The Forty-First Names

The Forty-First Name of Gevurot: He-He-He

This Holy Name equals 15, which is the number of the Divine Name of Yah, Hokmah at the level of Atzilut; thus, this Holy Name is an extension of the power of Yah, the Yod becoming two He joined to the third.

The Kabbalah says that all creation is founded upon the Wisdom-Hokmah of God, and Hokmah is called Reshit, “the beginning”; the Holy Torah and Gospel of St. John both begin with the words “In the beginning” (Bereshit), which means in Hokmah-Wisdom. Thus, according to the Torah, in Wisdom God said, “Let there be light,” and according to the School of St. John, in Wisdom-Hokmah “the Word was with God and the Word was God.”

This Holy Name is the extension of Yah – the speaking of the Word of God, generating the Olamot of Beriyah, Yetzirah and Asiyah; in this Holy Name of God is the knowledge and power of the Supernal Light within and behind all that appears, and the knowledge of the mysteries of Ma’aseh Bereshit, the Work of Creation.

In the Great Name of Yahweh the two He are the Upper and Lower Shekinah; according to the masters of the tradition, these three He in this Divine Name correspond to the knowledge and power of the Shekinah Consort of the Messiah in Threefold Body – the Shekinah of the Body of Truth, Body of Glory and Body of Emanation. Thus, the knowledge and power of the Great Gesture enacted through these three dimensions of the Mystical Body of the Messiah is in this Name of God.

There is also another mystery in this Holy Name – it is the mystery of Elohim or the Shekinah as Maiden, Mother and Grandmother, the threefold expression of the Divine and Sacred Feminine.

As you might deduce by what has been said, this is a very lofty Name of God, and yet it is down to earth – for on the most simple and practical level, if you go within and open to the Holy Light of God from above, and you invoke this Holy Name, in that very instant you will experience the Divine Light within and all around you, and the Holy Light that is above you will know to be everywhere below.

This is a Holy Name that swiftly restores our connection with the Divine Light – the Holy Spirit and Holy Shekinah; if and when the necessary conditions are present, and we abide in holiness, and we call upon this Name of God, the Shekinah comes to rest upon us and the Holy Spirit moves with, in and through us.

In this you may know and understand that this Holy Name holds the empowerment for the generation of spiritual self-worth and the Holy Remembrance of the Divine I Am in us – the Light of the Messiah.

Now in the tradition this is also a Holy Name we intone in many practices for the binding and banishing of powerful forces of darkness or klippot: Ho-Ho-Ho, Ha-Ha-Ha, Peh-Peh-Peh, Isah, is a chant of banishing in many wrathful emanation practices, and this Holy Name is joined to other intonations as well for the purpose of driving out darkness or evil. Thus, in this Holy Name is the power of wrathful emanations of the Holy Shekinah subjugating and destroying klippotic forces – naturally so, for in the Divine Light all shades and shadows cease to exist.

If you find yourself plagued by apparently powerful shades and shadows – as you do when you walk into a dark house at night, just turn the lights on! Such, exactly, is the power of God in this Holy Name.

A Meditation with the Name: Lights On

Whenever you remember yourself in the Human One of Light (Messiah), go within and cleave to the Human One of Light and open to the Holy Light from above – this is the very essence of the Divine life in the Messiah.

Abiding in the Holy Remembrance of the Light of the Messiah in you, envision the Spiritual Sun in your heart and envision your body as the Glory of the Sun of El, and envision the whole world and all that is in it self-radiant with the Glory of the Messiah – envision all as in the Light Realm.

Then, chant Yah Yahweh Yeshua Adonai, and having chanted, unify Elohim with El – then intone the Name: Ha-Ha-Ha, and so abide in union with Hayyah Messiah, abide in the Holy Light of the Messiah and in the company of the Holy Shekinah, and rejoice in the presence of Yahweh, worshipping Yahweh Elohim.

In fruition celebrate a Holy Wedding Feast – this completes the movement.

This is the practice.

Another Meditation: Invoking Kallah Messiah

Take up a practice of Union with the Holy Bride, and as the Holy Bride take up a practice of Union with Hayyah Yeshua – in the Union of the Groom and Bride intone the Holy Name: Ho-Ho-Ho, and as you do pass into the Clear Light as in the End-Of-Days, witnessing the end of all darkness and evil, abide in the Perfect Repose of the Bridal Chamber.

When you arise from repose in the Bridal Chamber, go out into the world as Kallah Messiah, walking in beauty and holiness as the Anointed Bride extending the Light of the Messiah to one and all alike.

All that you see, see as the Holy Palace of your Beloved – as though the Bridal Chamber; all that you hear, hear as the Word and Voice of your Beloved Consort; all thoughts and emotions arising receive as the innate wisdom display of your Divine Consort, the Living Word – this is the Holy Seal of the practice and the completion of the movement.

This is the practice.

*This is a practice known to initiates of the Order of St. Mary Magdalene.

**This is also a Holy Name called upon for the practice of the consecration of a Sacred Tree of Imma-Elohim in the Order of St. Mary Magdalene – a sacred ceremony performed on the full moon in celebration of the Holy Mother.

A Practice among the Navim: Wrathful Emanation Vanquishing

When a holy tzaddik or navi sees the influence of powerful shedim (demons) they may arise in Body of Light in Wrathful Emanation, and calling upon this Holy Name of God they will vanquish the shedim.

They will initiate a continuum of invocation and worship, and when the Holy Spirit moves them they will generate their Body of Light in Wrathful Emanation as the Great Maggid of the Messiah in the Judgment.

They will join their soul in ascent to the Middle Pillar, and then invoke the full force of the Pillar of Judgment – manifesting the Aura of Consuming Fire or Pillar of Fire about them, and they will take up the fierce dance in the astral, going to the abode or center of activity of the shedim without fear, rejoicing in the Shekinah of Yahweh Elohim manifest in Judgment.

*Coupled with this, when very powerful shedim are to be bound and banished they will invoke the force of the twenty-two oath-bound wrathful guardians of the Continuum and move with their full force – the wrathful guardians become as their hosts.

When they arrive, having ridden upon the wings of the winds like a great thunderstorm, they will take up the chant of the Holy Name:

Yo-Ha-Ha-Ha-Vo-Ho-Ho

Then they will thunder the Holy Name: Ha-Ha-Ha, and they will add Ho-Ho-Ho, Yah-Mah-Za, and as they do this they will envision the vanishing of the shedim with the power of their tongue of flashing fire, glaring gaze, gestures of arms and wings throwing fire, shattering stomps, and flames of fire from breath going out of their nostrils as the emanation of the Wrathful Maggid.

When all is said and done, and they return to their body, they will enact a tikkune or healing ceremony, and they will perform a Holy Wedding Feast, praying that all sparks are uplift in the Great Resurrection and Ascension. This completes the movement.

This is the practice.

Angels of the Name

Hakmiel, (“k” is Kuf), Hatzaftziel and Hosha’iel are the angels of this Holy Name; they are from the order of the Ashim – they are brilliant shining ones that bring delight to the righteous, but are fierce flames of fire to the wick. They hold secret knowledge of the light of the heavens and fire of the hells – that spiritual substance that the Great Serafim emit during their worship in the interior Shekinah of Yahweh.

This concludes our sacred discourse on the Forty-First Name of Gevurot through the manifold blessings of El Elyon. Hallelu Elyon – Praise the Supreme! Amen.

The Forty-First Name of Hasidim: Ayn-Vau-Lamed

The energy-intelligence of actions are as the garments for the energy-intelligence of speech, and the energy-intelligence of speech is as garments for the energy-intelligence of thought; the energy-intelligence of thought, in turn, forms garments for emotional and desire energy, the radiance of the will – when this flows from knowledge, understanding and wisdom, and is in harmony with the Divine Light, then it is godly and it is good, the light of our soul shines within us. However, when our will, thought, speech and action does not flow from knowledge, understanding and wisdom, and is not in harmony with the Divine Light, then it is ungodly and is the generation of negativity, and in effect, the light of our soul is not in us.

In this Holy Name is the power to restore the flow of our will, thought, speech and action from our Habad – hence to uplift our consciousness and restore our harmony with the Divine Light; calling upon this Holy Name we restore the light of our soul in us.

Now, this world is, indeed, dominated by admixed and dark forces, and yet, nevertheless, angelic and divine beings are constantly coming and going, moving among us; the visitations of the faithful and the compassionate by the angels of God is fairly common, though most may be unconscious of their contact with angelic and divine beings. Calling upon this Holy Name can help us become conscious of contacts with angelic and divine beings, whether in the subtle environment around us in waking consciousness or contacts that occur in our dreams.

This is also a Name of God that initiates invoke to deepen their awareness and spiritual connection with their Root Tzaddik and Heart Tzaddik – their teacher and guide. The flow of teachings and energetic transmission from a holy tzaddik to their spiritual companion, whether a living tzaddik in the present or a holy one of the past, is completely dependent upon the level of awareness and strength of the spiritual connection generated by their companion. Thus, in the play of discipleship it is good to generate a greater awareness of our holy tzaddik and generate a deeper heart connection with them, for what we are able to receive from them is found upon the quality of sacred friendship we create; likewise, as our awareness of our holy tzaddik increases and our bond grows, so also does our awareness of our Inner Tzaddik – the Light-presence (Messiah) and Light-power (Holy Spirit) in us, for the Outer and Inner Tzaddik are one and the same living presence and power.

Along with this there is another mystery and power in this Holy Name – in much the same way that we can experience ivurim with the souls of tzaddikim or holy ones, and be uplifted to receive greater knowledge, understanding and wisdom, so also can we experience something similar with the maggidim or angels of God; we can experience influxes of their emanations, as though melding with them in communion.

This is reflected by a prayer of Adonai Yeshua recorded in the Gospel of St. Philip:

On the day of thanksgiving prayer he said, “You who have joined the Perfect Light with the Holy Spirit, join the angels with us as a single image.”

The power to commune with angels of God in this way is within this Holy Name.

A Meditation with the Name: Elevating Consciousness

When you wish to elevate your consciousness and restore the flow of your desire and emotion, thought, speech and action from the knowledge, understanding and wisdom of your soul, turn to the Holy One in prayer and commune in the presence of the Holy One – then, study and contemplate the Holy Scriptures, that or contemplate spiritual teachings you have received from your tzaddik, and then call upon this Holy Name; in that instant your Habad will be restored and your consciousness will be uplifted.

Ai-Vo-La

This is the practice.

A Practice among the Navim: Union with Angels

Study and contemplation of the Holy Torah and Gospel, prayer and meditation, sacred ceremony, along with spiritual discourse and fellowship – this attracts the angels of God; so also, acts of loving-kindness and charity, and all good works performed for the sake of heaven and the glorification of God – angels draw near all who live in service to heaven, for they are true siblings to them.

In this way, anyone and everyone can entertain a communion with the angels of God – and whether conscious or unconscious, living the Divine Life in this way, all who do will experience visitation and contact with the angels.

Calling upon this Holy Name, unconscious visitations and contact can become conscious, and yet more, calling upon this Holy Name our communion with angels can go far deeper and become more intimate – we can experience union with the emanations of the angels.

When a daughter or son of the navim seeks a more intimate communion with the angels, tending to the spiritual continuum that attracts them, let them purify and prepare themselves as in the way of seeking the experience of ivurim with the souls of the holy tzaddikim or saints – then, on the eve of Shabbat, after the reception of the Shekinah, let them seclude themselves, and let them call upon Ha-Shem and the Divine Powers, manifesting the fullness of the Shekinah, and let them include the invocation of the archangels and orders of angels of the Holy Tree of Life.

Then, let them sing the Shema and bowing down let them intone Yahweh Yeshua, and then Yahweh Elohim Tzavaot; then let them intone the Holy Name:

Ai-Va-Lo

As they do this let them hold the conscious intention of receiving an angelic influx – and receiving, let them commune and receive teachings and inspiration from the maggid.

*When the communion begins the initiate must not remain bowed down, for we do not worship the angels of God, and neither do they tolerate those who seek to worship them.

In fruition, worship in the presence of Ha-Shem and pray for all your relations – this completes the movement.

This is the practice.

*This is not a practice for the novice, as until there is sufficient self-purification and the generation of merit deceiving spirits could easily be attracted and are more likely to come than the angels of God.

Angels of the Name

Ain’ Tzaliel, Vayasiel and Levtemael are the angels of this Holy Name; they come from the order of Principalities and hold secret knowledge of the interaction of the law and grace.

This concludes our sacred discourse in the Forty-First Names of Gevurot and Hasidim through the blessing and empowerment of the Spirit of God. Hallelu Yah! Praise the Lord! Amen.

O Holy One, we praise and bless Your Good Name, and we pray for the reception of the Holy Bride, the Second Coming of the Messiah! Amen.

Blessings & shalom!

Ayn-Vau-Lamed

#2 Postby Elder Gideon » Fri Oct 21, 2016 7:46 am

Shalom Tau Malachi:

Your teachings here on Divine Names are always surprising, even after revisiting them.

I hear a pattern of how Ayn-Vau-Lamed can restore the flow of our will, thought, speech and action from our Habad – hence to uplift our consciousness and restore our harmony with the Divine Light and even facilitate experience ivurim with the souls of tzaddikim or holy ones, and be uplifted to receive greater knowledge, understanding and wisdom. In a word, Ayn-Vau-Lamed elevates consciousness.

What I love about this direct mystery is for the word Ayn-Lamed, Ayl, על, that is a preposition in Hebrew for above, beyond, and upon. It features so importantly in the what is maybe the most mysterious Divine Name: El Elyon: אֵל עֶלְיֹֽון: God Beyond: God Above: God Most High.

That this Forty-First Name holds the two letters of this word, flanked by a Vav. These same three letters appear in Most High, Elyon, עֶלְיֹֽון. This inclines me to ask what more may be said to deepen our contemplation of this Name Ayn-Vau-Lamed for its Vav inside על, being the same letters in Elyon?

Gratefully,

Elder Gideon

Blessings to you in the Holy Light of the Messiah, the Anointing!

If you consider it, “above,” “beyond,” indicates mystical ascensions of the soul, aliyat neshamah, and this Holy Name may also be invoked for this intention, as a prayer, invocation, for an experience of soul ascension, an ascent into the heavens and beyond, into the palace of the Messiah in the Supernal Abode - the heaven of heavens.

There are three ways of aliyat neshamah. First, as we know from the Book of Enoch, maggidim, angels, can carry the soul in ascent. Likewise, tzaddikim who have the spiritual gift of aliyat neshamah can merge with souls and uplift them in ascent, elevating them into experiences of the heavens and beyond. Then there is the gift of aliyat neshamah from the Holy Spirit, the capacity to shift the soul into a body of light, or glory, and ascend through conscious volition to sojourn in heavenly realms as one wishes and as God wills it. This Name of God may be invoked as a prayer for any of these ways of mystical ascent.

There is, though, something more in this Name of God. Through calling upon this Holy Name and meditating upon it an initiate might realize their transcendence, specifically if holding the conscious intention of “going beyond beyond,” and the aware of an endless evolution of the soul, being-consciousness, into the Infinite, the One-Without-End (Ain Sof).

As you have drawn out, truly, this is a Holy Name of going beyond, and as perhaps you might imagine there is knowledge of mysteries of the Ascended Messiah, or Great Ascension, in it; certainly so!

May many souls be uplifted to the Most High this day and remember their origin in the Pleroma of Light, Atzilut! Amen.

Shalom Aleichem!

The Forty-First Name of Gevurot: He-He-He

#4 Postby Elder Gideon » Sat Oct 14, 2017 11:16 pm

Shalom Tau Malachi:

This Name has enchanted me ever since seeing it. There's no struggle ever to remember or Yod-Yod-Yod, another Name of Gevurah, as both of which share protective, banishing kavvanot.

I hoped to join what you've further said of this as the mystery of Elohim or the Shekinah as Maiden, Mother and Grandmother, the threefold expression of the Divine and Sacred Feminine with something said in the Gospel of Phillip: Three Marys walked with the Lord: His mother, his sister, and Mary of Magdala, his companion. His sister and mother and companion were Mary.

It arose in prayer and contemplation since your Shabbat discourse last week on the Name YH and the letters VH something you'd already written here years before: This Holy Name is the extension of Yah – the speaking of the Word of God, generating the Olamot of Beriyah, Yetzirah and Asiyah; in this Holy Name of God is the knowledge and power of the Supernal Light within and behind all that appears, and the knowledge of the mysteries of Ma’aseh Bereshit, the Work of Creation.

What is most timely in this Name coincides with your describing how Yah concludes the Essential Name EHYH and begins the Great Name YHVH. Together, the Essential and Great Name form a Name of six letters, spanned by three He. Praise the One. Indeed the threefold body in a whole new light since your discourse last Shabbat! Praise the One!
