The Holy Partzuf of Adam Kadmon: The Primordial Human Being

The mysteries of Adam Kadmon are among the inmost secret teachings of the Kabbalah, and they run very deep, venturing into “concealed mysteries,” and as such the knowledge and understanding of these inmost secret teachings can only come through the experience of an exaltation of the soul and revelation in the Holy Spirit. Therefore when we take up contemplation of the mysteries of Adam Kadmon it is good to pray and meditate, to open to the Holy Light and Spirit from above, and pray for revelation, or knowledge and understanding of the mysteries from the Holy Spirit. As there is a giving and receiving of teachings of mysteries of Adam Kadmon, let us pray that the Holy One might bless us with insight and understanding, and the corresponding wisdom! Amen.

There are teachings in our Holy Kabbalah of Olam ha-Adam Kadmon, the primordial universe and primordial Sefirot, teachings of Adam Kadmon that have their origin in the Kabbalah of the Ari of Safed, but there are also teachings of the Holy Partzuf of Adam Kadmon, which, although deeply connected with the teachings of Olam ha-Adam Kadmon, are distinct from them, forming another branch of teachings of the secret mysteries of Adam Kadmon. Here I’m inclined to share something of the teachings of the Holy Partzuf of Adam Kadmon.

As we know, in the teachings of Olam ha-Adam Kadmon, Adam Kadmon is the interface of Ain Sof (Infinite One) and the Sefirot of Atzilut, and therefore at times the Sefirot of Atzilut are called the “body” of Adam Kadmon, and those of Beriyah, Yetzirah and Asiyah are called “garments” of Adam Kadmon. All in a great and supreme mystery, though, Ain Sof reaches into and pervades the entire array of Sefirot through all four Olamot, and the Holy Partzuf of Adam Kadmon corresponds with the interface of Ain Sof and the entire array of the Great Tree of Life. Thus, in the teachings of the Holy Partzuf of Adam Kadmon the “body” of Adam Kadmon encompasses the entire Great Tree; the “top of the head” of Adam Kadmon corresponds with Keter of Keter of Atzilut, and the “soles of the feet” of Adam Kadmon correspond with Malkut of Malkut of Asiyah; hence, the entire matrix of emanation, creation, formation and action is the Body of Adam Kadmon, and the entire matrix is contained within Adam Kadmon, and by extension the entire matrix is contained in Adam ha-Rishon, the supernal human being, emanating from Adam Kadmon, the primordial human being.

Now as we know the souls of all creatures in heaven and earth have their root in Adam Kadmon, whether the souls of humans or souls of angels, and even in the mineral and vegetable kingdoms there is some manifestation of “soul,” which sustains the existence of all things, and within and behind everything that appears in creation there is a guardian angel of the soul. Among human beings, and reaching into all creatures in heaven and earth, there are very lofty souls that have their root in the “skull,” “brain,” “head” or “face “of Adam Kadmon, and great souls that have their root in the “torso” and “organs” of Adam Kadmon, and those that have their root in the “limbs” of Adam Kadmon, all the way down to those that have their roots in the “soles of the feet” and “heels” of Adam Kadmon. In that Adam Kadmon encompasses the entire Great Tree, so also the shadow of the Holy Tree, the klippot, and as we know there are souls of creatures that are drawn from the klippot, the “shadow” of Adam Kadmon. The souls of all creatures in heaven and earth drawn from the body of Adam Kadmon correspond with Adam Kadmon as the image and likeness of Yahweh Elohim Tzavaot; in the awakening of Adam Kadmon, the Second Coming of the Messiah, this corresponds with the image and likeness of Yahweh Elohim, Shaddai, the fruition of Ratzon Elyon (will of the Most High) in the End-Of-Days.

The entirety of creation, and all creatures, throughout all time, is within Adam Kadmon, the image and likeness of Yahweh Elohim Tzavaot, and through this play of emanation, creation, formation and action it is as though Adam Kadmon is asleep and dreaming, and awakening, remembering innate unity with Ain Sof, the Infinite; hence, remembering primordial enlightenment, the realization of bornless being, the reality of the One-Who-Never-Sleeps.

In closing we may set a contemplation into motion, recalling that in the Christian Kabbalah masters of the tradition have taught that the Soul of Adam Kadmon is the Soul of the Messiah. Understanding this we may contemplate the first five verses of the prologue of the Gospel of St. John as though an utterance of mysteries of Adam Kadmon, certainly so!

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being. What has come into being in him was life, and the life was the light of all people. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.”

Here it is given for us to pause and wait upon the Spirit of the Lord.

Holy One, please bless us with knowledge and understanding of the Works of Creation, and let your Holy Spirit reveal to us the primordial foundation of all - the Clear Light Nature - that we might have wisdom and remember our origin in you, the Infinite and Eternal! Amen.

Shalom Aleichem!

Self-Offering

#2 Postby Elder Gideon » Sat Sep 17, 2016 10:04 pm

Equinox Shalom, Tau Malachi:

Your post on the partzuf of Adam Kadmon is most luminous. I often feel like I'm dreaming to read of such teachings in my own tongue, as the entirety of our lineage seems fundamentally to be one great Christian midrash of Adam ha-Rishon, emanated from Adam Kadmon.

I've long been fascinated by the deep sleep cast by YHVH Elohim upon Adam ha-Rishon, who dreams the gender of Eve and Adam and the Patriarchs, Matriachs, Moses, the Exodus, the prophets, and even Yeshua. Flanking Genesis, the Apocalypse to me recently has become a contemplation of Adam ha-Rishon awakening.

Tonight, a very powerful experience filled my consciousness while processing our community's work in the Feast of the Apocalypse. I saw several overlapping images without contradiction: The sacrifice of Isaac in front of Lord Yeshua's Crucifixion-Resurrection in front of the Lamb of the Apocalypse. Flanking these were the left and right sides of the Red Sea split by the power of God through Moses. Above and beyond all of these was the Covenant of the Rainbow with Noah. The essence within all of these is everything you've taught me: how self-restraint is at the same time an expanse of consciousness; how a transcendence of the body is at the same time an influx of greater consciousness into the body.

I share this in gratitude to the Mother, in whom all of these narratives are contemplations of the dream of Adam ha-Rishon awakening. They are all threaded by mercy and severity moving simultaneously. My mental being has failed to isolate these poles as a sequence. Instead, as the rabbis commenting on the Exodus throughout Zohar, mercy, severity, and all the sefirot are simultaneous as the body of this partzuf of Adam Kadmon.

What more has the awakening of Adam ha-Rishon to do with these evolving images of self-offering? Simply asked, what has awakening to do with self-offering?

Gratefully,

Elder Gideon

Shabbat Shalom, Dear Tau Malachi and Friends!

All gratitude and praise to Imma Gadol for the sharing of these mysteries!

I am delighting in the discussions a companion and I are having regarding these teachings! If I might add a question to Elder Gideon's moving insight and query?

Above, Elder Gideon said:

The essence within all of these is everything you've taught me: how self-restraint is at the same time an expanse of consciousness; how a transcendence of the body is at the same time an influx of greater consciousness into the body.

Can we say that self-restraint and self-offering are dissolution? Giving rise to an expansion of consciousness? So that these are actually one simultaneous movement? Our partzuf practices come to mind, where we dissolve into the heart of the partzuf. It seems that such dissolution is self offering of our worldly, limited self, so that we might become what we are dissolving into. So that we might become the heart of the partzuf, which is infinite, spacious, in compassion and love. So that self offering is dissolution of our worldly garments so that we might awaken, becoming our eternal, infinite, true self, thus the awakening of Adam Kadmon?

Self offering, dissolution, expansion of consciousness, being a singular, fluid movement?

Crucifixion and Resurrection. Just as Elder Gideon shared above, the same movement arising in these three events?

Any additions or corrections deemed beneficial will be received with gratitude.

May all be prepared to remove our worldly garments, when the Day of the Lord comes upon us!

Grace and peace to you in Messiah Yeshua, Adonai!

The entire matrix of creation, spiritual, astral and material, is as the radiant display of the Mind of Adam Kadmon, or Soul of Adam Kadmon, asleep and dreaming, and so is Adam ha-Rishon asleep and dreaming, luminous, radiant dreams, and strange and fitful dreams, all the magical display, if you will, of the Mind of Adam Kadmon, or Soul of Adam Kadmon. The entirety of the Holy Scriptures, and the revelations of Divine or Enlightened Being of all wisdom traditions arising from the Primordial Tradition (Order of Melchizedek), in effect, are the stirring of Adam Kadmon to lucidity in dream, and the awakening of Adam Kadmon from sleep and dream, the remembrance of Primordial and Supernal Enlightenment, or conscious union with the Infinite and Eternal One. In this respect, as I’ve taught before, we can study and contemplate the Holy Scriptures as though our own dream, for each of us is an emanation of Adam Kadmon, Adam ha-Rishon (Primordial and Supernal Adam - Human Being), and as such, every character, every place, every event, situation or circumstance, may be understood as an aspect of ourselves, just as in the dreams that arise for us in the night, radiant, magical displays of our own mind, consciousness or soul, our own being and energy. In this regard, the Holy Gospel, and specifically Revelation and the Second Coming, is the awakening of Adam Kadmon, Adam ha-Rishon, from sleep and dream, and with the awakening from sleep and dream, so there is the dissolution of the dream environment and the dreamer, the one who is in the dream. This, exactly, is the tale of Revelation, or Apocalypse, the dissolution of the dreamer and dream in the process of awakening, all returning to its true essence and nature, Ain, No-Thingness, and Clear Light, or pure radiant awareness without beginning or end; hence, the realization of bornless being inseparable from the Infinite and Eternal One, or Yahweh Elohim, Shaddai.

The end of days, the end of dream; so it is when souls awaken, becoming enlightened, realizing their transcendence, salvation, liberation! Certainly so!

This is the coming of the Lord (Yahweh, Yeshua). Hallelu Yah! Praise the Lord!

May the sleeper awaken! Amen.

There is something more that needs to be said, however, of the mystery of Adam Kadmon, Adam ha-Rishon, and Revelation, Apocalypse, something of an open secret that is astonishing and marvelous, and difficult to fathom. Adam Kadmon, Adam ha-Rishon, asleep and dreaming, this corresponds with Beriyah, Yetzirah and Asiyah, the Realm of Perud (separation), but in Atzilut, the Realm of Yichud (unity), Adam Kadmon, Adam ha-Rishon, has never slept, and never dreamt, but is the One-Who-Never-Sleeps, the Word that was in the beginning, that was with the Eternal One and was the Eternal One (Yahweh); hence, Primordial Enlightened Being, Supernal Enlightened Being, without beginning, without end, the realization of the Order of Melchizedek (Messiah/Melchizedek). This corresponds with the enlightenment experience in the dawn of Supernal Consciousness - Supernal Realization, it is as though a “remembrance” of the One-Who-Never-Sleeps, the one “without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but resembling the Son of God” - the Eternal One; hence, the recognition and realization of the mind, consciousness or soul inseparable from the Human One of Light (Messiah) and the Eternal One (Yahweh Elohim, Shaddai).

This is the truth of the great palace of the Messiah beheld by St. John, the abode of the supernal princes and elders, and it is the truth of New Jerusalem, the experience of souls in the World-That-Is-Coming; yet, in the experience of Supernal Realization - Supernal or Messianic Consciousness, something of this truth (Amet), something of this Light-presence and Light-power, is embodied and made manifest in This World. Praise God!

Listen and hear, and understand! Apocalypse, Revelation, the revelation, remembrance, of the One-Who-Never-Sleeps! When the dream and the one who appears in the dream passes away and dissolves, this is the one who remains and abides awake and eternal, the Primordial Enlightened One, Supernal Enlightened One, inseparable from the Pleroma of Light and the Infinite (Ain Sof).

In this way meditate, contemplate, on the true meaning of self-nullification, self-offering, and contemplate the reality of the Risen and Ascended Messiah well, and understand!

All in a great and supreme mystery there is One and there is Many, one Primordial and Supernal Enlightened Being (Messiah), and many holy and enlightened ones, many emanations of Primordial and Supernal Enlightenment; this, of course, reflects the truth of Yahweh Elohim, the Eternal One in countless emanations, so also the image and likeness of Yahweh Elohim, this enlightened Human One, “Son of the Human One.”

This corresponds with the inmost aspects of our soul, our inmost being (I Am), and it is through complete self-offering, self-nullification, that this true being, bornless being, shines forth from within us and is realized, embodied. This is exactly what Adonai Yeshua has revealed to us in the Gospel, and having faith and knowledge, taking up our cross, we can follow in the Way - the Great Ascension, Great Liberation! Hallelu Yah! Praise the Lord!

This seems enough for the moment.

May the Holy Spirit gift you with this remembrance, this realization, and lead you into all truth (Amet)! Amen.

Shalom Aleichem!

Garments of Light

#5 Postby Anna » Sat Sep 24, 2016 2:27 pm

Blessings of peace and grace!

In contemplation of the entirety as the garments of Adam Kadmon, I seem to recall teachings that what is exterior to the Holy One is interior to us and that what is exterior to us is interior to God. Rabbi Moshe Cordovero wrote:

Since our rabbis, of blessed memory, explained that when Israel stood at Mount Sinai, their contamination ceased, why were they not brought (immediately) into the Lower Garden of Eden? Why was dwelling in this world, and the land of Israel, and other things still required?...it is true that when Israel stood on Mount Sinai, their contamination ceased. For they greatly purified their matter. However, had they entered the Garden of Eden, they would have done so naked, without a garment, because they had not yet fulfilled the commandments. If one has not fulfilled the commandments, he has nothing to be clothed in…

This teaching sounds very much like our teachings of Christian Kabbalah that speak of putting on the Perfect Light, such as in the Gospel of Phillip:

The rulers do not see you who wear the perfect light, and they cannot seize you. You put on the light in the mystery of union.(Garment of Light, p. 301, Barnestone and Meyer)

And also, saying #92 in The Secret Gospel of St. Mary Magdalene:

Weave for yourselves garments of light, so that, when you go before the Queen of Heaven to be received, you do not appear naked. With faith and the fullness of knowledge, do good works and love one another, and in the Spirit of the Lord you will have garments of light.

There are many other mystical writings that speak of spiritual garments, but the last one I would like to bring up is from the thread “Garments of Holiness: Dressing in Holiness” where Tau Malachi writes this:

First, inwardly clothe yourself in beauty and holiness - in the Messiah and Divine Attributes (Sefirot), for in so doing you will generate a body of light and clothing of light for your soul in the inner dimensions and the heavens; clothing yourself in this way, set your mind on those things that are above, and walk with uplifted energy, and the light of your soul will shine from within you blessing every place you go and all whom you encounter. You will serve to uplift others in this way.

To contemplate Adam Kadmon “dressed” in the sefirot of perud as “garments” and our own destiny to dress - not only in the sefirot of perud but also in the very "body" of Adam Kadmon - speaks powerfully to me of how truly we are emanations of Adam Kadmon and Adam ha-Rishon, as Tau teaches above. In a linear/mental point of view, it seems that we are connecting from the opposite “direction” into Adam Kadmon as we weave our garments of light. From what Tau has spoken above, I understand that Adam Kadmon has already woven into and through us. These garments seem destined for us from the beginning, yet they also are uniquely woven and worn by us in a co-labor with Mother Spirit. Then, as we weave are we realizing the pattern already woven in the World To Come? With Tifaret as the heart of the tree, are we not also speaking of "the pattern that connects", the pattern that connects us to our Holy Source?

In this “dressing” in the garments of the sefirot it seems we are integrating and enacting the light here in Asiyah, the world of making. So also, in this integration, we begin to awaken, and the world of making begins to shift into the world of waking, the dream of Adam Kadmon fading into its source, Ain Sof, the dream of humanity dissolving and revealing the Truth of Union.

May all beings awaken to their destiny! May many beings awaken to the opportunity of weaving their garments of light and life this day!

Shalom!

The Holy Partzuf of Adam Kadmon: The Primordial Human Being

#6 Postby Tau Malachi » Mon Sep 26, 2016 10:01 am

Grace and peace to you in Hayyah Yeshua!

There are three very distinct branches of teachings of mysteries of Adam Kadmon in our Kabbalah and while they dovetail in moments of revelation, and are interconnected, they must also be understood as individual and distinct from one another; only in this way can they be discussed in interconnection and interrelationship with understanding. In teachings of Olam ha-Adam Kadmon and the Great Tree composed of five Olamot, the body of Adam Kadmon is Atzilut, Adam Kadmon being as the “soul” in that “body,” and the Sefirot of Beriyah, Yetzirah and Asiyah are referred to as “garments,” and rightly so, for they are concealments of the Sefirot of Atzilut. This teaching delves into the mysteries of tzimtzum, restriction, and concealment of the Light of the Infinite in the process of emanation, creation, formation and action, the generation of the supernal universe and worlds, and the spiritual, astral and material universes and worlds, each corresponding with a greater restriction and concealment of the Holy Light and Spirit of the Eternal One. Many and diverse mysteries of Adam Kadmon are drawn out and revealed in this branch of teachings, and it is very good.

There is, however, another branch of teachings of mysteries of Adam Kadmon, as shared in this discussion, teachings of the Great Partzuf of Adam Kadmon, and in these teachings the entire array of the Sefirot through all four Olamot are called the body of Adam Kadmon. In these teachings there is the revelation of a great and supreme mystery, one corresponding with the experience of reality in Supernal Consciousness, or a state of non-dual gnostic awareness; rather than a focus on the process of restriction and concealment, these teachings drive towards awareness of how the Infinite, or Light of the Infinite, is equally within and behind all things, the infinity and transcendence of all things in their essence and nature, and the Sacred Unity of the Infinite and Eternal underlying all that arises and appears on all levels, in all dimensions and worlds of creation. Thus, in this teaching for example, there is the awareness of the Holy Light that is above being everywhere below, and the awareness of that Infinite Light as the secret center of every particle of matter; it’s really very wild, for though we can speak of the progressive restriction and concealment of the Holy Light and Spirit, at the same time there is the truth of no restriction and no concealment, the body of Adam Kadmon as the entire array of the Great Tree, not Atzilut as the body and Beriyah, Yetzirah and Asiyah as garments. These two branches of teachings on mysteries of Adam Kadmon are simultaneous truths, but each is drawing out specific mysteries of Adam Kadmon and the interrelationship of the Infinite One (Ain Sof) with the Sefirot and matrix of creation. This teaching of the Great Partzuf of Adam Kadmon, of course, corresponds with the mystery of the “kingdom of heaven spread out upon the earth,” and likewise with secret mysteries concerning the resurrection and ascension, and teachings of the Great Transformation.

Understand, Adam Kadmon, Atzilut the body of Adam Kadmon, and Beriyah, Yetzirah and Asiyah as garments, this is the truth of the Infinite and Eternal ever beyond all that arises and appears, containing all, and Adam Kadmon, the body of Adam Kadmon as the entire array of the Great Tree, this is the truth in the Infinite and Eternal as all that arises and appears, within all; hence, the truth of God beyond all things and the truth of God within all things, the latter corresponding with the great mystery of Divine Incarnation, and how the fullness of God and Godhead becomes embodied in an individual, or individuals, in this world.

So here, in this contemplation, our focus is on the teachings of the Great Partzuf of Adam Kadmon, the entire array of the Great Tree contemplated as the “body of Adam Kadmon,” and this profoundly delves into deep mysteries of the Gospel and the embodiment of the fullness of God, the True Light.

Now the teaching from Rabbi Moses Cordovero concerning the commandments and the weaving of garments for the soul, we may consider the work of salvation under the law, the old covenant, versus the work of salvation in the sanctuary of grace, the new covenant, something of the latter being revealed in the teachings of the Great Partzuf of Adam Kadmon in our Christian Kabbalah. To consider the work of salvation under the law we may recall the teachings of Rabbi Isaac Luria, the Ari of Safed. According to the Ari souls incarnate until each aspect of the soul is realized and embodied, and in his teaching, in any given incarnation the focus is the realization of one aspects of the soul, and once that aspect is realized a soul cannot progress to the realization of another aspect until it incarnates again in the next life. Thus, for example, if a soul incarnates for the realization of nefesh, and that is accomplished, then in the next incarnation that soul may progress to ruach, and so it goes until all aspects of the soul are realized. Thus, there is a linear progression grade by grade until the fullness of the soul is realized, and as perhaps you might imagine this can span many incarnations, for the realization of of each grade may take many lives, many incarnations. Along with this, various Mekubalim and the Ari teach that a soul must continue to incarnate until all 613 commandments are properly enacted in thought, word and deed, and this too can span many lives. According to Jewish Mekubalim through the enacting of all of the commandments a garment is woven for the soul so that it can enter the Garden of Eden, or appear the World-To-Come, and apart from this souls cannot enter the Garden of Eden, or appear in the World-To-Come. In this work of salvation under the law one is reminded of Hinayana Buddhism, the “lesser vehicle,” which teaches a path to enlightenment in ten thousand lives, the long path. As we know, there is also Mahayana, the “great vehicle,” which teaches a path of enlightenment in one thousand lives, the medium path and there is Vajrayana, the “supreme vehicle,” which teaches a path to enlightenment in three to seven lives, the swift path. Something similar comes into being with the work of salvation in the sanctuary of grace; hence, through the Messiah and revelation of the Gospel.

Listen and hear, and understand! Adonai Yeshua, the Perfect Tzaddik, the Messiah, enacted all of the commandments in perfection, completely, doing what he saw the Eternal One doing, enacting Ratzon Elyon, the will of the Most High, and in the perfection of the commandments he enacted a total and complete self-offering, generating the sanctuary of grace, fulfilling the law and the prophets. Thus, any soul that receives the Messiah (Anointing), and that cleaves to the Messiah, and enacts the single commandment given in the Gospel, it is as though they fulfill all of the commandments, and through grace, through the Holy Spirit, all aspects of their soul may become realized in the Messiah, unified in the Messiah with El Elyon, God Most High. Thus, through the Divine Incarnation - the awakening, realization, of Adam Kadmon, there is the possibility of a Thunderbolt Enlightenment.

This corresponds with a swift weaving of “garments” for the soul, or “light vestures”: hence a spiritual body, a body of light - body of the resurrection radiant with glory. Gathered into the sanctuary of grace - the Body of the Messiah, so there is the generation of a body of light, and through faith and love, enacting what is good and true - good works, the soul becomes clothed in radiant glory and holiness, and shines like a great star in heaven; hence, the soul having “garments.”

In this we may contemplate “putting on the Blessed Name” as being “clothed” in the Blessed Name.

This path of a Thunderbolt Enlightenment - Union of Grace, naturally corresponds with the awareness, realization, of the Light of the Infinite equally within all things, a truth indicated in teachings of Adam Kadmon as the Great Partzuf, the body of Adam Kadmon being the entire array of the Great Tree of Life from Atzilut to Asiyah.

This seems enough for one time.

May many souls be established this day in the Great Resurrection and Ascension! Amen.

Shalom Aleichem!

The Holy Partzuf of Adam Kadmon: The Primordial Human Being

#7 Postby Tau Malachi » Thu Sep 29, 2016 10:15 am

Grace and peace to you in Hayyah Yeshua!

There is something more the Holy Spirt inclines me to share of the secret teachings of Adam Kadmon as the Great Partzuf and the body of Adam Kadmon encompassing the entire array of the Great Tree.

In one teaching of this branch of the mysteries of Adam kadmon, understanding the Sefirot of all four Olamot as the “body of Adam Kadmon,” the entire material dimension, and the material universe, and the worlds and realms appearing in it, and all creatures inhabiting them, may be contemplated as the material body of Adam Kadmon, this corresponds with the Sefirot of Asiyah; the same can be said of the astral dimension, and the astral universe, and the worlds and realms appearing in it, this can be contemplated as the astral body of Adam Kadmon, this corresponds with the Sefirot of Yetzirah; and the same can be said of the spiritual dimension, and the spiritual universe, and the worlds and realms appearing in it, this may be contemplated as the spiritual body of Adam Kadmon, this corresponds with the Sefirot of Beriyah; and then there is the supernal dimension, and the supernal universe, and the worlds and realms appearing in it, this may be contemplated as the supernal body of Adam Kadmon, this corresponds with the Sefirot of Atzilut. Thus, truly, all may be understood as the “body of Adam Kadmon,” material, astral, spiritual and supernal, the body of Adam Kadmon manifesting in these four dimensions, all one Great Body, the entire matrix of emanation, creation, formation and making being the Body of Adam Kadmon, the Primordial Human Being.

In this, perhaps, you may gain insight into souls drawn from various parts of the body of Adam Kadmon, from the soles of the feet to the crown of the head; as souls generate their “garments,” which is to say their subtle body, astral, spiritual and supernal, so returning to their origin, realized, they are established in their “place” as preordained, all according to Ratzon Elyon, the will of the Supreme.

Now consider this. In the evolution and realization of souls, if and when they generate a body of light reaching into the supernal dimension, with the influx of the Supernal Light, Supernal Consciousness-Force, there is the generation of the Threefold Body of Melchizedek; reaching into the supernal dimension (Atzilut), there may be the recognition of the Primordial Foundation - the Clear Light Nature, and with this the realization of the Body of Truth, and from the Body of Truth the Body of Glory and Pure Emanation are generated, this the awakening of Adam Kadmon, realization of Adam Kadmon - divine fullness of the Body of Adam Kadmon.

Aside from the recognition of the Clear Light Nature and Supernal Realization, however, as we sojourn in the Way, receiving our anointing with the Holy Light and Spirit, being reborn from above, from heaven, there is a progressive generation of a body of light, first the generation of an astral body of light in full glory, then the generation of a spiritual body of light in full glory, and eventually the generation of a supernal body of light and the potential of the Supernal Realization. In this, perhaps, we may recall the teaching in Hebrews, “always seek a better resurrection,” which is to say, always seek a greater generation of the body of light, a greater generation of light power, radiance of the soul.

As we generate a body of light in the Messiah and Holy Spirit, corresponding with the gradation of the generation of the body of light we can receive influxes of the Sefirot. At the level of Asiyah there are the influxes of the celestial spheres, celestial intelligences and angels, and at the level of Yetzirah there are influxes of the world of angels and exterior heavens, this corresponding with the generation of the astral body of light. As we continue the generation of the body of light, so we may reach into the world of souls (neshamot) and archangels, and the interior heavens, this corresponding with the generation of the spiritual body of light. Then, as there is the generation of the supernal body of light, we may receive direct influxes of the Sefirot, powers of the Names of God, and influxes of the heaven of heavens and palace of the Messiah.

Although to speak of the generation of the body of light we necessarily must explain it in a linear sequential way, if we understand the truth of the Light of the Infinite equally within all things and the mystery of the sanctuary of grace - Union of Grace in the Messiah, we may realize that the generation of the body of light is not so linear, but rather that the generation of a great body of light can happen swiftly through Divine Grace, the Spirit of God (Ruach Elohim), certainly so!

As we know, however, there is a work of salvation to be engaged, and we need to cooperate and co-labor with the Holy Spirit, “always seeking a better resurrection.” First and foremost we must understand that the subtle body is a direct expression and manifestation of the energy and vibration of our consciousness, the energy and vibration of our thoughts and emotions, and our desires, and therefore in the generation of the body of light we need to uplift the energy and vibration of our consciousness, our thoughts and emotions, and our words and actions, drawing them into harmony with the Spirit of God and heaven. Naturally, the greater our faith and devotion, the greater the generation of light power, and likewise, setting our minds on those things that are above, the greater the generation of light power, radiance of the soul. Through study and contemplation with kavvanah, focused attention, and through deep prayer and meditation, and devotions with devekut, cleaving, and through all manner of good works, or acts of loving-kindness and charity, light power is generated, there is the generation of a greater body of light, and therefore a “better resurrection.”

Essentially, we must live according to our faith, according to the truth and light revealed to us - the Gospel, and it is in this that the body of light is generated, the soul realized, and the Messiah and Holy Spirit are embodied; it is in this that the full action of Divine Grace, the Spirit of God, can come into effect and transpire with, in and through us.

These were a few further thoughts I was inclined to share this morning.

O Holy One, through your Supernal Grace may many souls be made to shine as brilliant stars of heaven in this world and in the World-To-Come! Amen.

Shalom Aleichem!

Re: The Holy Partzuf of Adam Kadmon: The Primordial Human Be

#8 Postby Yonah » Sat Oct 01, 2016 8:23 am

Greetings and blessings in the name of Yeshua Messiah!

Thank you so much for this beautiful set of teachings. I am in awe and wonder as I contemplate and meditate upon this.

I am drawn back to the teaching that the divine name of Malkut in the Second Coming is Elohim. From this and previous teachings I’ve understood that Tzaddikim, those that are enlightened and liberated, are partzufim? What I’m hearing in addition to this is that those that are not yet awake are the dream of Adam Kadmon? A dream that may still awaken and become truly partzufim as well?

In addition, I hear that true self-offering is to let go of the dream vision of who we are and let the dreamer wake through this incarnation?

Shalom, Yonah

Grace and peace to you in Hayyah Yeshua!

Yes, indeed, as we see with Yohanan, Mother Miriam, Yeshua, Magdalene, and others, there are holy and enlightened ones, or great Tzaddikim, who become partzufim below, in this world; abiding in conscious union with the Holy One, embodying Supernal or Messianic Consciousness, so something of the Holy One is embodied in them, and therefore they are partzuf, a personification of the Divine. This is understood in all authentic wisdom traditions that teach a path to self-realization of enlightenment, that in self-realization or enlightenment something of the transcendent Divine or Enlightened Being is embodied.

According to the doctrines of mainstream Christianity God comes down in the person of Jesus, Yeshua, and God becomes a human being so that human beings might become God. In mainstream Christianity, however, the full embodiment of God is isolate to Yeshua and no other has or will embody the fullness of God as Yeshua; Gnostics, though, believe that the full embodiment of God is not isolate to Yeshua, but that we are also to strive to embody the Spirit of God in full, just as our Elder Brother, Adonai Yeshua did. Likewise, in our view, in our faith, the Magdalene embodied the fullness of God, and so also did Mother Miriam. Thus, truly, in our view, in our faith, “God became human so that humans might become God.” From one generation to another this process of God - God Consciousness, being embodied continues, and this corresponds with those we call great Tzaddikim and perfect Tzaddikim.

In its essence and nature each soul is an emanation of Adam Kadmon, and as such in each soul, as the soul evolves and awakens, so Adam Kadmon is awakening; and we may say that in the experience of the dawn of Supernal or Messianic Consciousness with a soul there is an experience of Adam Kadmon awakening, or the realization of the soul being the “Son of the Human One” (Supernal Adam). This corresponds with what’s been taught before, that wherever and whenever a soul becomes enlightened and Supernal Consciousness dawns, there in that place, at that time, the Light-presence and Light-power of all of the holy and enlightened ones of the past, present and future is present, fullness of the Human One of Light - supernal and primordial Enlightened Being.

Truly, in the experience of Supernal Realization the Holy Light that is above is recognized in everything below, the Light of the Infinite shining equally in all things in heaven and on earth, the glory of Yahweh filling the earth, filling the entirety; and very literally it is an experience of the kingdom of heaven very near, spread out upon the earth. This, of course, is what is being hinted at in teachings of Adam Kadmon as the Great Partzuf, though there are other secret mysteries in these teachings, such as the souls of creatures being drawn from many different gradations, Asiyah, Yetzirah and Beriyah, and reaching into Atzilut.

Here we may say, when a soul has evolved to be drawn from Atzilut, the Supernal Realization becomes possible, or if a soul is able to reach into those dimensions of soul corresponding with Atzilut, so the experience of Supernal Consciousness will dawn. In every generation there are souls preordained or destined to this self-realization or enlightenment in the Messiah.

These are a few thoughts I can share on this Shabbat morning.

Shabbat Shalom!

Shalom!

Most wonderous and awesome are these teachings from the Wisdom Treasury!

As has been shared:

"Now as we know the souls of all creatures in heaven and earth have their root in Adam Kadmon, whether the souls of humans or souls of angels, and even in the mineral and vegetable kingdoms there is some manifestation of “soul,” which sustains the existence of all things, and within and behind everything that appears in creation there is a guardian angel of the soul. In that Adam Kadmon encompasses the entire Great Tree, so also the shadow of the Holy Tree, the klippot, and as we know there are souls of creatures that are drawn from the klippot, the “shadow” of Adam Kadmon."

What is new to my hearing seems to be the possibility that there is an evolution of soul as which seems to be pointed out here:

"Listen and hear, and understand! Thus, through the Divine Incarnation - the awakening, realization, of Adam Kadmon, there is the possibility of a Thunderbolt Enlightenment."

What is so new to my hearing is the possibility of souls being say "drawn from the upper left" and the possibility of an evolution of sorts, as implied here:

"This, of course, is what is being hinted at in teachings of Adam Kadmon as the Great Partzuf, though there are other secret mysteries in these teachings, such as the souls of creatures being drawn from many different gradations, Asiyah, Yetzirah and Beriyah, and reaching into Atzilut.

Here we may say, when a soul has EVOLVED to be drawn from Atzilut, the Supernal Realization becomes possible, or if a soul is able to reach into those dimensions of soul corresponding with Atzilut, so the experience of Supernal Consciousness will dawn. In every generation there are souls preordained or destined to this self-realization or enlightenment in the Messiah."

Can perhaps more be shared of this mystery of evolution. I must confess I somehow in error felt that where a soul was drawn (example, the upper left) from was somehow fixed and static!

The evoluntionary process and teachings on the 50 gates of Binah come to mind, as well as other teachings on the 5 levels of soul found in each Sefirot in each Olam, comprising the Body of the Great Partzuf of Adam Kadmon.

As always I pray that I can formulate a appropriate question within such a lofty discussion.

Blessings,
Star

Shalom!

I too am in awe of the metaphysical reality revealed here as a foundation of our path of liberation.
as we sojourn in the Way, receiving our anointing with the Holy Light and Spirit, being reborn from above, from heaven, there is a progressive generation of a body of light,
So our anointing ignites this process?
Gathered into the sanctuary of grace - the Body of the Messiah, so there is the generation of a body of light, and through faith and love, enacting what is good and true - good works, the soul becomes clothed in radiant glory and holiness, and shines like a great star in heaven; hence, the soul having “garments.”
Added to this, I read:
This Body of Light is generated by the activation and union of the descending and ascending currents of the Serpent Power
http://www.sophian.org/Threefold%20Sanc ... 0Faith.pdf
Could it be said that the Serpent Power, uplifted desire energy joined with Divine Grace, weaves our "garments" generating more and more light?

With Gratitude,
Bevan.

Grace and peace to you in Messiah Yeshua!

The essence and nature of all souls is supernal, having its root in Atzilut, but souls are, indeed, drawn from all of these various grades corresponding with the entire array of the Great Tree of Life. In this perhaps you may recall that souls sojourn through countless incarnations, through mineral, vegetable, animal, human and divine realms, as well as various other realms, and you must understand that all along souls have a supernal root, though throughout their transmigrations the souls of their incarnations are drawn from various levels, and often, rather than the Sefirot souls may be drawn from klippot. Thus, souls roots can be from the “upper left,” “lower left,” “upper right,” “lower right,” the “upper “middle,” “lower middle,” and so on, and likewise, as such, soul roots are formed from a Sefirah or combination of Sefirot in Atzilut, but until a certain point in the evolution and awakening of souls the soul root is not actualized and realized, and is not embodied, not involved in its incarnations. Thus throughout many incarnations the incarnate soul is drawn from the Sefirot of the lower, outer Olamot, or from the corresponding klippot of the Realm of Perud (separation), Asiyah, Yetzirah and Beriyah. In effect these are all klippot of the soul, or neshamah-ruach-nefesh, understanding the inwardness of souls, or who and what they are in the Light Continuum and Infinite One, corresponds with Atzilut.

In this, perhaps, you may remember the teaching I’ve given numerous times that creatures, beings, as they are in themselves are not equal, but as they are in the Light Continuum and the Eternal One they are all equal. Thus, a fly and and angel are certainly not equal as they are in themselves, nor are a human being and an angel, but as they are in the Light Continuum and Eternal One they are equal. In the process of the evolution and awakening of souls this equality is realized, that in essence and nature all are supernal and divine, all are bornless being without beginning or end, and all are inseparable from the Holy One of Being, the Infinite and Eternal.

As is known, there are three souls races in humankind. In general, the souls of material, bestial humankind are drawn from the Sefirot of Asiyah, the souls of psychic, faithful humankind are drawn from the Sefirot of Yetzirah, and the souls of spiritual, elect humanity are drawn from the Sefirot of Beriyah, understanding that incarnating, all souls take on something of Klippah Nogah and the three other great klippot. Those drawn from Beriyah, the spiritual elect, through the Messiah - the Anointing, are able to reach into their inwardness, the inner dimensions of the five aspects of their soul which emanates from the Sefirot of Atzilut, and therefore may experience Supernal Realization - Christ or God Consciousness.

As is also known, among the spiritual elect are souls of higher grades, those who have been realized in previous incarnations, holy and enlightened ones whose souls, in effect, are drawn from Atzilut; but even with these lofty souls there is the play of Klippah Nogah and at the outset of their incarnation there is a drawing of soul from Beriyah so that they, too, must sojourn the Path of Return to realize their inwardness in incarnation, though indeed this may transpire much more rapidly in their incarnation, and likewise in their realization they may hold an extraordinary anointing with peculiar spiritual gifts, or greater knowledge and power in the Spirit.

Thus, incarnating in this world, all souls must sojourn the Path of Return and labor to embody the fullness of their soul and the Spirit of God.

Now, concerning the serpent power and the Spirit of God, understand that the serpent power is something of the Spirit of God in all souls, in all creatures, in all things; hence, the fiery-intelligence within and behind all life in heaven and on earth. The serpent power, though, may become manifest as the Holy Spirit or as the spirit of the Other Side, heaven forfend; it is a force of creation and destruction that can manifest what is good and true or what is evil and false, or an admixture of good and evil, truth and falsehood. Thus, going within and receiving the Holy Light and Spirit from above, we labor to awaken, sublimate and uplift the serpent power - we strive for the redemption of the serpent power; the serpent power is redeemed through its cessation in the brow and crown, and through its unification with the Messiah and Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit taking up the serpent power in us, reintegrating it with the Shekinah of Messiah. Essentially, in our Union of Grace, it is the Holy Light and Spirit that awakens, uplifts and redeems the serpent power in us.

This fiery force unified with the Holy Spirit is, indeed, the spiritual power through which we are able to generate the body of light, and the greater the awakening and uplifting of the serpent power, the greater the generation of the body of light. Basically speaking the serpent power is desire-energy, and it is our intention to turn our desire-energy inward and upward, Godward; the more we do so, and the more this force is awakened in us, the greater the radiance of our soul, the greater the generation of the body of light - the “solar body of the resurrection and ascension.”

When uplifted desire-energy becomes manifest as love and compassion, and the desire to give, the desire for a complete self-offering, and therefore there is a natural impulse, drive, to enact good works and to uplift the souls of others in return to God, and there is a natural impulse, drive, to devotion, to prayer and meditation, and the worship of the Lord in spirit and truth. Thus, quite naturally, there is an understanding and enacting of the essential commandment, “Love one another as I have loved you.”

These were a few teachings it was given for me to share this morning.

May the Good Serpent be realized in many, and may many realize the inwardness of their soul, their true being as they are in God, the True Light! Amen.

Shalom Aleichem!
