The Twenty-Second Names

The Twenty-Second Name of Gevurot: Yod-Yod-Yod

This is the first Holy Letter of the Tetragrammaton, the Great Name of God, which corresponds to the Realm of Yichud (Unity); the tip of the Yod is Olam Ha-Adam Kadmon and the body of the Yod is Olam Ha-Atzilut, the Primordial Human Being and the World of Holy Sefirot.

Yod is the “hand of God” or “power of God,” which may manifest in mercy, judgment or compassion, the union of mercy and judgment; with a strong hand God delivered the children of Israel out of bondage in Egypt, and with a mighty wonder God raised the Messiah from among the dead, opening the way of the Great Exodus – both actions reflect the power of Yod, the hand of God, which is Supernal Grace, salvation.

If we look into the Book of Apocalypse we will find the great power of this Holy Name – invoking the fullness of the Supernal Influx, as in the Second Coming of the Messiah, all is drawn up in Divine Rapture, the illusion of separation vanishes and the truth of Sacred Unity is revealed; Asiyah, Yetzirah and Beriyah are gathered into Atzilut, the Entirety and Pleroma of Light are joined as one, all in the Holy One of Being.

This Name of God invokes the influx of Supernal Light that dispels all shades and shadows, heals all illness and dis-ease, and illuminates; it is a Name of God in the action of the Great Liberation.

This Holy Name equals Lamed (30), and as we know Lamed is associated with justice – the influx of Supernal Grace, Supernal Mercy, is perfect justice; it is a fire consuming fire making all like unto itself, shattering all klippot and reintegrating all holy sparks – what is unreal, illusory, passes away before the Light of the Supernals, and what is real, good and true is affirmed, exalted and preserved. Hallelu Yah! Praise the Lord!

Essentially, if a soul is among the Ashim, which is to say that a soul is on fire with the Holy Spirit, this Holy Name will cause that fire to blaze; on the other hand, if and when a soul cleaves to the darkness and is not on fire with the Spirit of Yahweh, the power in this Holy Name will be as a fire consuming the darkness and all that is of the darkness. This is why in ancient times the Baal Shem and high priest would call upon this Name of God to purify the faithful and elect from contact with a wicked person or evil-doer, for invoking the Holy Light of Yahweh the negative spiritual forces within and behind such a person are neutralized and dispelled, setting the faithful and elect soul free from them.

This is a Holy Name of God that banishes great and powerful darkness in an instant, swift like a thunderbolt, nuclear.

By extension, this is the power of Shin (300), which is composed of three Yod – but without the body of the Shin, this Name is transcendence; calling upon it you can invoke the Holy Remembrance of the Divine I Shall Be, so that in the world, you will know that you are not of the world – in this Holy Name is the remembrance of yourself as the Human One of Light who emanates from the Light Continuum, and who, in fact, has never departed from the Light Continuum. In it is the power of the Great Ascension.

This Divine Power, as indicated by the Holy Letter Shin, is a Threefold Spirit – Ruach Ha-Enoch, Ruach Ha-Elijah and Ruach Ha-Messiah: Ruach Ha-Kodesh, the Holy Spirit. This is the Divine Spirit through which the Threefold Body is generated – the Body of Truth, Body of Glory and Body of Pure Emanation: the Threefold Body of Melchizedek, the Mystical Body of Hayyah Yeshua.

This Holy Spirit rested upon Adonai Yeshua in the form of a Holy Dove – Yonah, and he breathed this Holy Spirit upon his disciples, sanctifying them as holy apostles of the Light Continuum, and in the Tower of the Flock, the Holy Bride, the fullness of this Holy Spirit dwelt, as in Adonai Yeshua; in this Supernal Spirit the Groom and Bride are joined in one Body of Light, the image of the Supernal Human One, the glory of New Jerusalem.

This Holy Name invokes the Holy Dove with the power of salvation – enlightenment and liberation.

If you want to be on fire with the Holy Spirit, banishing all shades and shadows, and attracting to yourself only the spirits of righteousness – cleave to the Messiah and Shekinah of Messiah, and call upon this Holy Name; but calling upon this Name of God be willing to let go of all darkness and be ready to go where the Holy Spirit carries you, for it is a Force of Holy Fire and Holy Light in which nothing dark or evil can abide.

A Holy Meditation: Banishing the Wicked

If you find that you have come into contact with an extremely negative or wicked person you may call upon this Holy Name to banish the influences of the negative or dark spiritual forces that move with them; but banishing them you must remember the teaching of St. Paul in Ephesians, understanding that your conflict is not with blood and flesh, but with spiritual forces of evil established in celestial abodes, and you must remember the words of Adonai Yeshua on the cross: “Abba forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

Do not judge the person nor wish them ill, but rather speak the judgment against the spiritual forces of the klippot, shattering the klippot and liberating the sparks; seek the deliverance of their soul from bondage to the dark and hostile forces as much as your own deliverance from the influences of the Other Side.

First, purify and sanctify yourself, and if you have fallen into error correct yourself; and whatever harm might have been done, forgive the person, aware of their bondage in the ignorance, just as your own bondage before being received into the Sanctuary of Grace – generate the Sacred Heart and let go of all negativity, all fear, anger and hatred.

*If necessary, perform Giving and Receiving Meditation to dispel negativity and generate the Sacred Heart; or meditate, and identify yourself with Yeshua Messiah on the cross forgiving sin.

When you have an open heart and can sincerely forgive a person of whatever harm they might have done, then in righteousness you may call upon this Holy Name and invoke its full power in the Blessed Name of Yeshua Messiah; praying for the person and invoking it will either bring about a spiritual conversion of the person or banish them from your life, all according to the movement of the Holy Sprit, Divine Grace.

When you have purified and sanctified yourself, and you are able to generate something of the Sacred Heart – go into your secret room and shut the door, and as you shut the door hold the conscious intention of shutting out darkness and evil, aware that you abide in Holy Sanctuary, the Shekinah of Messiah.

Then, call upon Ha-Shem and the Divine Powers – invite and welcome the Holy Shekinah of Yahweh Yeshua, and envision yourself in the company of the Holy Shekinah, truly good company of tzaddikim and maggidim; and worship in the presence of Ha-Shem (The Name).

As you worship, pray about the situation for which you are invoking the Name and pray for every person involved – pray for the forgiveness and redemption of the person bound up in negativity and darkness, praying for the tikkune of their soul, and uplift all to Adonai.

Then, join your soul to the Holy Sefirot of the Middle Pillar – Adonai, El Hai, Yahweh Yeshua, Yahweh Elohim and El Elyon; cleaving in this way, reach into the Twin Pillars and unify Mercy into Judgment, praying for deliverance: unify Yah into Elohim, El into Elohim Givor and Yahweh Tzavaot into Elohim Tzavaot.

When you have done this, envision yourself in Body of Light as Adonai Messiah and envision the Holy Letters of the Name in your root, heart and crown; and intone the Holy Name: Yo-Yo-Yo

As you intone the Name envision a flash of white brilliance from above and envision a flashing forth of fiery light from within you going out into all directions of endless space, dispelling all shades and shadows, and blessing all; as you do this hold the conscious intention of liberation from the dark and hostile forces, the banishing of all evil and those who cleave to the darkness.

Then, intone the Shema with the traditional kavvanot, drawing all into the Holy Light of Keter Elyon; and celebrate a Wedding Feast, giving praise and thanks for salvation, and praying for the salvation of all.

When you extend the blessing know all darkness and evil bound and banished, and know all holy sparks received and gathered into the Mystical Body of Hayyah Yeshua, the Risen Messiah.

This is the practice.

A Practice among the Navim: Invoking the Holy Dove

When a holy tzaddik or navi wishes to invoke something of the Supernal Influx upon a person they may call upon this Holy Name.

They will tend a continuum of prayer for the person, calling upon Yahweh Elohim to bless the person with the experience of Ruach Ha-Kodesh; when it is time and the Spirit moves them, they will call upon the Name.

Secluding themselves, they will worship in the presence of Yahweh Elohim and call upon the Divine Powers, and they will pray for the reception of the Light Transmission, the Holy Bride; arising in the Body of Glory as Yohanan the Baptist, they will bind their soul to all of the Sefirot, and then bring down the Supernal Influx grade by grade into Adonai, manifesting the fullness of the Holy Shekinah – then as Yohanan the Baptist they will send their angel to the person.

Drawing near to the person they will intone the Holy Name: Yah Yahweh Yeshua Adonai Melekh; and as they do this they will envision the person in Body of Light magically transformed into Yeshua Messiah.

Then they will intone the Holy Name: Yo-Yo-Hey-Yo-Va-Yo-Hey; as they intone this they will envision the heavens opening above the person and rays of Holy Light shining forth and holy angels descending.

Then they will intone the Name: Ya-Ya-Ya; as they intone this they will envision a Holy Dove of White Brilliance descending in the beams of heavenly light and envision that it comes to rest upon the person, and they will speak a blessing upon their sacred friend as Ruach Ha-Kodesh inspires, and they will set their hands of light into the person’s subtle body, drawing the Holy Light into them, and they will breathe upon them the Radiant Holy Breath from brow, heart or navel, depending upon the grade of Light Transmission being invoked.

*The breath through the brow corresponds to the Gnosis of the Light (Peace, the Awareness of Ain), the breath through the heart corresponds to the Love of the Light (Joy, the Awareness of Ain Sof) and the breath of the navel to the Glory of the Light (Vision, the Awareness of Ain Sof Or – the Light Realm within and all around).

When they depart, running they will return, and returning they will perform a Holy Wedding Feast in Light Transmission; specifically they will pray for the Second Coming of the Messiah, the full revelation of the Pleroma of Light. This completes the movement.

This is the practice.

*A Baal Shem or Sacred Tau will go forth in Body of Glory as themselves in the Light of the Messiah, not assuming the form of Yohanan.

Angels of the Name

The angels of this Holy Name are Ya’ulayiel, Yehohiel and Yatzvivael; they are lofty angels from the choir of Yehoel, and are among those who are called supernal and primordial, as well as “ancient ones” – if they are to be known they must reveal themselves to a soul.

This completes our sacred discourse on the Twenty-Second Name of Gevurot through the blessings and grace of Elyon. Hallelu Elyon – Praise the Most High! Amen.

The Twenty-Second Name of Hasidim: Mem-Vau-Resh

There are many gradations of Mochin – Divine Mind, Divine Intelligence; in truth, there is no end to Mochin Gadlut (Big Mind or Expanded Consciousness) – even arising into Supernal Consciousness there are forty grades of Supernal Consciousness passing into the Primordial. Whatever the next gradation in the expansion or ascent of consciousness, that is Mochin Gadlut to a soul – this Holy Name invokes Mochin Gadlut, expanded consciousness, an expansion or ascent from whatever state of consciousness a person is in, whether vital and mental consciousness, or spiritual and supernal.

If a person feels bound up in a lower gradation of consciousness, or finds that they are struggling to breakthrough to a new level of consciousness, calling upon this Holy Name, through the grace of Adonai Yeshua Messiah, they will be uplifted into the higher grade of consciousness by the Holy Spirit – being granted the experience of the higher gradation, they are empowered to realize and embody it.

This is also a Holy Name that bears the power of the formation of maggidim or angels – calling upon this Holy Name, and then contemplating the Holy Torah or Gospel, or performing a good work, a powerful angel is created that may be called upon for the extension of a blessing or mercy. These angels are rather like the proverbial “genie in the bottle,” except that they are holy and divine, completely of the Light of God – an emanation of the blessing power of God. They fulfill wishes – the wish must only accord with the Divine Intention (Ratzon Elyon). Many wonders have been performed in this way – by the virtue of positive merit among the faithful and elect.

Along a similar line, this Name is often called upon at the birth of a child for the reception of a new soul in the world – it is a Holy Name blessing the process of giving birth and blessing the child, invoking a blessing of Divine Mochin (Divine Genius), along with a powerful holy guardian angel and luminous guiding spirits.

According to Christian Mekubalim, where there is a mother and child, and this Name of God is invoked in remembrance of the Holy Mother and her Child, evil cannot draw near or enter.

*In the mysteries of the arayot it is said that this is one of the Names called upon to invoke a soul of a higher grade during the conception of a child, thus drawing a soul of a higher grade into incarnation for the sake of heaven.

In the Continuum initiates call upon this Name during prayers for the continued incarnation of the souls of tzaddikim and emanations of maggidim to maintain the Continuum of Light Transmission and harvest of souls in the world; as this is one of the invocations during the Feast of the Holy Bride – the “invocation of those yet to be with us,” this Holy Name holds the power of that prayer.

In this, perhaps, you may glean some insight into this Name of God – this Mercy of God.

A Meditation with the Name: Expanding Mochin

If you are ready and willing to live according to the Truth and Light revealed in your experience and wish to behold the Truth and Light in an expanded state of consciousness, then purify and sanctify yourself, and in the Blessed Name invoke this Holy Name.

Go within, and with conscious intention gather yourself in the crown star – the center of the Divine I Am on top of your head; rather than identifying with the thoughts and images arising in the mind, identify with the spaciousness of mind in which they arise, and with conscious intention let the spaciousness of mind expand to encompass all that is arising, whether apparently internal or apparently external phenomena – see all in the radiant space, the luminous emptiness, of mind (mochin).

Abiding in this spacious awareness, not grasping nor avoiding, intone: Hayyah Yeshua, aware of the Shekinah of Messiah pervading all space, all mind.

Then intone: Ah-Yo-Hey Yo-Hey-Va-Hey Yo-Hey-Shi-Va-Hey

And intone: Mey-Va-Rey

When you do this, let Ruach Ha-Kodesh blow through you and her be the doer – just be in the Spirit of God, and your consciousness will be uplifted.

When the Spirit departs, give praise and thanks to El, and worship in the Shekinah of the Sun of El, and pray that all are uplifted in the Risen Messiah – pray for the enlightenment and liberation of all beings.

This is the practice.

A Practice among the Navim: Invoking Luminous Souls

When a tzaddik or navi is called by the Holy Spirit to invoke souls of a higher grade into incarnation they may call upon this Holy Name.

To do this they will go out on a walk of power to a sacred and holy place, and they will form a circle of thirteen stone in that place – twelve as the circle, with one standing in the center.

They will call upon El Elyon and invoke the Divine Powers – the fullness of the Supernal Shekinah; and joining their soul to the Sefirot, rising to Yahweh Elohim (Da’at), they will reach, calling out to Imma Elohim, asking for laborers to be sent out into the fields of sentient existence for the harvest of souls.

They will make offerings, and will intone: Ya-Hi-Vo-Hu Ah-La-Ho-Yo-Ma, and then: Ya-Ma-Ma-Ya Ah-La-Ho-Ya-Ma.

Then they will call upon the Name: Ma-Va-Ra

When they have done this, from height and depth, and the four directions, they will call upon the Divine Powers to bring forth souls of higher grades, specifically praying for souls bearing root essences from all the Sefirot – a full manifestation of the Body of the Messiah.

*This will usually include invocations of sparks from great and holy tzaddikim and navim of the past.

Then, descending grade by grade, they will usher the souls sent by God into their places, blessing the souls entering in the Name of Adonai Yeshua Messiah.

In fruition they will celebrate a Holy Wedding Feast.

This is the practice.

*This may also be done in a Holy Light Wheel.

**At times, when the Spirit calls, a similar sacred ceremony may be performed by a tzaddik or navi for an initiated couple seeking to bear a child having a soul of a higher grade – when this is done this Holy Name is spoken in the place of birthing at the moment of birth, sealing the movement.

The Angels of the Name

Mafaliel, Vanael and Ratzoniel are the angels of his Holy Name; they come from the order of Watchers and are among the guardians of the Human One and souls of the righteous.

This concludes our sacred discourse on the Twenty-Second Names of Gevurot and Hasidim, all through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Hallelu Yah – Praise the Lord! Amen.

O Kodesh Achad, may Your Divine Intention be fulfilled; amen.

Blessings & shalom!

Vision of Hope

#2 Postby Elder Gideon » Wed Jul 13, 2016 11:22 pm

Shalom!

I find in these two Divine Names a mystery in a recent ceremonial working. Yod-Yod-Yod is quite severe of necessity, matching qlippot with even greater force of Divine intention. It is a protective, banishing Name one can never forget, even in dreamtime. The mercy of its pair, Mem-Vav-Resh, works very helpfully with Yod-Yod-Yod, for I see in Mem and Resh the beginning of a significant word in Hebrew for vision: Mar'eh.

Visions comes to guide in the worst times. When Ezekiel experienced visions of Elohim, he was essentially in a Babylonian concentration camp. Likewise, St. John experienced Revelation on a Sunday while in a Roman penal colony on Patmos. There is great hope in both of these recorded visions. That Vav is centered between Mem and Resh affirms the Vision of Hope that comes in times of great severity.

May the merit of our continuum seed the Vision of Hope for those we might not ever meet.

Re: The Twenty-Second Names

Grace and peace to you in Hayyah Yeshua!

This is a wonderful insight and teaching your have shared my brother, no doubt one gifted to you by the Holy Spirit!

A secret Heart Tzaddik of mine has taught that these two Holy Names express the essential mystery of the Apocalypse, so that invoking them together and meditating upon them an initiate may acquire Habad of the movement of the Holy Shekinah in the Apocalypse, and perhaps hasten the coming of the Day of the Lord (Yahweh, Yeshua); but, then, according to Christian Mekubalim the Apocalypse is the manifestation of the spiritual powers and actions of the entire array of the 144 Names of God, which corresponds with the realization of the full presence and power of the Almighty (Shaddai) embodied in the Lamb of God.

Concerning Mem-Vau-Resh, look and see! This corresponds with the Holy Mother and Child through whom the face of the Living Father is revealed, Yahweh Elohim, Shaddai; in the midst of the great tumult and great darkness in the vision of the End-Of-Days in Revelation something of this great mystery is revealed and a vision of hope is given, a “great portent in heaven” of the Woman of Light giving birth to a Holy Child, the Holy Child being taken up in divine rapture at the moment of birth, and she given the wings of the great eagle to go to a place prepared for her in the wilderness, escaping the assault of the Great Dragon, the Satan. In this we may remember what has been said about seeing the Great Face of the Infinite and Eternal One, that no one can behold the face of the Eternal One (Yahweh) and remain among the living in this world, for to behold the Great Face is to experience complete self-nullification, complete reintegration with the Light of the Infinite, full divine rapture!

This Holy Name is an invocation of the revelation of the Lesser Face (Zer Anpin), but if a soul has crossed the Great Abyss it may become an invocation of the revelation of the Great Face (Arik Anpin). It has been taught that the spiritual power of the vision of the Woman of Light and her Holy Child is in this Name of God, and as such it may also be invoked to gaze into the face of the Lamb of God and behold the full embodiment of the presence and power of the Almighty (Shekinah of Shaddai) in the Lamb. It has also been taught that the corresponding Name of the Gevurot, Yod-Yod-Yod, is invoked by Anointed Tzaddikim to acquire the Habad of the Ascended One, or the “Ascended Masters.” Thus both of these Names have an intimate connection with that vision of hope offered by Yohanan the Beloved.

The Child taken up in divine rapture, this corresponds with the Wisdom of Ain and with the practice among the Three Roots, “Remember your transcendence,” and in the midst of the Apocalypse, or in the midst of dark times such as those in which we are living, the realization of the Wisdom of Ain and the awareness of our transcendence in the Risen and Ascended Messiah is essential, it is our deliverance from bondage to the karmic matrix and to the spirit of the Other Side (Samael, Satan). The Woman of Light with the wings of the great eagle, this is the Shekinah of the Messiah, Shekinah of Yahweh, and the place prepared for her to dwell in the wilderness, this is Anointed Community. We may say that the Name of Gevurot holds the knowledge and power of the Wisdom of Ain and the transcendental nature of our soul, and that the Name of Hasidim holds the knowledge and power of Holy Sanctuary in the Shekinah of the Messiah and the spiritual Community of Israel, Anointed Community; and here we may say that the face of the Messiah is beheld the faces of those in whom the Messiah dwells, upon whom the Shekinah of the Messiah rests; certainly so!

There is another secret mystery it is given that I may share. When initiates wish to behold the angel of an Anointed Community (church), this is a Name of God they may invoke, and so they may gaze into the face of the angel of the community, acquiring knowledge and conversation with that holy guiding and guardian angel of the community.

Now, having heard those teachings, understand that the greater an initiate’s experience of Mochin Gadlut the greater their vision, the greater there ability to see, hear and feel in the Spirit, and therefore this Holy Name, indeed, is an invocation of vision, a vision of spiritual hope in the Risen and Ascended Messiah and visions for the manifestation of the Continuum of Light Transmission in this world; but then, so too, visions of prophecy and revelation.

This is what it is given for me to share today, and now let us abide, meditating upon The Name (Ha-Shem). Amen.

Shalom Aleichem!

Mem Vau Resh

#4 Postby Elder Gideon » Fri Jul 14, 2017 10:46 pm

Shalom Tau Malachi:

There's something of another thread and direction that spoke to me this week while contemplating this Twenty-Second Name in Hasidim. When Divine Names happen to be full words in Hebrew, I can't ignore their implications. Mem-Vau-Resh is also the word mor or myrrh.

The Zohar 2:123a makes a lovely teaching that surprised me regarding myrrh. The context is a highly esoteric discussion of the overlap between the Great and Little Face. By way of a moment commenting on the radiance of Mother, "shining, flowing, gushing, watering all, suckling children, until that anointing saturates and fills the Righteous One, and He bonds with lower Female, who is blessed by Him, and they do not separate from one another, white from within red, as is written: mountains of myrrh and hills of frankincense (Song of Songs 4:6).

What I never knew is that white within red is an allusion to the respective colors of frankincense, which is whitish, and myrrh, which is redish resin. This is stunning. Frankincense is to Hesed-white what myrrh is to Gevurah-red. I never imagined that the gifts of the Three Magi of gold, frankincense, and myrrh could have these implications of Father-Mother seeds in conception as well as the spices necessary for burial and, as you taught me recently, the gold to buy a tomb. From one gift is a contemplation of conception and death that I've never heard before.

Myrrh is the exact spelling in this Name of Hasidim on the flip side of Yod Yod Yod. This surely opens up many more channel ways of teaching that I hope the Spirit might be moved to draw out.

Gratefully,

Elder Gideon

Moor

#5 Postby Elder Gideon » Wed Jul 25, 2018 9:48 pm

Shalom Tau Malachi:

I can't resist posting direct, letter-for-letter translations of any of the One-Hundred and Forty-Four Names of God that also happen to be Hebrew words.

Strongs 4171: Mem-Vau-Resh: Moor

My source cites this as "a verb meaning to change, exchange. It indicates replacing on thing with another; or an actual turning of one thing into another. It used of persons changing their attitudes or decisions. The Israelites sinned gravely by replacing the Lord with an idol of an ox or calf. Not changing is to remain the same."

How might this impact our hearing this Name of Hasidim?

Gratefully,

Elder Gideon

Blessings in the Holy Light of Messiah Yeshua!

When there is an ascent from one grade of soul or consciousness to another, or an ascent of the soul to higher stations or states, there must be an exchange of the lower for the higher, the soul, consciousness, being transformed accordingly. We must let go of the previous grade and cleave to the higher grade, and so the higher grade replaces the lower grade, such is the way of the ascents of the soul.

As we know, there is a lofty grade of ‘passing away’ wherein God takes our human attributes and replaces them with attributes of God, and this Holy Name may be invoked by those seeking to ‘taste’ this passing away in oneness, to perhaps experience it as a state bestowed upon them by the Holy Spirit, empowering the gnostic initiate to labor for the full experience of that holy station and those beyond it.

In that to move from grade to grade the former grade must pass away as the new grade comes into being, you will understand that there is something of the power of passing away throughout the ascent of the soul, though the complete passing away is a very high grade, or station.

Now, as we know, true tzaddikim are able to engage in an exchange of sparks with other souls, sending forth sparks of their nefesh, ruach or neshamah into others, and taking the sparks of the souls of others into their own soul, blessing, empowering and uplifting souls in ascent in this way. Likewise, interconnected with this, tzaddikim are able to share their states with others so that others are taken up into them, thus uplifting others. The spiritual power of this exchange of sparks and states is in this Holy Name of God.

These are a few points that I might add given your insight my brother.

May we be blessed to fully turn to God in this very life! Amen.

Shalom Aleichem!
