Something Like Scales

#1 Postby Elder Gideon » Thu Apr 24, 2014 5:07 am

Shalom Tau Malachi!

I've long been very perplexed by this simile, even as a young person attending an outer church, describing the conversion of Saul by what I now know in the inner church to be Light Transmission, the Habad of Messiah:

So Ananias went and entered the house. He laid his hands on Saul and said, ‘Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on your way here, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.’ And immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and his sight was restored. Then he got up and was baptized, and after taking some food, he regained his strength (Act 9:17-18).

Scales falling from one's eyes is rich for many reasons. It's a reptilian simile appearing elsewhere in association with the body of Leviathan. As in the final days of a serpent before its shed, when the outer covering of the eyes grows opaque, brittle, and even irritating before finally slipping off, so is our human condition evolving out of primordial ignorance. Before contact with the Risen Messiah, this teaches that our human condition is one of a serpent unshed; when the Grace of the Holy Spirit moves, one sheds the skin of the mentality of this world and sees as never before what Was-Is-and-Forever-Shall-Be: YHVH.

Why it intrigues me now are for several more reasons. The letters spelling this word qasqeset are astonishing: קַשְׂקֶשֶׂת. This features two qofs and two shins. It even spells Seth at its end! What on earth, heaven, or hell, is going on in such an elaborate word? Like the Name Lillit, Lamed-Yod-Lamed-Yod-Tav, there's a repetition of two sounds anchored by Tav. Where this goes are so many directions. Perhaps it will inspire your insights and illuminations of how the light of the Infinite One is redeemed by the process suggested by its very letters!

Gratefully,

Elder Gideon

Grace and peace to you in Hayyah Yeshua!

According to legend, “the road to Damascus was the haunt of demons,” a journey through very negative and very desolate spaces where unclean and evil spirits dwelled. If we consider what is said to Saul, and what happens, serpent scales falling from his eyes, and then baptism and the reception of the Holy Spirit, first this disciples\ of the apostles exorcised Saul and then he initiated him, imparting the Holy Light and Spirit of the Messiah to him. That the Risen Messiah appeared to him on the road to Damascus, given it was called the “haunt of demons,” reminds of the ministry of the Messiah in the underworld and Gehennom, or hells; and truly, given that Saul was responsible for the murder of an anointed tzaddik, and was filled with anger and hatred, great darkness, intent on the destruction of many pious ones, he was like a hell being living in hell, bound up in great klippot and headed for destruction himself. Quite distinctly, while seeking to serve God, Saul had become the agent of the Satan, the Adversary, and was quite lost.

The story of Saul’s conversion is very intriguing for a number of reasons, first and foremost, though, because it speaks of the klippah of radical religious fundamentalism, in which, in an impure, unenlightened condition, individuals are zealous to serve God, and seek the righteousness of God, but instead of serving God, become bound up in their ego and service the Other Side, and so are deceived into becoming an adversary to the truly faithful and spiritual, or those who are anointed and holy. Likewise, that the Risen Messiah should choose Saul and call him to be ordained and consecrated as an apostle, reveals our God as the Compassionate One, having Great Mercy and forgiving sin, even the darkest evil of anger, hatred, and the persecution and murder of pious and holy people.

Truly, the Holy Light and Spirit of the Messiah can reach straight into the depths of darkness, the deepest pit of hell, and deliver souls that open to receive the Holy Light and Spirit! Praise God, the Merciful One!

Now this word keshkesht, “scales,” is illuminating: Koof-Shin-Koof-Shin-Tau. Let us consider this.

First, understand, that this is the word used in the Kabbalah to designate the 32 Paths of the Other Side, which are called “scales of the serpent,” or “scales of Leviathan” – Destruction; hence, this word indicates the klippot, or archonic and demonic forces.

There are two Koof in this word, joined with two Shin. Koof is the only single, natural letter that has a “tail” going below the base writing line in Hebrew script, and as such indicates spiritual power that feeds unclean and evil spirits, or the Other Side – klippot. Shin is fire, power, and is the principle letter of the Shekinah, and joined with Koof indicates the influxes of the Shekinah made to feed the Other Side, archons and demons. Here, Tau implies Met, “death” and “destruction,” or Strict Judgment, which is the result of ignorance and sin; hence, this word indicates the force of negative karma, or evildoing – wickedness.

Here we may recall the story of Pistis Sophia descending from her abode in the height, deceived by the false light of the demiurge, and the archons assaulting her and stealing her light-power. This is the story of all souls bound up in the ignorance and gilgulim, and the Holy Shekinah, or “Sophia,” who goes into exile with them, and through them, feds archons and demons, the Other Side.

Consider Saul, who sought to serve God, the True Light, and who was very zealous for God, but who was deceived and was serving the Other Side, the demiurge and Satan; he was deceived by a false light below, believing it to be the Light of the Infinite, and therefore he fell into great darkness in ignorance. In one way or another, entering into this world, this is the story of us all, more or less, for this world is dominated by the ignorance and darkness, and there is a great confusion, and conflict, of good and evil, light and darkness, in this world. It is a miracle, a great wonder, that any soul is delivered, or enlightened and liberated. It is only through the Great Mercy and Compassion of God! Thank God!

What happened in the case of St. Paul speaks an open secret, one hidden in plain sight. If and when a soul cannot receive the Light Transmission, there are klippot attached to the soul, angels of archons or demons; and just as an exorcism and healing needed to happen before Saul was baptized and anointed, so it is with many seekers who come to lineages of Light Transmission, seeking to return to God – klippot must first be overcome and removed, or shattered, and the sparks in them must be drawn out and uplifted to God. You see, the Holy Shekinah cannot come to rest upon a person, and the Holy Spirit cannot enter a person, filled with shades and shadows, klippot, for that would defeat her purpose. Thus, first we need to be purified, and shades and shadows need to be removed, and then we can receive our anointing, the Holy Light and Spirit of the Infinite One. This is why, first there is baptism, and then there is chrism, anointing; in some cases, though, before baptism there needs to be an exorcism, banishing unclean and evil spirits, as with Saul.

In this light, consider the story of Mirya of Magdala, from whom at first seven demons were cast out, and then she was baptized and anointed. If this was true of such a great and lofty soul walking in this world, then for how many of us is this also true, that we have become encumbered with klippot, husks of impurity and darkness? The truth is, the greater our capacity for light, the greater our capacity for darkness, so it is not surprising with some souls of higher grades, at the outset of their spiritual journey, we might find them sorely plagued by darkness. Capacity is capacity, and we all begin in ignorance here, more or less.

In this generation, in these times, we often see this with individuals who have been on the spiritual quest and journey for many years, even decades, who have as yet not received the Light Transmission; at the outset of encountering them we see klippot with them, which must first be overcome and removed before the Holy Light and Spirit can be received. Saul of Tarsus, himself, was an example of this in his time, for he had been laboring on the Path of Return for many years, and had many spiritual teachers before encountering the Risen Messiah and being sent to a disciple of the apostles, and first there was a need exorcism and healing, and then his initiation, his reception of the Holy Light and Spirit.

Understand, when souls become bound up in limited, distorted mentalities, or karmic vision, and are self-indentified with name and form, and personal history, bound up in self-grasping and self-will, and desire and fear, their thoughts, speech and actions are not aligned and in harmony with the Sefirot, the Divine Attributes, and they are not open to the Holy Light and Spirit, but rather, through the klippah of the ego, and name and form in the delusion of lack, the illusion of separation, in ignorance they align themselves with the Other Side, and klippot become attached to them, and they cleave to klippot unwittingly. This is the state of keshkesht, “scales,” which is derived from klippah nogah, the “glowing husk” of admixture that generates false, impure lights – the mixing of light with darkness, the confusion of good and evil.

Literally, obstructing mentalities produce something like “scales,” so that we cannot see and hear the truth, or is seeing and hearing anything of the truth it is distorted, corrupted, and becomes mixed with misconception and falsehood, our preconceptions, preconditions and expectations in the unenlightened condition. Thus, truly, when we approach a lineage of Light Transmission and encounter an anointed tzaddik and assembly, there is a need for a spiritual conversion, a radical transformation of our consciousness and mentalities, so that we are able to receive initiation, Light Transmission – the True Anointing (Messiah). At the outset we need to repent, we need to open our heart and mind to the Holy Light and Spirit, and we need to follow our guide, the tzaddik that has been sent to us and given to us, and we need to be willing to our inner work; and if we are sincere and willing to this, and we follow in the Way, so we will receive the Holy Spirit and Light, and undergo a true spiritual conversion, and be reborn from above, from heaven and the Light Continuum (Shin-Tau).

Although Saul, indeed, had a very powerful and lofty mystical experience of the Risen Messiah and the soul within him was awakened, nevertheless he had to go and seek out an anointed tzaddik and assembly, and receive his healing and initiation, and so receive teachings and engage in his inner work; and so he underwent exorcism and healing, and then initiation, and through this his spiritual conversion was complete, and he received a new name, St. Paul, being reborn from above. Praise God!

Look and see! While this word, keshkesht, “scales,” indicates the Other Side and indicates a state of bondage to the Other Side, the unenlightened condition, so within this very word is a teaching of the Path of Return – the way of enlightenment and liberation.

Listen and hear, and understand! The first Koof-Shin, this corresponds with the ignorance and state of bondage, and it corresponds with the first action of seeking initiation, the confession of our ignorance and bondage, and our sin, and repenting, turning away from the darkness towards the light, and returning to God – invoking the Holy Light and Spirit of the Infinite One. The second Koof-Shin, this corresponds with the inner work to overcome and remove klippot, and to draw out an uplift the sparks bound up in them, and likewise, the cultivation of the Divine Attributes, and enacting what is good and true – faith and love. Tau indicates the cessation of klippot, bondage, in the Messiah, and taking up the Holy Cross as a follower of the Way, a full surrender and self-offering to the Messiah and El Elyon, enacting the Great Gesture.

The repetition of Koof-Shin also speaks of another secret mystery, that from the poison and antidote is made, that from the venom of the serpent anti-venom is created; hence, that within any klippot, or any negativity, we may find its opposite, and cultivating that positive quality or virtue, so what binds us will set us free!

The repetition of Koof-Shin teaches us that we must actively co-labor with the Holy Spirit to overcome all klippot, or all barriers, in this way. Such is the Way of Transformation in the Messiah.

There is also another mystery of the Path of Return in this word, for the double Koof-Shin teaches us that we must descend to ascend, and we must be unwoven to be rewoven by the Holy Spirit; the greater our soul’s ascension, the greater our descent will be – to ascend into the heights, we need to descend into the depths, running and returning again and again as we take up a conscious evolution to the Highest of Life, or the Infinite One.

In this regard it is not surprising that great apostles such as the Magdalene and St. Paul descended into such depths of darkness, not in the least; and it may even be said that such holy ones were sent into those depths by the Spirit of God, for descending into those depths of darkness, and being uplifted out of them by the Spirit of God, so they could uplift others with them from those very same depths of darkness, delivering many souls from great sorrow and suffering. Praise God!

This word indicates a great mystery of the Mercy and Compassion of God with holy tzaddikim, and how they are able to descend from their proper grade into lower grades, and even into klippot, and through the power of God, with God’s help, overcome the klippot and uplift souls to a higher grade, returning them to God. Isn’t this the story of the Holy Bride in Babylon, as well as St. Paul and his fall into the evil of religious fundamentalism? Because of their journeys through great darkness they were empowered with greater compassion, and greater wisdom, understanding and knowledge to engage and deliver souls from severe bondage; they were perfect witnesses of the Mercy of God and forgiveness of God, and true enlightenment and liberation in the Messiah.

That the Holy Name of Seth (Shin-Tau) is in this word is lovely; this is an esoteric name for the Messiah, Seth, or the “Son of Adam,” and as we know, all evil is brought into cessation in the Messiah through the Holy Cross – there is victory over the Other Side in the Risen Messiah! Praise the Lord!

If you consider it, the crucifixion, the descent of the Messiah into the underworld and Gehennom, and the resurrection and ascension of Yeshua Messiah, this entire movement is indicated in the word keshkesht, and we may say that it was the Old Serpent that was crucified on the cross, the spirit of the Other Side.

If you are listening and hearing, there is also the implication in this word that, all in a great and supreme mystery, the klippot are integral to the awakening and realization of souls, and the realization of the Messiah – Supernal Consciousness. This becomes clear when we understand that the klippot are not just adverse manifestations of the 32 Paths, or the Sefirot and Netivot, but that the Sefirot of a lower, outer Olam-Universe are klippot to those of a higher, inner Olam, being impure, or admixed, by comparison.

There is, no doubt, much more than can be said concerning these mysteries, but for the moment, for today, this seems to be enough.

May the Lamb of God, Yeshua Messiah, deliver us from all klippah and uplift us in the Great Ascension, and may many living spirits and souls be uplifted with us! Amen.

Yahweh, Yeshua Shalom!

Shalom!

Adoring the revelation of the Holy Spirit in this mystery, Praise be She!

Thank you Elder Gideon for drawing upon this topic, I have very much enjoyed reading the contemplation. Thank you Tau Malachi for all of the beautiful insights shared.
I am stunned by the implications found in this word “Keshkesht”. At this time I am taken up by the cycles of coming into being present within this word and what was spoken:

It stands out that koof and shin equal 400, the value of Tau. In the teachings we hear koof has much to do with the back of the head and our unconscious animalistic past, while shin has much to do with the influx of the presence of the Holy Shekinah. The two of these letters then connected seem to have much to do with a digging into what remains unconscious within us, and a bringing of the light of the Holy Shekinah to these places. These two equal 400, and there is two cycles of 400 in this word, then there is a final cycle of Tau. In these first two cycles which were spoken of as first a recognition and seeking of initiation, and then the second, the engagement of the inner work to work toward what has been recognized, I am seeing two parts, the two parts represented by koof and shin. The final cycle then, spoken of as the “cessation of klippot” and the “taking up of the cross”, seems to be a union of the two parts of the first two cycles. This leads me to ask, in the first two cycles, must there be two parts? The Koof and the Shin, the darkness and the light so to say? Perhaps the unconscious and the conscious? While the final cycle appears to be the fruition of drawing these two together?

Also, not sure if this has any connection with this word, but it came up in thought as I read this exploration. The total value of this word is 1200. The thought of the number 1200 lead me directly to the Revelation of John and this mysterious number that shows up at least two times in the book. The number is 1260, this twelve hundred with the addition of the value of Samech. The number shows up in chapter 12 as the number of years the Woman of Light is nourished in the wilderness. Also, the number shows up in chapter 11 as the number of years the Two Witnesses have the authority to prophesy. This number has always been intriguing to me as the number that connects these two events, and when looking into these events I would ask if we can see a connection with what was mentioned with Saul as well as Our Lady, Magdalene?

Praise be to you, El Elyon, God Most High, who's desire and will drive creation forward every day!

Shalom,
Elder Sarah

Grace and Peace to you in the Messiah!

Indeed, Koof may represent patterns, forms, and Shin the energy moving with, in and through them, and so in this process we may also speak of an evolution of patterns, forms, and the awakening of a greater energy. All of this comes to its culmination, completion, in Tau, the Cross, 400.

400, this is the totality of the Tree of Life manifest through four Olamot-Universes, understanding the each Sefirah contains all ten Sefirot, 40 X 10 = 400.

Consider this. The first Koof-Shin, 400, this is the soul, consciousness, bound up in various constricted states and limited mentalities, klippot, and the second Koof-Shin, this is the soul, consciousness, as consciousness expands and mentalities evolve, the soul, consciousness, joined to the Sefirot. Tau, 400, this is the realization of the Sefirot and the Infinite One inseparable from one another, and the experience of conscious unification with the One through the Sefirot, Messianic Consciousness. First, we are bound up in the unenlightened condition, the ignorance, and then the soul awakens, consciousness ascends, or expands, intelligence increases, and there is the experience of Mochin Gadlut, the enlightenment experience, greater and greater nearness to God. Joined with this, a greater and greater energy, force, awakens in us, and we embody a greater and greater Living Presence and Power; then it may come to pass that we transcend mental, vital and physical consciousness, experiencing supernal or supramental consciousness, or Messianic Consciousness, and oneness with all and with the source of all, the Holy One of Being.

When a soul awakens and becomes realized, sin, negativity, is transformed and uplifted, and all become righteousness, all is reintegrated with the Light Continuum, the Infinite One, and in Messianic Consciousness there is a Non-dual Gnostic Awareness, or Pure Radiant Awareness, light and darkness – all apparent opposites, are known in oneness, unity, and likewise heaven and earth, the Pleroma and Entirety are understood inseparable from one another. In this realization, truly, “God comes down,” God is known in everything and everything is known in God, there is the experience of the Kingdom-Malkut come; this is Tau, the Holy Cross, Shin-Tau (Seth), “Light of the Cross.”

Although Book of Revelation is written in Greek and follows Greek gematria, we may indeed contemplate 1260 as Keshkesht joined with Samek, according to Hebrew gematria, and this is interesting, for Samek indicates the fullness of the Six, or Zer Anpin, which corresponds with the Messiah, and corresponds with this the Supernal Influx embodied with the dawn of Messianic Consciousness. That said, though, Keshkesht, or 1200, as it is alludes to a similar mystery, for as we may recall there are twelve powers of twelve saviors according to esoteric Gospels, and 1200 alludes to the twelve saviors and their twelve powers, twelve configurations of the Sefirot, the Tree of Life, in Supernal Humanity.

Here we may say, the soul or mind that is unenlightened and the soul or mind that is enlightened are one and the same in essence and nature, and yet, while the same in essence and nature the manifestation is very different, and through the unenlightened condition to enlightenment the soul evolves, awakens and becomes actualized and realized, embodied. This is the realization of Adam Ha-Rishon, Supernal Humanity, and it is the awakening of Adam Kadmon, Primordial Enlightened Being. The ignorance, this illusion of separation, of course, is integral to this, for through it there is individuation and the realization of the individual, so that conscious union with all and with the source of all becomes possible; hence, the full embodiment of the Messiah, the soul unified with the Sefirot and Yahweh, the Infinite.

Now, each soul is a unique individual, like no other, and therefore when awakened and realized each is a unique and individual emanation and embodiment of Supernal and Primordial Adam (Humanity), or the Messiah, and in the awakening and realization of each something of creation is made perfect and complete, and something of the Holy Sefirot and Yahweh is realized and embodied, Tikkune of the World of Sefirot, The Name. Each of us is completing and perfecting something of creation, and realizing and embodying something of the Holy Sefirot and Yahweh, and this corresponds with the mission of our heavenly and supernal soul, neshamah. According to the masters of the tradition, within each incarnation there is the possibility of accomplishing this mission with God’s help, through Divine Grace, if we will open to the Holy Light and Spirit from above, the Supernal Influx. This is true in our present incarnation, this very life; and having received our anointing, just like St. Paul, so our soul is awake in us, our consciousness has been transformed and uplifted, and the way is opened for us to fulfill our purpose and mission in this life. Praise God!

Here we may say, the first Koof-Shin, this is the old unenlightened self which is dead and buried, and the second Koof-Shin, this is the new enlightened self raised up with the Messiah, one anointed with the Supernal Light and Spirit of the Almighty (Shaddai), and Tau, this is the fulfillment of our purpose and mission, the perfection and completion we manifest in creation, and what we realize and embody of the Sefirot and Yahweh Elohim. This we see with Saul of Tarsus, who is awakened and transformed through the reception of Light Transmission, and who then comes into being as St. Paul, the anointed tzaddik or holy apostle, taking up his soul’s mission with great zeal, great passion, offering the whole of himself and his life to this purpose until the very end. And we may say that he “does well, and is accepted,” realizing who and what he is in the kingdom of heaven on earth, embodying, living, as who and what he is in the Pleroma of Light, and therefore, St. Paul appears in the World-That-Is-Coming and the Pleroma, standing among the living ones, the immortals, the holy and enlightened ones. He realized that very incarnation was what his soul had been waiting for and seeking through countless lives, his grand opportunity for a full return to God, and he took it! Praise God! May we also, like St. Paul, take advantage of the opportunity given to us, and so also return to God in full, realizing our true purpose and mission in this life! May God help us accomplished this – with God’s help we shall! Praise God!

Within each of us, within our soul, there is the spiritual and supernal power of one of the Twelve Saviors – a unique emanation of it, and in the Messiah we are ordained as co-creators and co-redeemers, completing creation and uplifting creation in return to God, and so we each have our inner work and good works to do, our part of the Great Work, for the salvation of the world, the fulfillment of creation, and we will find that tending to this, this is our joy, our bliss, our true satisfaction and fulfillment. It is this that, at times, we call our True Will, and this is Ratzon Elyon in us, the Will of the Supreme; enacting this, all powers in heaven and on earth move with us, for the Will of the Supreme, the Desire of the Supreme, is manifest as us. This corresponds with the Living Presence and Power we encounter with living tzaddikim manifesting in Mercy, Judgment and Compassion, the full radiant display of Divine Wisdom in skillful means uplifting souls in return to God. Truly, through God’s power, through the force of the Will of the Supreme, this is accomplished; we are not the doer, but the Savior and the Power of the Savior in us is the doer, the Messiah and Holy Spirit.

The Magdalene, St. Paul, any of the holy and enlightened ones we might name, what they have done we are also to do, as they have lived so are we to live, embodying the Spirit of the Messiah in full, dancing with the Shekinah of the Messiah in self-abandon, complete surrender and self-offering. If we do, it will be with us as it was with Enoch, who walked with God and God took him, or with Elijah, whom God took up in a great whirlwind, drawing him in ascension when his purpose and mission, his work was complete.

Perhaps we may say that within Keshkesht is the way of divine rapture!

This is what I can share today.

May the Lord lead us in the Way and uplift us in the Great Ascension! Amen.

Yahweh, Yeshua Shalom!

Shalom Dear Tau and Friends.

Abundant blessings to all in the Light of Kallah Messiah!

I much appreciate the insights that have been gifted to us in this discussion. They have enriched my contemplations. Praise be She who gifts us so!

Can we say, dear Tau, that the first cycle of Koof Shin speaks of the nefesh behamit and the second Koof Shin, the nefesh elokit? And if this is a proper statement, perhaps something could be shared how this relates to the repeating pattern we see in both Lilith and in keshkesht: Lamed Yod Lamed Yod Tau and Koof Shin Koof Shin Tau, respectively?

While reading the revelations above, I am reminded of the teaching: that which binds us is the same as that which redeems us. I would delight in any sharing regarding this, if it is pleasing to Mother.

May all cycles be brought to fruition!

With gratitude,

Sheryl

Grace and peace to you from Yahweh Elohim, Shaddai, and from Yeshua Messiah!

Yes, indeed, Koof-Shin and Koof-Shin may be understood as nefesh behamit and nefesh elokit; the spelling corresponding with both is the same, for it is one and the same nefesh, vital soul, whether unenlightened or enlightened, though as has been said above, these are two very different manifestations of our soul, and our person and life.

Let us consider the difference between these two manifestations of nefesh. Nefesh behamit, the bestial soul, is nefesh as the manifestation of the karmic continuum of the soul, and in effect in this state nefesh is divorced from ruach, our intelligence, and neshamah, our divine nature. The play of the law, and the karma of the soul, is in full swing, and basically speaking, our person and life is the manifestation of our karma – we are karma in this state, or as scripture would say, the “sinner.”

Nefesh behamit is regenerated and is transformed when we join nefesh with our ruach, and so our nefesh become guided by our ruach, our human and divine intelligence, and in this we are able to open and receive the Holy Light and Spirit of the Messiah – the Anointing, and through this the full spiritual conversion of our person and life, or our nefesh, comes to pass. When this happens, as we continue to progress in the Gospel, more and more the influence of our neshamah, our supernal and heavenly soul, enters into our incarnation, and there is greater and greater inspiration and illumination through the Holy Spirit, as well as an increase of spiritual gifts, or powers of the Spirit with us. In this process, through the Holy Spirit, we become mature and complete, lacking nothing; the tikkune of our soul being accomplished – wholeness in the Messiah and El Elyon, the Supreme. Praise the Most High!

Now, all of the spiritual powers of the scales of the serpent, or the scales of Leviathan, is within Lilith – the Malkut of the Other Side; when Lilith is redeemed, so then all of these “scales” are redeemed, uplifted and reintegrated with the Light Continuum, or the Sefirot and Yahweh. In the same way that Keskeset reveals the way of deliverance from the dominion of the klippot, so also does the name of Lilith, Lamed-Yod-Lamed-Yod-Tau.

This name I’ve explain elsewhere, but here we can point to something very specific in the name of Lilith. Yod is the letter corresponding with Malkut, but it is also the letter corresponding with infinite potential as the first letter of the Great Name and first letter of Yichud (Unity). This process of the development and evolution of souls, and the awakening and realization of souls, is the ongoing actualization and realization of the infinite potential of the Sefirot and Yahweh; this entire play of creation, and all that is in it, is the actualization and realization of the Holy One of Being.

On one hand, God does not change in the action of creation, but remains ever the same, changeless, Infinite and Eternal Being; yet, on the other hand, God changes, God evolves, God is being actualized and realized, and embodied, for God is involved in creation, and is manifest as creation, God is everything and everything is in God. This is the truth of Yahweh Elohim, Yahweh, God as transcendent Eternal Being, Elohim, God as the immanent Ever-Becoming without end; the Being, the Becoming, this is Yahweh Elohim, and the awakening, the realization, this is Shaddai – it is all the Holy One, the All-In-All!

I will tell you this. In the ignorance, the delusion of lack, the illusion of separation, the reality of our experience, Malkut and Shekinah, is Lilith unredeemed; but with the growing awareness of oneness, the nearness of God and unification with God, so them Lilith is redeemed, the Holy Shekinah is realized as all that appears and all that transpires, and so Malkut is called Elohim.

This experience of oneness with God, of course, is inseparable from the realization of the oneness of our soul – all aspects awakened, realized and merged together in harmony as one Living Being, inseparable from the Living Presence of God. This reintegration of our soul, with itself and with God, this is Tau at the end of both Keskeset and Lilith – Tau, wholeness, completion, perfection, Self-realization.

Here, perhaps, we may recall that the inmost aspect of our soul, yechidah, the divine spark or unique essence, begins with the letter Yod; as we are uplifted in return to God, so that infinite potential becomes actualized and realized, and embodied – this is Lilith redeemed in us!

Praise Yahweh Elohim, our rock and our redeemer! Amen.

Yahweh Shalom!

Re: Something Like Scales

Greetings and blessings in the Holy Light of the Messiah!

There is something more that can be said of Lilith and Keskeset. It is interesting, as has been said, Koof-Shin equals 400, and Lamed-Yod equals 40; thus, on an energetic level, given this parallel of numbers, 40, 400, the extension of 4, Keskeset is the extension, emanation, of Lilith.

If we contemplate the number four in conjunction with the klippot, this number suggests the four principle klippot arising from klippah nogah, the “glowing husk of admixture,” corresponding with self-cherishing and self-will: the klippah of pride and arrogance; the klippah of fear, anger and hatred; the klippah of greed, lust and perversion; and the klippah of doubt, depression and apathy. These are the klippot of the four yesodot, the fundamental elements of consciousness and creation, and they give rise to the entire array of the klippot, Lilith and Keskeset.

The repetition of letters in both of these key words for klippot, Lamed-Yod twice and Koof-Shin twice, indicates a deep mystery of how klippot, husks, are overcome and the sparks of holiness are drawn out of them. You see, it is not as simple as cutting off the evil-inclination, self-cherishing and self-will, and all that comes with it, but rather the evil inclination must be brought into submission, and be united with the good inclination; hence, the evil inclination and all that comes with it must be brought into the service of the good inclination and the kingdom of heaven. In this way Lilith and Keskeset are transformed and uplifted, and redeemed, understanding that in the Messiah it is the intention of El Elyon, the Supreme, that all living spirits and souls receive salvation, redemption – enlightenment and liberation.

This is hinted at in the name Lilith, which equals four hundred eighty, the number of years from the exodus out of Egypt to the building of the temple in Jerusalem by King Solomon. According to Midrashim, Lilith the younger is the consort of Ashmodai, the king of demons, and when Solomon built the temple through the wisdom and power of God in him he subjugated Ashmodai and the shedim, demons, and invoked them to help build the first temple. Upon first hearing this legend many find it rather wild and curious, and naturally are perplexed at the suggestion that demons helped in the labor to build the holy temple, yet this legend in the Kabbalah and teachings that come from it reveal the wisdom, understanding and knowledge of how klippot are overcome, and how they are uplifted to God through pacification, enrichment, subjugation and transformation. In truth, they cannot just be ignored or cut off, nor can the energy-intelligence in them be destroyed, but rather, in one way or another, they must be reintegrated with the Sefirot and Yahweh, or transformed, uplifted and redeemed.

In this regard, consider the body of the Master in the resurrection and ascension, the very substance of his flesh and blood being transformed, transfigured, into pure spirit, pure energy, pure light, the material body itself, and therefore the material world with it, being transformed, uplifted and redeemed. So it must be with all klippot in the End-Of-Days.

Consider the radical stories of the Magdalene and St. Paul, and their fall and redemption. This, in truth, is the story of us all, as is the story of Adam and Havvah (Eve). Look and see! We all begin in the ignorance, and in ignorance, the illusion of separation, we all begin encumbered by great klippot, and we cling to klippot, or great darkness. There is no ridding ourselves of the sense of self, the ego arising, or the evil inclination, and there is no ignoring or cutting off of the klippot, but rather the ego and evil inclination, and the various klippot that encumber us, must be transformed and reintegrated, and brought into the service of the good inclination, the inner aspects of our soul and the kingdom of heaven – they must be subjugated so that they might help build the Living Temple, the Living Body of the Messiah.

The gospel teaches us that Adonai Yeshua exorcised seven demons from Mirya of Magdala, and according to Midrashim he established seven angels in their place. This, of course, corresponds with the seven interior stars, and the purification and transformation of klippot associated in them, the powers of the seven Sefirot of Construction in the Holy Bride. Thus, in this divine action the seven demons are transformed into seven angels, all aspects or levels of consciousness in the Lady Mirya being purified and transformed, and uplifted in return to God. Then she is baptized and anointed, receiving the Holy Light and Spirit of the Messiah, the Gospel; and ultimately she becomes the Apostle of apostles, the Tower of the Flock – the Magdalene.

In this, perhaps, we may understand the teaching of St. John, as well as other apostles, that we are all sinners, that we have all sinned – we have all been bound up in the ignorance, darkness, and klippot.

Thus he writes, “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us” (1 John 1:8-10).

Our focus, though, is not upon sin, negative karma, and klippot, and the play of self-consciousness and guilt, for that just perpetuates the same old ignorance, the delusion of lack that gives rise to sin, negativity; but rather, confessing sin, klippot, becoming aware, we repent, which is to say we look to see we redirect our thoughts and desires Godward, and seek to bring the evil inclination into the service of the good inclination, and seek to transform and uplift all aspects of our consciousness, our person and life, reintegrating our soul, and our mind, heart and life, with the Holy Light and Spirit of the Infinite One, Yahweh Elohim.

Here we may recall a teaching of the Holy Kabbalah. Assuming that it is possible for a soul to be born righteous and without sin, klippot, according to masters of the tradition an unrighteous person who undergoes a spiritual conversion through the grace of God, and who returns to God and becomes a tzaddik, is more powerful in service to the kingdom of heaven, and brings greater glory to God, than a righteous person who is a tzaddik. Indeed, for they have the most intimate knowledge, understanding and wisdom of how to overcome klippot and how to bring about the tikkunim of souls bound up in klippot, and therefore they are a good teacher and guide for sinners, to those in great bondage and suffering. As Adonai Yeshua teaches, “The physician does not visit and treat those who are well, but rather goes to those who are ill.” The same is true for living tzaddikim, or messengers of God, they do not come for the righteous, but they come to lead many unrighteous in return to God – they come for those in need of healing, mending and redemption.

There is a very important message in this for us to understand, a message of the Great Mercy of God and Divine Grace manifest in the Messiah. You see, regardless of how immersed in the ignorance and klippot we are, or may have been, regardless of whatever sin or negativity we might have engendered, there is always hope for us in the Messiah and El Elyon, the Supreme, and always it is possible for us to return to God and serve God, and to fulfill our true purpose and mission in this life. Yet more, as we hear of all of the wonderful possibilities in the awakening of the soul, and all of the various gradations of spiritual realization, and all of the various spiritual gifts we can receive from the Holy Spirit, we should never doubt that such things are possible for us in this very life, all as God wills and ordains; for with God, through the Spirit of God, all things are possible, and there is no one who cannot experience forgiveness and redemption if they are willing to return to return to God, and willing to engage the inner work and good works of returning.

You see, the salvation that is in Messiah Yeshua is universal – for all living spirits and souls, even for archons and demons; and regardless of our past, or what we may have done, at any moment we can return to God, and open to the Holy Light and Spirit of God, and receive forgiveness and redemption from the Most High.

Truly, the Gospel is “Good News!” Praise God!

Isn’t this the teaching of the redemption of Lilith in the Magdalene?

On this Holy Day of Rest may many receive their redemption and be uplifted in return to God! Amen.

Shabbat Shalom!
