was not uncommon, his inquiry as to who touched him and the exchange between him and this sister suggests that he intended a further blessing or empowerment for her beyond the healing. One might suspect that there may have been a powerful moment of light transmission between them, elevating her soul to higher grade, or higher stations and states. That’s certainly the feeling I get whenever I read her story.

Here we may point out that most often following healings Yeshua makes one of two statements, either “go your faith has healed you” or “go and sin no more,” or something to that effect. This, of course, suggests that in some cases illness or dis-ease is a product of negative karma, or sin, but that in other cases it is not. Unified with the Divine Presence in a healing movement, merging on an energetic level with another being healed, quite naturally such things are seen, heard and felt, and are known, as well as further tikkunim that might be needed - further mendings of the soul and subtle body, or further actions to be taken for ongoing spiritual realization.
