The Father Calling Those Who Have Knowledge

As the contemplations continue unfolding Gospel of Truth, what is said of being aware is directly equated with the Father pronouncing our name. Again, as is very helpfully drawn out by Tau Malachi in other posts in this forum exploring Gospel of Truth, our name is nothing our earthly parents gave us, nor any nickname by which our friends may call us, but is the recognition of one's neshamah: "One who has knowledge is one whose name the father has pronounced." The pronouncement of one's name is the experience of Light Transmission.

As the inmost disciples experienced the pronouncement of their names at Pentecost, so Saul experienced the pronouncement of his name on the road to Damascus. Hashem first changed Abram and Sarai's names to Abraham and Sarah, changing their destiny, their birthchart, the constellation of their Ruach and Nefesh, from a life in sterility to one miraculously conceiving the next lineage holder. Melchizedek appearing to them prior has everything to do with this change later. Hold this thought.

These are events of Gnosis, of Light Transmission. In such events, one's name is called. "If called, that person hears, replies, and turns toward him who called. That person ascends to the Father and knows they are called. Having knowledge, that person does the will of him who called...Those who thus are going to have knowledge know whence they came and whither they are going."

Throughout the Gospel of Truth, events of revelation and disclosure of one's name are often embedded in terms of indescribable familiarity, intimacy, and recognition. "It is a great wonder that they were in the Father without knowing him and that they were able to leave on their own, since they were not able to contain him and know him in whom they were, for indeed his will had not come forth from him."

This portion concludes with what might be one of its loftiest moments of all the Gospel of Truth: "For he revealed it as knowledge with which all its emanations agree, namely, the knowledge of the living book that he revealed to the eternal beings at last as his letters, displaying to them that these are not merely vowels or consonants, so that one may read them and think of something void of meaning. On the contrary, these are letters that convey the truth. They are pronounced only when they are known. Each letter is a perfect truth like a perfect book, for they are letters written by the hand of the unity, since the father wrote them for the eternal beings, so that they by means of his letters might come to know the father."

To access this, one must regard Hebrew letters not as "vowels or consonants", but energy intelligences: primordial, angelic forces by which every layer of reality infinitely small and infinitely large is arrayed, spelling the very structure of existence. Many postmodern rabbis have made elegant analogies of the Hebrew letters to DNA nucleotides. As every life form is some combination of four nucleotides, so every layer of reality is structured by Hebrew letters. Likewise, as the life force transcends all the forms of its expression, so the Father envelops every awareness of every creature within him. Every creature is a gate of experience, constellated by the letters spelling their name.

Here, then is the suggestion that our name, our neshamah, is a constellation of energy-intelligences, formed by the very letters spelling the name of our neshamah. In other words, rather than imagining flat letters on a line, this Gospel invites one to regard the 'letters' of their 'name' much like a constellation of stars in the night sky. Appearing flat only from my perspective on the ground looking up, constellations actually span hundreds, even millions of light years when seen from 'the side'. As constellations actually are a gate, so are we gates, formed by the star-letters of our name, our Neshamah.

Perhaps in this analogy, we may regard the night sky like our ancestors: a perforated blanket. The appearance of the stars of our birth chart are only one layer, beyond which is their glory, further beyond which is a clear light essence without end, shining from behind the punctures of the blanket of space. When the Father, who is this Clear Light Essence, speaks one's neshamah from beyond and behind the appearances of everything, the elect remember themselves as a gate of the Father's grace.

Speak our name, Good Shepherd.
May we find you, the Gate, by whom enter and are saved.

Configurations of Souls

Greetings and blessings in the light of the Messiah!

Yes, indeed, our soul of light is a configuration of divine, primordial energy-intelligences, spiritual powers of the Holy Sefirot and Netivot – the root essences of souls are drawn from various configurations or patterns of Sefirot and Netivot, generating unique and individual souls, beings, with unique and individual knowledge and powers, and there are many and diverse configurations that are possible.

The root essence of our soul of light is drawn, emanates, from the Sefirot and Netivot of Adam Kadmon, the primordial Sefirot and Netivot of the Great Unmanifest – the Sefirot and Netivot that are enshrouded in the depth of mystery, unknowable, unspeakable. Yechidah, our divine spark or unique essence, is this root essence, and it emanates, and is, a specific configuration of the spiritual powers of the primordial Sefirot and Netivot. This configuration of energy-intelligences or spiritual powers rays out, emanates, as hayyah, our life-force or light-power, at the level of Atzilut, the Supernal World, which in turn rays out, emanates, as our holy neshamah, our heavenly soul or divine nature – our holy neshamah being the revelation of this configuration of energy-intelligences or spiritual powers at the level of Beriyah, the world of archangels and great cosmic forces.

Thus, what is concealed in yechidah is revealed in our holy neshamah – receiving our neshamah this root essence is revealed to us so that, recognizing it, we might actualize and realize it, embodying the fullness of our soul, our being, as we are in Christ and God, the Human One of Light and the Light Continuum.

Now, it must be understood that until we are reborn from above, of water and Spirit, this body and life, this name and form, and personal history, is klippah, a husk of darkness or impure emanation, more or less; basically speaking, it is an emanation of the karmic continuum of the soul, and, at best it is a distorted expression of our name and image, or our neshamah. As such, it is not a direct expression of the configuration of energy-intelligences that form our root essence, or rather, if expressing something of that configuration it is partial and distorted, bound up in the ignorance, and in the play of self-grasping, desire and fear. When we are reborn, however, baptized with living water and receiving the Holy Spirit, our nefesh and ruach are purified, and the Holy Spirit begins to transform our nefesh and ruach into the image and likeness of neshamah, reconfiguring our ruach and nefesh according to our true name and form, the configuration of energy-intelligences that forms our root essence, our yechidah.

Though the Holy Spirit there is a renewal of our mind, an opening and illumination of our heart, and so also an illumination of our body, our person and life, Christ and the Holy Spirit taking up our person and life, joining our soul on all levels with God, the True Light. The Holy Spirit cannot do this, however, unless we take up an active and dynamic surrender, co-laboring with her for our full transformation and realization in Christ – when we are called by the Father, our name being pronounced, we must actively follow in the way of the Father, which is Christ, and let the Holy Spirit lead is in the Way, Christ.

Thus, when we are reborn, our true name being pronounced by the Living Father, the Virgin of Light giving birth to Christ in us, we take up the Life Divine, living according to the Holy Gospel.

Our root essence, yechidah, as has been said, is in Adam Kadmon, and our life-force, our light-power, hayyah, is in Atzilut, and our divine nature, our supernal soul, neshamah, is in Beriyah. If ruach and nefesh are transformed, reconfigured, to resemble and express the configuration of our heavenly, supernal soul, then we will draw the spiritual power, influxes, of the Sefirot of Adam Kadmon, Atzilut and Beriyah to us, embodying the Shekinah of the Messiah at progressively higher gradations as we unfold our self-realization in Christ.

As we know and understand, the “Soul of the Messiah,” the emanation of the Human One of Light, is the full presence, glory and power of the realm of yichud, Adam Kadmon and Atzilut, and with the Messiah moves all of the powers of the archangels, orders of angels, celestial spheres and elemental forces, all powers of the great matrix of creation. Receiving the Messiah, in the Holy Spirit we receive all of this, but most especially what we receive is our true name and image, and our gospel – knowledge of our true will, our true action, in the Risen Messiah.

Something of this mystery of our root essence as a configuration of primordial, divine energy-intelligences is taught in the Pistis Sophia, for therein the Risen Messiah teaches the disciples that their souls were put into their mother’s wombs, and with their souls powers of the twelve saviors were also placed into their mother’s wombs. We know that these twelve powers correspond with the twelve emanations of the Human One of Light through the twelve zodiacal gates, or twelve constellations – hence, this indicates various configurations of energy-intelligences forming the root essences of souls.

If we wish to understand ourselves as “gates,” then we may look and see how, when ruach and nefesh are reconfigured, we become channels, vehicles, gates, of primordial and supernal powers, true Divine Powers as we see embodied in Yeshua and Mirya, and the original apostles.

Here we may say, we are meant to be gates of the kingdom of heaven, gates of the Pleroma of Light – fullness of Holy Light.

Abiding in Christ, receiving the Holy Spirit, invoking the Divine Powers they are made manifest on earth, this divine action being a significant part of our labor for the harvest of souls, the salvation of all in the love and compassion of Christ.

There is, no doubt, more that can be said about this, but perhaps for the moment this is enough.

Hearing our true name pronounced, may we be empowered to respond in full and follow in the way of the Living Father, the Light Continuum. Amen.

Evolution in Creation

Greetings and Blessings in the Light of the Messiah!

"Those whose name he knew first were called last, so that the one who has knowledge is he whose name the Father has pronounced."

Recently I contemplated this teaching. For me it resonates very much with the beginning of the Gospel of John (1:1): "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

It seems that the Gospel of Truth here clearly speaks about evolution in creation. Although God communicated his intention before the beginning of creation, the fulfillment of this intention is the last step in evolution. In Adam Kadmon all is Gods intention and according to the Gospel of John, the Messiah was with God from the beginning. Adam and Eve start the process of involution. After a long line of evolution the Messiah comes into being and opens the way for all.
