Union with the Cross: Mystery of the Crucifixion

Union with the Cross: Mystery of the Crucifixion

According to the Acts of John when Master Yeshua was on the cross at a certain point John was overcome be grief at the sight of the Master’s suffering and fled to the Mount of Olives, entering into a cave. There, while the crucifixion was underway, Christ appeared to him and revealed the Mystery of the Cross, imparting the inmost level of Gnostic and Light Transmission to his beloved disciple. As the mystery is spoken in the Acts of John, so also is it spoken among us, for it is a divine vision that has transpired in the experience of many adepts and masters of the tradition who have sought the knowledge, understanding and wisdom of the Holy Cross.

This is a mystery the runs deep, for the purpose of the crucifixion is the revelation of the Pleroma of Light in the Risen Christ, and yet the holy sacrifice of the Christ-bearer on the cross is as a ransoming of souls from realms of the archons and a purchasing of others from their bondage to the dominion of the demiurgos; hence, a great magical act dispelling the negative karma (“sin”) of those who cleave to the Risen Savior. Although Gnostics do not believe in a collective and vicarious salvation, as taught in the atonement theology of orthodoxy, nevertheless we know and understand the liberative power of the crucifixion, for by it we behold the illusory nature of the reality that appears; specifically, the illusory nature of our bondage, sin and death. When this Divine Gnosis is acquired – when the Divine Illumination of the Risen Christ dawns, we are, indeed, “saved by the power of the cross,” the “power of the blood of Christ.” As it is taught in the Gnostic Gospel, “Do not despise the lamb, for by it you see the door.”

Indeed, Gnostics do not believe in a collective and vicarious salvation through “blind belief,” but rather we believe in the enlightenment and liberation of the soul through Divine Gnosis. This salvation, however, is universal, for the whole of Nature (Sophia Zoe) labors towards it and eventually all holy sparks will be gathered into the Mystical Body of the Risen Christ, all living spirits and souls reintegrated to the Light Realm. The Christ-bearer on the cross has become the vehicle of this great liberation within the Entirety, for through the appearance of death and resurrection the Divine Revelation of Christ is made complete – the power of the demiurge (cosmic ignorance) is dispelled and the True Light is made manifest; the Spirit of Truth made known to all who desire to listen and hear, and look and see.

As it has transpired in this world, so it is transpiring in all realms, worlds and universes of the Entirety, and so it continues to transpire among us – the Light-bearers enter, taking up their cross of incarnation to illuminate, heal and bring peace, laboring in the fields of sentient existence for the sake of the harvest of souls. Of this ongoing labor of the Great Liberation we shall say: It is the Continuum of Light Transmission imparted by the Gnostic Revealer that illuminates, heals and gives peace; receiving the Light from above we too become Light-bearers, Healers and Peacemakers, for the Master has said to us: “Take up your cross and follow me.”

No one can reveal the Mystery of the Crucifixion to another, but rather it is the Light-presence (Christ) and Light-power (Holy Spirit) that reveals it – the Mother’s Force, Divine Grace. Thus, if you seek to know and understand this great mystery you must pray and meditate upon it, and seek direct spiritual and mystical experience of it – calling upon the Divine Presence and Power of Christ to reveal it to you.

Yet, we can say this: The mystery is symbolized in the traditional robe of our Holy Order – the white robe represents the True Light that illuminates us, and the red cross and cincture is the power in the Blood of the Lamb that liberates us. Of the Body and Blood of the Lamb of God we can say: “The Body is Light; the Blood is Fire – this is the truth of the Human One of Light, the Divine I Am.” Let the Templar contemplate and meditate upon the symbolism of their robe and upon the truth of the Mystical Body of the Risen Christ, seeking knowledge, understanding and wisdom through Divine Grace.

Here we must also say this: We do not worship a cross of wood, nor do we worship blood and flesh, but rather the symbol of our worship is the Cross of Light – we worship El Elyon (God Most High) in the Light-presence and Light-power revealed in the Risen Christ (Christ Melchizedek).

Contemplative Meditation:

Read and contemplate the Revelation of the Mystery of the Cross in the Acts of John; when it is well known to you, then meditate upon it.

Envision yourself as St. John the Beloved in the cave, as though in the womb of the Holy Mother, and envision the Human One of Light appearing before you – the Living Yeshua speaking the mystery to you, imparting to you the Gnostic and Light Transmission of the True Cross, the Great Seth (Shin-Tau).

When the revelation is complete, take up the chant: Ha-Yah-Yah-Ha Yah-Ha-Sha-Va-Ha, and envision the Living Yeshua dissolve into fluid flowing light and pour into your heart, illuminating you with the knowledge, understanding and wisdom of the Sacred Heart.

Then chant Hallelu Yah three times and say, Amen.

Giving & Receiving:

If you wish to know the Mystery of the Crucifixion, then take up your cross and generate the Sacred Heart of Love and Compassion – envisioning a Cross of Solar Light within your light-body, practice Giving & Receiving. (The entire mystery is made known in this holy meditation – it is nothing more or less than this.)

Mystic Robe & Cross:

Envision yourself in subtle crystalline light-body standing in a pillar of brilliant white light, diamond-like light sparkling with rainbow hues, and within your light-body envision a red cross formed of ruby light – abiding in this way, meditate upon the Great Mystery.

When your meditation is complete chant: Ah-Ha-Yah, and when your chant concludes envision yourself disappear light a rainbow in the sky.

When your mind moves again, chant: Yah-Ha-Vah, with the conscious intention that all beings receive the blessing of the Light of the Cross.

To seal the practice chant: Ah-Da-Na-Yah, with praise and thanksgiving in your heart, and with the intention of dedicating the merit to all beings.

*If a person is in need of liberation from negativity or dark forces, take up this visualization, putting on the mystic robe of light and the cross, and envision rays of ruby red light streaming out of the cross in your light-body upon the person in need – inwardly or outwardly, as appropriate in the moment, intone: Yah-Ha-Va Peh Peh Peh once, in remembrance of the truth of the Risen Christ and with the conscious intention of dispelling the shades and shadows. If a person is in need of a blessing or illumination, taking up this visualization envision the white brilliance rays out upon them, blessings them, and intone Ad-Da-Na-Yah, with the conscious intention of blessing, whether inwardly or outwardly as the circumstances determine.

Union of the Crucifixion:

Abide in Primordial Meditation – when it is time, envision yourself in light-body with the Spiritual Sun in your heart.

Then, envision a ray of light shooting forth from your heart and magically appearing as the Christ-bearer on the Cross before you – there is radiant glory about him and light streams forth from the apertures in his face and his wounds, as though inwardly he is filled with Divine Light, and there is a Great Sphere of White Brilliance above the image of the Christ-bearer on the Cross.

Open your mind and heart to the Christos, and commune in the Divine Presence and Power of Christ – praying for yourself and all beings to receive the blessings and empowerment that flows from the Holy Cross. As you commune in this way, envision that light streams out of the Divine Image, blessings you and all beings.

When your prayers are complete, take up the chant: Adonai Yeshua, Yeshua Messiah, and envision that white brilliance descends into the Divine Image of the Christ-bearer on the Cross and that the image of the Christ-bearer on the Cross becomes brilliant; becoming dazzling brilliance, envision that the image dissolves into fluid flowing light that streams to form a Holy Star above your head – envision this Divine Light pours down into your heart and merges with it as you conclude the chant. Your mind becomes the Mind of Christ, your heart becomes the Sacred Heart of Christ and your body becomes the Mystic Body of Christ – abide in the awareness of this union as long as you can.

Then, when your mind is set in motion again, give praise and thanks to El Elyon, and dedicate the merit of the practice – when you go out into the world walk in the remembrance of the Human One of Light in you and the truth of the Human One of Light in all beings, walk in a sacred manner practicing the Blessing Way. This is the simple Union of the Crucifixion.

*When this method is stabilized you can practice the Transference of Consciousness Method of the Union of the Crucifixion.

Transference of Consciousness:

This practice is the same through the cycle of prayer and communion – you pray for all beings as you commune in the presence of the Christos, desiring the fulfillment of all beings, their happiness.

Then let the Holy Desire to satisfy and fulfill all beings yourself arise in your heart – the Holy Desire to offer up yourself as a blessing upon all beings.

Take up the chant: Adonai Yeshua Messiah, and as you do envision that a ray of Divine Light streams forth from Christ on the Cross striking you in the heart, and that your light-body becomes dazzling brilliance – dissolving into fluid flowing light, envision that you pour into the Sacred Heart of Christ, merging with the Christ-bearer on the Cross.

As the Christ-bearer on the Cross envision that the Mount of the Skull is a great cosmic mountain and that countless sentient beings gather around it seeking the blessing and grace pouring out through you – above envision the holy ones and immortals of the Pleroma of Light, the Divine Order, and on a plane going out from the base of the cross envision all manner of faithful and elect who are in the Way, and below envision all manner of sentient beings not yet in the way, to include such beings as the minions of the Lion-faced Ruler, hungry ghosts and demons.

Let yourself as the Christ-bearer on the Cross be filled with unconditional love and compassion for all beings – burn deep with love and the yearning to set all beings free, aware of the plight of the ignorance binding sentient beings to the gilgulim and the need for their salvation; know their sorrow and suffering as you own, and wish that they might know your peace and joy in the Light-presence and Light-power. With this holy desire, offer yourself to them, take up the chant: Kodesh, kodesh, kodesh Yahweh Elohim Tzavaot.

As you chant on the cross, envision the Divine Light descending upon your from above, and envision it pouring out through you to all beings gathered around you – see streams of light flowing out of your body as it becomes dazzling light, and see all beings surrounding you become dazzling brilliant light, all self-radiant with glory.

Then, as you near the end of the chant, envision that the entire assembly of beings becomes fluid flowing light and that, dissolving, they all pour into your Sacred Heart as Christ on the Cross – all blessed and uplifted in you.

Now take up the chant: Abba – drawing out the “ah” sound at the end of Abba, and envision that you, as the Christ-bearer on the Cross, dissolve into fluid flowing light and ascend, merging with the white brilliance above, bring up all beings in ascension with you. Abide in the awareness of this union as long as you can.

When your mind is set in motion again, envision yourself magically arise in light-body as the Risen Christ – the Living Yeshua, and with the conscious intention of extending your peace and joy in the world, take up the chant: Eheieh, Hayyah Yeshua. As you chant envision light shining forth from you upon the whole world and all who are in it – and envision the world and all who are in it becoming radiant with Divine Light, as though the whole earth is uplifted into the Pleroma of Light.

Then, when you cease from chanting, if inspired, speak from Pure Being – the Divine I Am, speaking blessings upon individuals and the world, all as the Holy Spirit speaks with, in and through you.

Then, letting go of the Body of Vision, as you depart from the awareness of perfect union, give praise and thanks to El Elyon and pray for the fulfillment of all things – the Reception of the Holy Bride, Shekinah of Messiah, and pray for the continuance of the true Apostolic Succession of Light-bearers on earth until all is accomplished. In completion, dedicate the merit of the practice to all beings – this concludes the Transference of Consciousness Union of the Crucifixion.

*When this method is stabilized you can practice Union with the Sacred Tau.

Union with the Sacred Tau (Shin-Tau)

Meditate upon the Holy Letters Shin and Tau – envision a sphere of white brilliance in the center of your head, and within the sphere of white brilliance envision the letter Shin formed red flaming fire within a Tau formed of black fire. Let your mind rest upon this internal image as the object of your meditation – this alone can bring about the experience of Union with the Sacred Tau.

Going Beyond:

Generate the crystalline light-body with three centers – root, heart and brow (red, gold and white, respectively, and with the three channel-ways; then envision the Shin-Tau formation in the Brow Star.

Take up the chant: Sha-Yah-Na Ta-Oa-Vey, and envision the black fire of the Tau leaps up out the top of your head, shooting forth to magically become the image of Christ on the Cross on the top of your head, the base of the cross resting in your Brow Center. Thus, at the base of the cross there is a ruby red Shin within a center of white light, the Tau having become the image of the Cross above your head. (The image of Christ on the Cross is as before, with the Great Sphere of White Brilliance above the Christ-bearer on the Cross).

Now, take up the chant: Sha-Ka-Yah-Na Ma-Sa-Yah, and as you do envision that a ray of light shoots down from the image of Christ on the Cross striking the letter Shin, and envision that the letter Shin sends forth a ruby ray through the central channel down to the Root Star, activating the fiery light-power in the Root. Envision the ascent of the fiery light through the central channel and as it passes up through the Spiritual Sun in your heart envision the Sun blazing forth with many light rays; as it reaches your Brow Star envision that the fiery-light transforms the Shin into itself and see this fiery light shoot up into the Sacred Heart of Christ on the Cross.

Then, take up the chant: Ah-Ha-Yah Ani-Ain, with the Holy Desire of self-offering, and as your do, gather yourself into the Spiritual Sun in your heart, and into the fiery light in the central channel; let Root, Heart and Brow dissolve as you ascend as the Fiery Light into the Sacred Heart of Christ on the Cross – you become the Christ-bearer on the Cross.

The visualization of the Mount of the Skull and assembly of beings is as before, but as you bless them take up the chant: Yah-Ha-Va-Ha Ah-La-Ha-Yah-Ma, and envision the Fiery Light, along with the Diamond Light from above, streaming out of your Sacred Heart upon them.

When all is gathered into your Sacred Heart, then as before, merge with the Sphere of White Brilliance, but taking up the chant: Yah-Ha-Ah.

As in the previous union, envision that you arise as the emanation of the Risen Savior giving blessings, but with the chant: Ya-Ha-Va-Sha-Ha.

Then bring the practice to completion as before – this is the conclusion of Union with the Sacred Tau.

(These are the essential instructions for Union with the Sacred Tau.)

*These practices are an extension of the Continuum of Union with the Holy Master and therefore us the same integration practices as that continuum – in the extension of the continuum, however, there is a deepening of one’s active service and actual self-offering whenever possible, grounding the Union of the Crucifixion.

May we be blessed and empowered to take up our Cross and follow in the Way; Amen.

Greetings Tau Malachi,

Is this cross of light similar to the Kabbalistic Cross above to below and left to right, or is this a 3 dimensional cross, above below, east to west, and north to south with the center residing in the heart? or is it something else?

many blessings!

Solar Cross

Greetings!

Yes, this cross is envisioned similar to the Kabbalistic Cross; at times, however, initiates of the Order will envision this cross arising from the intersection of a cross of light on the ground, and that cross will be within a circle of light.

Shalom Tau Malachi,

Thank you teacher, in the above quote you mention generating your sacred heart of love and compassion, and, in my view, these clearly point to Hesed.

this is interesting, in the attributes you give in Gnosis of the Comsic Christ for Hesed, the first attribute listed, from the 32 paths of Wisdom is, "settled consciousness. It is called this because the Spiritual Powers emanate from it as the most ethereal emanations; one emanates from the other by the power of the Original Emanator, may He be blessed."

by settled mind, is this essentially, say, the state of union experienced entering the gap during primordial meditation? or something else?

by Spiritual Powers, this is referencing the Tzaddikim, as Hesed is the "sphere of the Tzaddikim"?, thus, this is a good practice for mind-to-mind contact, receiving initiations, empowerments, wisdom teachings etc.?

Many Blessings Teacher!

Hesed, the Father

#5 Postby Elder Gideon » Thu Mar 08, 2007 5:07 pm

Greetings Mike!

Hesed indeed is a helpful kavannah for the activity of the sacred heart of love and compassion. The patriarch and matriarch of this sephirah are Abraham and Sarah, whose example served all without discrimination of friend, stranger and enemy. As they gave all to all, so also does this attribute of Hesed give all to all.

Much like the sun, which shines on the just and corrupt alike, this attribute knows no difference, seeing all within itself as itself, giving without measure. This is sure sounding quite like Keter, isn't it? It is for this contemplation that your quote from the Thirty Two Paths of Wisdom, describes Hesed emanating 'spiritual powers' "by the power of the Original Emanator"--Keter, manifest as Hesed 'below the Abyss'. The spiritual powers may indeed by likened to Tzaddikim; they also feel like the seven sephirot of construction. To these seven, Hesed is to Malkuth as all the sephirot are to Keter.

For this reason, there is a reposed, all-giving quality Yeshua ascribes to the partzuf "Father" (Abba). The Gospel of Phillip has much further to say about this principle, likening the great power of conceiving a child to ease and repose. As men are unchanged in every way when compared with a woman in whom a child is conceived, so also is the partzuf Abba likened to the masculine as Imma--Mother is likened to the feminine; She is changing and He never changes.

Both of these qualities we see in our exerience. We also are constantly changing physically, emotionally and spiritually, while an aspect far deeper is changeless--even sinless and deathless. When our mind indeed is settled and reposed, what we can watch is thought arising as naturally and spontaneously as it will dissolve. "Settled Consciousness", therefore is exactly as Yeshua describes the Father, perfectly reposed in Being: "I do only what I see my Father doing." The spiritual principle of Father, like Hesed, is so deeply profound and so near at the same time, accessible when we simply let go and let be.

The Cross of Light of which you were inquiring then, seems to point to the mystery of how to BE in the midst of Becoming, how to unite changelessness with change. Words can only point to this experience, yet they point to a truth we can feel the moment we simply let our mind settle in its own intrinsic nature.

You might consider looking into Tau Malachi's post today on the Father of the Prodigal Child; its insights into Hesed and the Sacred Heart are well-woven with your questions!

May we find rest in our innate goodness.

Blessings and Shalom!

Compassion: The Sacred Heart

#6 Postby Tau Malachi » Thu Mar 08, 2007 6:36 pm

Salutations!

Well spoken Elder Michael.

On the Tree of Life the Sefirah Hesed is said to be “Keter below the Abyss,” for just the Keter is inseparable from Ain Sof and receives the influx of Ain Sof, so Hesed is said to be inseparable from the Supernals, receiving the influx of the Supernals; likewise, just as all of the Holy Sefirot emanate from Keter, so all of the Sefirot below the Abyss emanate from Hesed – the Mercy of El Elyon, God Most High. Thus, the “spiritual powers” that emanate from it are the Sefirot below the Abyss, of which it is the most ethereal, the most subtle and sublime; the power of the Original Emanator is, of course, the power of the Supernals within Hesed, the Holy One of Being.

Perhaps to the extent that the holy tzaddikim or apostles are vehicles of the Supernal Chrism, and bear the shefa and ruhaniyot of the Supernal Sefirot – the power of the Mystical Body of the Risen Christ, they might be contemplated as the spiritual powers emanated by Mercy-Hesed. Likewise, in that Hesed is the Mercy of God, the liberative power, and the tzaddikim and maggidim God sends forth into the Entirety are as rays of the Mercy of God, again we may contemplate them as spiritual powers emanated by Hesed. Yet, all tzaddikim and maggidim are not of Hesed, and while most may have a root essence from the seven Sefirot of Construction, some enter who bear a root essence from Da’at and the Supernals, thus some are as spiritual powers from beyond Hesed, as we witness with the holy neshamah of Yeshua Messiah.

In terms of the contemplation of the Sacred Heart and the Tree of Life, at the outset there can be a bit of confusion regarding this, for in the system of interior stars Netzach and Nogah are attributed to the Heart Star, and Tiferet and Shemesh to the Throat Star; yet, in speaking about the Sacred Heart, the Sanctuary of the Heart – always the masters of the tradition point to Tiferet. The various layers of esoteric meaning of all of this could, no doubt, fill an entire volume all by itself, but perhaps here we might point out the most essential foundation behind this teaching.

On the Tree of Life, the Sefirah Tiferet-Beauty, is the Heart of the Tree, connecting with all of the Sefirot directly, save Malkut; if we study and contemplate the text from the Thirty-Two Paths of Wisdom, quite distinctly what it is has to say relates to the function of the Sacred Heart – “bestowing this influx upon all blessings, which unify themselves in its essence.” However, more essential is the attribute to Tiferet of Rehamim-Compassion, which is the union of Mercy-Hesed and Judgment-Gevurah; though we may speak of the love of God manifest as the Sacred Heart, the foundation of that love is compassion, and in terms of the holy tzaddikim and maggidim it is by way of compassion that they enact the love of God – by way of the union of Mercy and Judgment, heaven and earth. In other words, their love is not the vain sentiment of the would-be mystic, but is an uncontrived, natural and spontaneous response to what is happening, exactly as it is happening – one that arises from the Wisdom of Love; thus, in the dance of the Shekinah of Messiah, the Holy Bride, the tzaddikim may arise in peaceful, blissful or fierce countenance, all of which have their root in compassion and love, the desire for the enlightenment and liberation of all. Thus, the contemplation of Tiferet as the Sacred Heart is central in our school of Christian Kabbalah – that Heart of the Tree of Life, which is the Messiah of God, the Spiritual Sun of God.

This is well illustrated by the Order of St. Michael within our lineage, an “Order of Knights Templars,” which has clear suggestions of the Sacred Heart operating through Mercy and Severity – for as with all of the Holy Orders in the lineage, this Order has its foundation in the Sacred Heart of Christ.

Here, perhaps, we may speak something of an “open secret,” for it is well known that the Seventy-Two Names of God have their root in the Great Name and that they are the expression of the spiritual power of Tiferet – the power of Vau (6). The very first of these names contains two Vau joined by He – the two Vau are the Six Sefirot of Zer Anpin manifest in Mercy and Judgment, and He is the Holy Shekinah, which may appear peaceful or wrathful. These Divine Names, of course, are given at the parting of the Red Sea, during a liberative interplay of Mercy and Judgment, the passage way representing the Middle Pillar, the central power of which is Tiferet, or more truly Rehamim-Compassion. According to the masters of the tradition, these Names of God are the active powers of the Sacred Heart of Christ, the Human One of Light, and they are the active power of the rite of baptism, mystical death and rebirth.

(The Seventy-Two Names of God represent the twelve powers of the twelve saviors spoken about in Pistis Sophia – six names being attributed to each tribe or archetype of the Human One.)

Speaking about spiritual powers contained in the Holy Sefirot, I suspected you might enjoy this flirtatious contemplation…

Abiding in the Sacred Heart, the nature of which is Rehamim, may we be empowered with all manner of skillful means; amen.

Blessings & shalom!

72 Names of the Sacred Heart

#7 Postby Elder Gideon » Fri Mar 09, 2007 11:06 am

This is quite stunning, Tau Malachi, for the word 'Chesed' itself (ChSD, 8+60+4) ennumerates 72; wherever then there are equivalencies in Hebrew words or phrases, we know an intimate and inseparable relationship is present. Chesed and the 72 Names are a unity, saying as much about the liberative force of Chesed as the Sacred Heart--the Christ Center Tipharet--from which these 72 Names ray out.

The 72 Names are derived from three lines of scripture describing a liberative miracle; Pharoah and hosts upon hosts of Egyptians are in pursuit of the Children of Israel who can advance no further, blocked at the shore of the Red Sea. Wonder of wonders!

19 Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in front of Israel's army, withdrew and went behind them. The pillar of cloud also moved from in front and stood behind them, 20 coming between the armies of Egypt and Israel. Throughout the night the cloud brought darkness to the one side and light to the other side; so neither went near the other all night long.

21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the LORD drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, 22 and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left. (Exodus 14)

With regard to the Order of St. Michael then, how may templars contemplate the 72 Names in the context of this moment in Exodus and the pure grace, the Chesed, from which the Names are derived?

Sword in the Hand of God

#8 Postby Tau Malachi » Fri Mar 09, 2007 4:43 pm

Greetings Brother Michael+!

A delightful observation my friend…

Yes, indeed, the word Hesed equals seventy-two; as all of the spiritual powers of the seven Sefirot of Construction are contained in Hesed, then so also is the spiritual power of the Seventy-Two Names of God, which are as rays of the Spiritual Sun, Tiferet.

These Names of God are of Rehamim-Compassion, the union of Mercy and Judgment, for they bless and sanctify what is good and true, and they banish and shatter klippot – the husks of impurity, shades and shadows; thus there are like a two-edged sword.

The very first name of the seventy-two contains an allusion to this, one found to be quite significant by initiates of the Order of St. Michael. The name equals seventeen, which may be viewed as Yod (10) and Zain (7): Yod means “hand” and Zain means “sword,” and esoterically this name is taken to mean “the hand of God bearing a sword.” The noble ideal of the sword is, in fact, not judgment, but rather *justice*, which is founded in *compassion*, the balance of judgment and mercy, or the mitigation of judgment; the purpose of the sword is to maintain *peace*, or to bring peace – hence the outcome of true justice.

Of the Seventy-Two Names of God we may say: Their purpose is to bring peace, and in the Christian Kabbalah we would also say their purpose is to bring joy; hence, the peace and joy of the risen Messiah, the Spiritual Sun of God. Hallelu Yah!

(Speaking of this holy mystery of these Names of God as a sword in the hand, one cannot help but reflect upon the Great Angel of the Lord in the Apocalypse speaking to the “Seven Churches of Asiyah” – the one whose tongue is a sword of flashing fire coming forth from the mouth, the speaking of the Living Word.)

Cleaving to the Risen Messiah and Shekinah of Messiah, and envisioning and intoning the Names of God, may we be empowered to shatter all klippot and to uplift all holy sparks, reintegrating all into the Light Continuum; amen.

Blessing & shalom!

Shabbat Shalom Tau Malachi and Companions!

I am in awe of how through the Gospel of Yeshua Messiah there is a call to our own gospel of liberation. I am intrigued how Christ is revealed in each of us uniquely. In this passage of the Acts of John, it appears we are seeing something of John's gospel playing out through his spiritual experience. In looking to understand what is transpiring, am I seeing an illustration of the Threefold Sanctuary? I'm referencing the ‘Gnosis of the Cosmic Christ’ (p. 207-211) to contemplate this further.

On the cross of wood hangs Yeshua in flesh and blood. This is visible to the eyes of those present to this physical act. In faith, cleaving to this do we have the Outer Sanctuary: Yeshua Messiah, the Gospel of Yeshua and the Gnostic Circle (the disciples)?

Yeshua, John’s tzaddik, appears in the cave in a vision to John during the crucifixion. A cross of light appears with Yeshua Messiah not on, but above it. This is an inner experience that only John could see with inner knowing (gnosis). Is this the Inner Sanctuary: tzaddik (righteous one holding the reflection of the indwelling Christ of the disciple; Bridegroom or Logos; the descending force of the serpent power), the great angel (divine image of the union of the Bride and Bridegroom), and the Holy Bride (the Holy Shekinah, Sophia, below; the ascending force)?

Is the Secret Sanctuary held here by Yeshua Messiah, the Great Revealer: truth body, glory body and emanation body in messianic consciousness?

It is a wonder how the power and stillness of what Yeshua Messiah has opened up and how accessible this is to all who cleave to him, regardless of the amount of faith.

May Mother Sophia awaken the daughter in many through the Bridegroom to become the Bride in the Threefold Sanctuary of Grace!

Bevan.

Logos, the Lord, and the Man

Feast Day Shalom to you, brother!

May the blessings of the balance of light and darkness—equinox—keep you in the company of the Bride of the Lamb!

Your insights from the Acts of John regarding mysteries of the Three-fold Body are lovely. I too have felt this and your question allows for a closer look at the very conclusion of this sacred teaching from the Risen Savior to the “Beloved”:

The first then that you must know is the logos, then you shall know the Lord; and thirdly the man, and what he has suffered.

When I saw this last line from the Savior, I suddenly recognized our teaching of the Three-fold Body. Logos is the Truth Body. The Lord is the Glory Body. The man is the Emanation Body.

Everything that is comprehensible, intelligible, and interconnected, every adaptive and creative movement of living beings from, in, and within their environment are all expressions of the Logos. There is no appearance or place of the Logos, being the ground of everything in relationship. This is a wondrous way to contemplate a dimension of the Body of Truth.

The human soul is a threshold and transition between everything infinite and finite. Any overwhelming sense of this great mystery is in and from the soul. A movement of angels and God’s Presence is in and from the soul. Revelation of worlds within worlds of the World-to-Come is in and from the soul. The Lord is the revealer from within one’s soul, the Body of Glory.

What we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands (1 John 1:1), is a physical appearance of intention aligned with the origin, through whom the origin flows as (in the perfect words of Rumi) “an ocean pouring through a drop.” From a collective dream, the man is one awakened in a Body of Emanation.

Let the Body of Emanation remind you of the outer sanctuary of the holy people of Yeshua who was in this world, drew in, held and anchored this mystery with their bodies in history.

Let the Body of Glory remind you of the inner sanctuary of the holy people of a living Tzaddik who is in this world to preserve and innovate this mystery in continuous revelations.

Let the Body of Truth remind you of the secret sanctuary of the One who Is-to-Come whom you alone can fully know face to face, even as you’re fully known (1 Cor. 13:12) in your origin.

Kodesh! Kodesh! Kodesh!

Who Was, and Is, and Is-to-Come!
