The Twenty-Third Names

The Twenty-Third Name of Gevurot: Mem-Lamed-He

The very essence of the Holy Gospel, and indeed all authentic spirituality, is the generation of the Sacred Heart – unconditional love, boundless compassion; it is love and compassion that constitutes an authentic human being, and it is through love and compassion that we grow to become Christ-like, resembling the Divine.

This is well known by all of us who aspire to the spiritual life and who seek to sojourn the mystical path, the Path to Enlightenment; and, yet, setting out upon the path we swiftly find ourselves struggling to be loving and compassionate – we encounter a great force of resistance and opposition to love and compassion, both from within ourselves and from our environment. On the one hand, our own selfishness and vital passions pose a great resistance, the desire to receive for self alone opposing the desire to give; and we find our heart encrusted with a klippah of pain and grief in vital reaction to not getting what we want or not getting our own way in the midst of a world in which virtually everyone is struggling with one another to fulfill their own self-interests and selfish ambitions, often at the expense or to the detriment of others around them. On the other hand, given this tendency pervading the collective – the world, there is equally a great force of resistance and opposition to love and compassion in our environment, and there are powerful psychic and spiritual forces of admixture and darkness within and behind this tendency that do not want to see the light of love and compassion shine in the world, for they wish to keep souls in bondage to their dominion.

Indeed, wherever the light of love and compassion shines it is as though great forces of archons and demons rush in seeking to extinguish that holy flame – we may consider the fate of many prophets and holy people who strove to brings forth greater love and compassion into this world, only to be met with violence and put to death, and we may consider religions espousing doctrines of love and compassion turned into justification for terrible violence and evil in the world; the crucifixion of Adonai Yeshua and the use of the Gospel to incite “holy wars” and grievous persecutions is, no doubt, among the most glaring examples of all – virtually unbelievable were it not recorded in the books of our history for all of us to see.

The force of resistance to the Holy Light is within us and it is all around us – a force of resistance that is all too real in our experience; in this Holy Name, however, through the blessing and grace of God in it, is the power to let the holy flame of our love and compassion be kindled and to let our light shine in the world, and in it is the power to bind and banish forces of opposition that arise seeking to extinguish the fire of the Holy Spirit in us.

Spiritual love and compassion is the very essence of all spirituality – the very essence of the Human One and the Divine; thus, those spiritual forces of admixture and darkness that arise against the generation of the Sacred Heart seek to extinguish the Flame of the Continuum – they seek to destroy the Matrix of Faith, pervert the Community of the Faithful and Elect, and to prevent the manifestation of the Continuum of Light Transmission. Thus, this Name of God is invoked by initiates for the guardianship of the Continuum of Light Transmission – it is invoked to subjugate or destroy any spiritual forces that arise to oppose and prevent the extension of the Divine Light.

In the same vein, this is also one of the Holy Names that holds the power of the wrathful guardians of the Continuum, and in it is the power for the generation of angels of wrath – the emanation of the angel of the Holy Shekinah in fierce form, shattering klippot and liberating holy sparks.

Contemplating the wrathful guardians you may recall the great kerubim that guards the path to the Tree of Life – this Holy Name is also invoked by initiates to acquire secret knowledge of the Fruit of the Tree of Life, which grants eternal life and divine illumination; hence, knowledge of the peace and joy in the Risen Messiah, and insight into the Mystical Body of the Risen Messiah, which is the Supernal Sefirot.

This is a Holy Name of powerful guardianship, but also of great revelation.

A Holy Meditation with the Name: Kindling the Threefold Flame

Faith, hope and love, this is the Threefold Flame that burns in the heart of the faithful and elect, and it is this that brings knowledge, understanding and wisdom – Habad; if and when it seems as though the spiritual forces of the klippot are seeking to extinguish this Holy flame in you, all the more cleave to your faith, abide in your hope and extend the love of the Messiah to others – call upon this Holy Name and let your light shine.

First, whenever you see your faith, hope or love compromised, go within and seek to work out the cause of the obstruction within you – purify yourself of inner klippot and intensify your worship of the Beloved, opening yourself to the Divine Light from above and surrendering yourself to the Holy Spirit; reaffirm your self-dedication to El, and to the Messiah and Shekinah of Messiah.

As you do this, seek to extend the Light of the True Cross – the Light of the Gospel, and seek to share the spiritual knowledge and wisdom that has been given to you with others; but most especially seek to love others in your life and to engage in active compassion, tending to the well-being and welfare of others on all levels, material, psychic and spiritual.

Essentially, do whatever you can to live your faith and bring more light and love into the world.

To empower yourself in this, and to bind and banish forces of opposition, call upon this Name of God:

Go into your holy sanctuary or before your holy shrine, and go within, opening to the Holy Light from above, and call upon the Holy One and the Divine Powers to bless and empower you, and join your soul to the Sefirot of the Middle Pillar – cleave to the Messiah and Shekinah of Messiah, and perform a meditation of union with Hayyah Yeshua (Union with Partzuf).

As you envision Hayyah Yeshua before you, remember his self-offering on your behalf and remember his call to love – let your heart and mind open to the love of the Messiah, the Light of the Messiah, and pray and commune in the presence of the Risen Messiah.

Then, envisioning your union with Adonai Messiah and assuming the appearance of the Messiah in your Body of Light, intone: El Elohim, and then intone: Yahweh Yeshua.

Having activated the Holy Name in this way, intone the Name: Mey-La-Hey

As you intone the Name, envision brilliant rays of light streaming out of your Body of Light as Hayyah Yeshua – light streaming out into all directions of endless space, all shades and shadows being driven out, vanishing in that very instant.

Then, as Yeshua Messiah arisen, perform Giving & Receiving for all beings as taught in the tradition.

In fruition, give praise and thanks for the Sanctuary of Grace and worship in the presence of El Elyon – pray for all beings and dedicate the merit generated to all beings. This completes the movement.

This is the practice.

A Practice among the Navim: Tasting the Fruit

When a son or daughter of the navim wishes to taste the Holy Fruit of the Tree of Life let them purify and prepare themselves, and let them call upon this Holy Name.

Let them purify themselves from new moon until the full moon, and on the day of the full moon let them go out at predawn and, wrapped in their holy mantle, let them worship in the presence of El Elyon beneath the heavens in the great outdoors; let them ascend and descend, drawing down the shefa of the Holy Sefirot and manifesting the fullness of the Holy Shekinah.

Then, let them intone the Shema with the traditional kavvanot, with a special focus upon the love of Yahweh and love of their neighbors, desiring the blessing and illumination of all spirits and souls.

Then, let them bow down and unify Yahweh and Elohim:

Ya-Ah-Hi-La-Vo-Hey-Hu-Yo-Mey

Remaining in the prophetic position let them intone the Holy Name:

Yo-Mey-Hey-La-Va-Hey-Hey

And then let them intone the Name:

Ma-La-Hu

When they do this, let them hold the conscious intention of the opening of sight into the World of the Sefirot, and let them gather their consciousness into the brow center, with their brow touching the earth – at the end of the chant let them abide in this way in hitbodedut; if and when their mind moves, or their heart runs, let them return it to the Place.

If Ruach Ha-Kodesh comes upon them, let them follow her inspiration; but if nothing transpires, let them conclude with praise and thanksgiving, and with the extension of blessings to the people and the land. This completes the movement.

*A Holy Wedding Feast may be added to this.

This is the practice.

The Angels of the Name

Mzakhiel, Lelael and Hochaniel are the angels of this Name; they come from the order of the Ofanim and hold knowledge of the many streams of Light Transmission in this world, as well as knowledge of their guardians.

This concludes our sacred discourse in the Twenty-Third Name of Gevurot through the good grace of God. Hallelu El – Praise God! Amen.

The Twenty-Third Name of Hasidim: Shin-Bet-Alef

According to the masters of the tradition those who remember and keep the Continuum of the Holy Shabbat receive a double portion of the soul on that holy day, akin to the double portion of manna the children of Israel received in the wilderness of the desert on the day before the Holy Shabbat. If and when a faithful person remembers and keeps the Continuum of Shabbat, calling upon this Holy Name, they can receive a double portion of soul on other days of the week and the empowerment of sight into the World of the Holy Spirit – the power to receive a double portion of soul is in this Holy Name.

This Name also holds the power of the blessing of Elijah upon Elisha – a double portion of Ruach Ha-Elijah, the Spirit of the Prophets; as we know, ultimately this promise of Elijah to Elisha was fulfilled at the Sacred Jordan between Yohanan and Yeshua – thus in this Holy Name of the power to invoke Ruach Ha-Messiah, and secret knowledge of Messiah Melchizedek.

This is also a Holy Name that tzaddikim or apostles call upon to reveal mysteries of the Sanctuary of Bet El – it is a Name of Recognition and the Passing of the Mantle.

What does it mean to receive a double portion of soul in the Christian stream? It is the reception of an influx of your soul as it is on the Day of Be-With-Us (or World-To-Come), your soul as it is in the Messiah joined with sparks of the Soul of Messiah.

Here we may say that to a soul that abides in the Sanctuary of Grace, cleaving to the Adonai of the Holy Shabbat, they abide in the Eternal Shabbat, and every day is Shabbat to them, for they are no longer the doer, but the Messiah and Ruach Ha-Kodesh is the doer; therefore they are at rest, abiding in the repose of the Messiah enthroned. In this is the true power of this Holy Name of God – it is the invocation of the awareness of perfect repose.

Now there is a secret of this Holy Name that it is given that we may share – calling in the Five Winds into Sacred Circle, intoning this Holy Name the power of their essence is gleaned; likewise, if you wish to know the unity of the Winds in the Body of Light and the Directions, calling in the Divine Powers and intoning this Name, the Inner and Outer Winds will be joined – great and marvelous wonders have transpired in this way.

Through the blessing of the Holy Spirit we may hint at another secret that initiates will know and understand by way of our hint, though we cannot explain it to one who does not know it already – the Spirit of Yahweh and Spirit of Leviathan (or “Spirit of the Dragon”) are joined as one Divine Spirit by calling upon this Name in Wisdom.

In this, perhaps, you may gain insight into this Holy Name of God.

A Meditation with the Name: Receiving A Double-Portion

Go out to worship in the presence of Yahweh Elohim with the Beni Elohim and the birds of the air in the morning – greet the sun at dawn in remembrance of the Sun of El (the Messiah); as the sun rises before you, let the Spiritual Sun rise within you, and cleave to the Messiah and Shekinah of Messiah.

Join your soul to the Middle Pillar and stand in the Pillar of White Brilliance with the Spiritual Sun radiant in your heart, and with the Serafim in the interior presence and the Kerubim in the exterior presence, proclaim:

Kodesh, kodesh, kodesh Yahweh Elohim Tzavaot!

(Holy, holy, holy is the LORD God of Hosts!)

Then intone the Shema and bowing down intone: Yah Yahweh Yeshua, Yahweh Elohim Yeshua, Adonai Yeshua Messiah

And then intone: Shi-Ba-Ah

As you do this, rise up in your Body of Light and receive your blessing from Adonai, and so you will be blessed with a double portion of soul, the Holy Shekinah will come to rest on you and you will walk in her company, the company of tzaddikim and maggidim.

Walking in beauty and holiness, abide in the peace of the Messiah and be at rest – let the Messiah and Holy Spirit be the doer and you be the Holy Merkavah.

Conclude your worship as inspired.

This is the practice.

A Practice among the Navim: Union of Ruachot-Winds

When a holy tzaddik or navi wishes to join the Inner and Outer Ruachot in order to enact powerful wonders for the people they will go out and create a sacred circle, and calling upon The Name and the Powers, they will invoke the Powers with this Holy Name and the Radiant Holy Breath of God – their very breath becoming the Winds.

What a holy tzaddik or navi speaks in this way will come to pass just as it is spoken.

In a sacred circle that is created in a place of power they will call upon the Name of Yahweh, drawing in the Holy Spirit to the circle, and they will call upon the Name of Elohim, drawing in the Holy Shekinah – and they will unify these Holy Names, and then call upon the Supreme Name of Adonai Yeshua Messiah and El Elyon.

Then, intoning Yahweh Yeshua, in union with Hayyah Yeshua, they will call in the Powers.

In each direction they will intone the Name: Sha-Ba-Ah, placing it upon their breath, and they will breathe the corresponding holy breath and call in the Divine Power of the Direction.

*See the teachings on these breaths in the Order of St. Raphael.

As they do this, they will hold the Serpent Power in repose in the brow.

When all is gathered in – focused in their heart, with Ruach Ha-Kodesh upon them, they will make offerings for the people and the land, and they will speak what shall come to pass through her inspiration.

In fruition they will celebrate the Wedding Feast and if any spiritual companions are with them it will become Light Transmission; so it is with all of the righteous spirits who gather. This completes the movement.

This is the practice.

*At times this practice will be performed in solitude and then the tzaddik or navi will go to enact wonders elsewhere, walking with the Holy Shekinah invoked.

Angels of the Name

Shekyomael, Benzael and Ashvaviel are the holy angels of this Name of God; they are from the order of the Ashim and hold knowledge of the secret worship of the angels of God in all of the orders – they are revealers of ways of mystical and wonderworking worship, gnostic worship.

This concludes our sacred discourse in the Twenty-Third Name of Gevurot and Hasidim through the empowerment of Ruach Ha-Kodesh. Hallelu Yah – Praise the Lord!

O Adonai, may the Continuum of Light Transmission remain in the world until all is accomplished – so may we be blessed to witness the Reception of the Holy Bride; amen.

Blessings & shalom!

The Twenty-Third Names

#2 Postby Elder Gideon » Mon Jul 16, 2018 9:05 am

Shalom Tau Malachi:

Many thanks to God for this beautiful practice "Union of Ruachot-Winds."

I wished to share a lovely mnemonic for these three letters. From the four winds, come! (Ezekiel 37:9):

מֵאַרְבַּע רוּחֹות בֹּאִי: Mearbah ruchot bohi

Shin is the Shekinah, Bet-Alef is the verb Come! Shin-Bet-Alef: Shekinah! Come!

I'm fascinated by an insight into how this Name suports a healing practice in the Order of St. Raphael "Healing of Zelem": the practitioner privately engages the five winds to charge their catching the Radiant Holy Breath before laying hands on one in need of healing.

Something of this Name of Hasidim Shin-Bet-Alef feels so resonant and empowering for breath work for healing and vision, given the two proof texts in scripture that explicitly concern the mystery of winds. From Ezekiel, Prophesy to the breath, mortal, and say to the breath: Thus says Yahweh Elohim: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain that they might live (37:9). From Isaiah,

The spirit of the LORD shall rest on [Messiah],
the spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the spirit of counsel and might,
the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD.
His delight shall be in the fear of the LORD
(11:2).

While the two contexts are quite different, how they overlap through the imagery of winds brings more insight to this Name of Hasidim. Ezekiel describes the Vision of the Valley of Dry Bones, a prophecy of the Lord resurrecting slain righteous ones. Isaiah describes a vision of the Davidic line generating the Messiah, a prophecy of His vivifying presence and power.

If one is called to work with this Name of Hasidim, it appears that the simple kavvanot shared fold beautifully from a contemplation of these two proof texts of YHVH's healing—even resurrecting—power by way of these holy winds.

Praise the One for such power to heal and make whole, rebirthing one from above.

Grace and peace to you in Hayyah Yeshua, the Risen Messiah!

There is something of an open secret, the knowledge of which is assumed in what has been shared of this Name of God. The giving of God’s breath to Adam, the Human Being, is the imparting of something of the Essence of God, and is light and life - true being, true existence. Understand, this breath of God breathed into ‘Adam’ is not a singular event, but in fact it is an ongoing event throughout the entirety and duration of creation, the cosmos; hence, God is continually breathing life, light, existence into all creatures, understanding that Adam contains all of the Names of God and the spirits, souls, of all creatures. There is, in effect, a determined number of ‘breaths’ for each incarnate thing, each sentient being, and this corresponds with the length of life, the duration of existence in incarnation, and as mystics and gnostics understand, each breath comes from Yahweh Elohim, the Eternal God, and is the manifestation of Ruach Elohim, the Spirit of God. Within your very breath, and breathing, there is something of the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, and when this is recognized and realized there is distinct Divine Power in breath, and in the speech and action that is manifest through it.

Concerning the anointing of the Messiah, such was his anointing that he was, is, the Holy Spirit, the fullness of the Holy Shekinah becoming manifest as him; hence, Ruach Yahweh, Ruach Elohim. This too is the realization of the great mystics and gnostics, the prophets and apostles of God, all according to their grade or station and the revelation of God to them, through them and as them, though indeed the realization embodied in Messiah Yeshua is of an exalted grade or station beyond all other prophets or apostles; hence the titles ‘Son of Man,’ ‘Son of David’ and ‘Son of God’ - the Great Seth.

Here perhaps we may recall the Perfect Master breathing upon the disciples in the upper room and conveying the fullness of the Holy Spirit to them - God breathed upon them!

Now, within the practices, devotions, that have been shared, understanding the teachings of the Straight Path, one may inquire: ‘Who is breathing?’ Likewise, just as an initiate may seek to see with God, hear with God and feel with God, so they may seek to breath with God, seeking to realize that it is God breathing. If indeed this realization transpires the corresponding states will manifest, and so great signs of God may be made manifest, great wonders of Shaddai, the Almighty.

Concerning the word ‘come,’ understand the ‘coming of the Messiah,’ or ‘coming of the Shekinah,’ corresponds with revelation, or a greater unveiling or self-disclosure of God, and that ‘to come’ is ‘to pass by.’ Thus, ‘Shekinah, come’ is an invocation of unveiling or self-disclosure, and as you might imagine, masters among the gnostics, or the great tzaddikim, who have the power of unveiling and self-disclosure may invoke this Holy Name when they intend an unveiling or self-disclosure; hence, when they intend an initiation, the communication of something of the knowledge and power of their spiritual or supernal realization. Apart from this, of course, having knowledge of this Name of God it is an invocation, prayer, among initiates for the ongoing unveiling and revelation of God to them, but taking it up let them cultivate the divine attributes, and pray and pray and pray, and invoke often, and let them be kind, enacting what is good and true. If indeed they do, God will surely answer their invocation and prayer, and the Shekinah will ‘come.’ Praise God!

Shalom Aleichem!

Sheba

#4 Postby Elder Gideon » Wed Jul 25, 2018 10:02 pm

Shalom Tau Malachi:

I can't resist posting direct, letter-for-letter translations of any of the One-Hundred and Forty-Four Names of God that also happen to be Hebrew words.

Strongs 7614: Shin-Bet-Alef: Sheba.

My Hebrew Dictionary cites: any of three sons so-named of: Joktan, a descendant of Seth, Raamah, grandson of Cush, and a descendant of Ham, Jokshan, the son of Abraham by Keturah;

or of course the southern Arabian nation, famous for their queen.

Sheba is a homophone when spelled with Ayin instead of Alef:

Strongs 7650 when the last letter Alef is an Ayin: "an oath"
Strongs 7651 when the last letter Alef is an Ayin: "seven"

How might this impact our hearing this Name of Hasidim?

Gratefully,

Blessing in the Holy Light of the Messiah!

Sheba indeed! Perhaps you may recall that teachings in the Zohar concerning the Queen of Sheba as the “Daughter of Seven,” corresponding with Malkut, and more specifically Nukva-Daughter, the interiors of Malkut. As we know, Malkut is attributed King David, but then also King Solomon, and when Solomon it represents a completely auspicious manifestation of Community of Israel, and with it the Holy Shekinah manifest in full glory and power; the Queen of Sheba visiting Solomon, this implies the fullness of the Shekinah, Malkut receiving the full influx of the upper Sefirot - hence, ‘Daughter of Seven.’

In this you may understand a secret mystery of this Holy Name hidden in plain sight, for it is a Name invoking the fullness of the Divine Presence, Holy Shekinah, Holy Spirit. If invoked in the welcoming of the Queen of Shabbat, so special blessings may flow, great movements of the Shekinah, Holy Spirit, may transpire, if and when it is done through divine inspiration, or with passionate zeal and cleaving; hence, when not done on a whim or in vain.

As you might intuit, this Holy Name is also invoked by those seeking the revelation of secret mysteries of the Holy Spirit, Holy Shekinah.

Now, if interpreted not as ‘seven’ but as an ‘oath,’ understand that this Holy Name corresponds with the spiritual power of the ‘Oath of God,’ as in, “Yahweh has sworn and will not change his mind…” (Psalm 110:4). This corresponds with a most esoteric mystery within this Holy Name, venturing into something of the secret of secrets that only God Most High can reveal. Here, though, we may say that this is a Name of God for merging with the Holy Shekinah, passing away, and entering those stations and states beyond, such as Abiding, Being, Truth, and so on; if one who is a knower of God and has reached ‘passing away,’ abiding, invokes this Holy Name, so the power of ‘Oath’ may manifest with them, and as them, and the promise of the Great Oath as recorded in the Holy Scriptures will be fulfilled in them. In this, perhaps, you may understand that this is a Holy Name associated with the Gnostic Apostolic Succession and the Supernal Habad that reaches beyond the highest grade of prophecy.

Remember, the 72 Hasidim are given to us and come into full effect with the coming of the Messiah, and as such we may understand that each contains special knowledge and power of the Messiah, deep mysteries of the Anointing of God.

These are a few further things it was given to me to share.

May there be an outpouring of the Anointing this day - Sha-Vo-Ah! Amen.

Shalom Aleichem!

Yashav

#6 Postby Elder Gideon » Sun Aug 05, 2018 9:19 am

Shabbat Shalom, Tau Malachi:

I'm finding in the first two letters of this Divine Name a host of directions regarding being seated, resting, dwelling, and so forth. We know that the noun is the same as the verb to rest: shabbat (Strongs H7673). We also know that to return is shuv (H7725), as in the root of teshuvah. For this reason, I feel in the primitive root yashav (H3427) translated as sitting, resting, dwelling, etc. can participate in this Divine Name Shin-Bet-Alef that inspire my contemplations of the One who rests in believers', the makom where a heart returns from its running. There's something about the principle of repose and enthronement that fascinates me here.

What more might you add to the related meanings of words where Shin-Bet are together, here followed by an Alef?

Gratefully,

Elder Gideon

Grace and peace to you in Hayyah Yeshua!

If you consider it,’ Oath of God’ also indicates ‘Promise of God,’ and as we know the essential promise of God to the spiritual Community of Israel is that the One God would be their God, and would lead them into the ‘Promised Land.’ As we know from our reception of the Messiah and Gospel, this ‘Holy Land’ - kingdom of heaven, is not of this world, but is of the World-To-Come. As perhaps you may remember, the World-To-Come is also called the Eternal Shabbat, and we may say that this Name of God alludes to this, and we have hinted at this in things we have shared, so that initiates may understand that this Holy Name might be invoked for glimpses, tastes, of the knowledge of God in the World-To-Come, or Eternal Shabbat.

A glimpse or taste of the knowledge of God in the Eternal Shabbat corresponds with something of the double portion of soul that might be drawn upon, not only on Shabbat, but any day of the week for those who have the realization of nearness, and yet more oneness with God, the Absolute Light.

Concerning ‘enthronement’ there is something to understand. While, indeed, there is the reality of ‘seated’ and ‘rest,’ there is something much more implied by this term and symbol. You may recall that the Lamb of God is enthroned at the ‘right hand of the Eternal One,’ Yahweh, and likewise you may recalled the supernal elders, great apostles, who were seen enthroned in the vision of Yohanan the Beloved. This implies the bestowing of Sovereignty or Lordship, an inmost station to which a soul can be exalted by God Most High, El Elyon. There is some secret mystery of this within this Holy Name of God, and for sake of the revelation of that secret mystery it may be invoked, but it cannot be invoked with any wish for a bestowal of that most lofty grade or station of Lordship, for that is a station for God Most High to give as God wills and ordains, not to be requested or strived for by any living spirit of soul. You see, it corresponds with the pinnacle of supernal grace.

If it true, of course, that anointed tzaddikim - true gnostics, knowers of God, do hold an ordination as a priest-sovereign of the Order of Melchizedek, but that is not the station of Lordship. The supernal station of Lordship is alluded to by the holy apostle who wrote the Letter to the Hebrews when he called the Messiah the ‘high priest’ of that Holy and Divine Order, this hinting at the actual station of Lordship.

May we be blessed with the certainty of knowledge, vision and truth concerning the Holy One and the World-That-Is-Coming! Amen.

Shalom Aleichem!
