Elishamael: God Is Hearing God

#1 Postby Tau Malachi » Fri Apr 26, 2013 8:02 am

Elishamael: “God Is Hearing God”

This is an archangel from the order of the hashmalim, “speaking silences,” who is a messenger to souls of shifting winds or directions in the sacred circle of life, and of times and seasons of the Holy Spirit. At times our walk in life corresponds to a direction of the sacred circle, east, south, west or north, as is known, and there are times when a change in direction comes. As an example, we might be walking the direction east, corresponding with new beginnings, inspirations, illumination and such, but suddenly the winds of life shift and we find ourselves walking in a different direct, such as west, corresponding with dying and death, introspection and the like; Elishamael is a messenger and a guide at these times. Likewise, there are times and seasons in the movements of the Spirit of God, or in works of the Spirit, and very often when special gifts or inspirations of the Spirit come to a person or community they come only for a time, a season, and then may come to an end. Elishamael holds knowledge of these “times and seasons.”

As we know, the Holy Spirit is within and behind every movement throughout the Great Matrix of Creation, in heaven, on earth and in the nature sphere, and so it is that this great angel of God has knowledge of this, and may reveal the intention of the Spirit of God (Ruach Elohim) in any movement or action, all as God (El) ordains. Joined with this Elishamael has knowledge and discernment of the spiritual forces through which the Spirit of God moves and acts, and therefore can reveal the spiritual forces, whether angels, archons, demons, or any other spirit or power, within an action or movement in creation. On account of this, Elishamael is called a “namer of spirits,” and in that the name of a spirit holds the power of the spirit, so is this holy angel of God a knower and giver of powers to those who serve the kingdom of heaven.

When the Messiah emanated from the Pleroma of Light and appeared on earth and in heaven, so there was a great shift in the winds with many souls and angels, and as we know it was a great movement of the Spirit of God. Without hesitation Elishamael received the Spirit of the Messiah and heard the Gospel, and ministered to the Messiah, and so received his/her supernal essence, becoming a messenger of the Gospel of Truth, a guide in the change of directions of spirits and souls returning to God and entering the gate of the true kingdom of heaven. In this Elishamael is a great teaching and guiding angel of God who is very skillful in bring about hearing of the Gospel, or “liberation through hearing.” As you might imagine, with the dawn of the Second Coming of Christ in Glory, so now Elishamael is among the messengers of the New Gospel, the Living Word speaking in our age.

As we know, even among the faithful and spiritual aspirants there are many who are hard of hearing as yet, filled with false preconceptions, preconditions and expectations of the Second Coming, and so this is an archangel often invoked to open ears, or hearts and minds, to the Gospel of the Second Coming, and so to the greater manifestation of the Holy Spirit in the Second Coming – the Supernal Anointing.

Most often this is an angel that manifests as a great radiant presence, formless, but at times he/she may appear like a heavenly man or woman, radiant with heavenly and supernal glory, seemingly formed of the most subtle, yet brilliant, translucent light. When invoked the Name of Yah and Yahweh are frequently called upon, joined with the Blessed Name, and one of the chants given for this angel is: Al-La-Ya, Al-Ya-Shu-Ma-Al.

Messiah Shalom!

Greetings in the Light of the Holy One!

“This is an archangel from the order of the hashmalim, “speaking silences,” who is a messenger to souls of shifting winds or directions in the sacred circle of life, and of times and seasons of the Holy Spirit....Without hesitation Elishamael received the Spirit of the Messiah and heard the Gospel, and ministered to the Messiah, and so received his/her supernal essence, becoming a messenger of the Gospel of Truth, a guide in the change of directions of spirits and souls returning to God and entering the gate of the true kingdom of heaven.”

This year it seems to be good to get acquainted with Elishamael, as it has been spoken of as a year of shifting directions and leaping. There seems to be great resonance with this angel's labor. That he/she is an archangel from among the hashmalim feels strongly connected to our meditation sessions. I hear in this an emphasis on meditation as an importent tool to help us grow in periods of sudden change and as a good instrument for “leaping”. Much gratitude for the teachings on right meditation that were shared in the latest Shabbat discourse.

I am also grateful for what more could be said about Elishamael's connection with meditation, any corrections and others thoughts on this!

Shabbat Shalom,
Martina

Grace and peace to you in Hayyah Yeshua, the Risen Messiah!

You are most welcome for those teachings. I’m happy to hear they were of some help. That discourse had been on my mind for weeks, and eventually the time came to share those thoughts, just reminding of the simplicity of meditation; hence, the virtue of just being, awake and alert in the Living Presence (Shekinah).

Elishamael is a most intriguing angel. Naturally, we can’t help but notice the name of Elisha in this angel’s name. If we look into the name Elisha, joined with the esoteric meaning given in this teaching, it can mean, “God of deliverance,” “God is a savior,” “God is rich,” “To whom God gives victory” (or “salvation”). All of these meanings, and their implications, have a correspondence with emanations of this holy angel of God, an angel with deep understanding of the Gospel and salvation, as has been shared above.

Indeed, anytime there is a mention of a hashmal there always seems to be an implication of deep prayer and meditation, and nearness to the Holy One; and it is true, this is an angel that inspires deep prayer, meditation (hitbodedut), and that is swift to come to those who go within and live within to minister to them, revealing to them profound mysteries of the Holy Gospel. When one studies and contemplates the Gospel, and mediates upon what one has contemplated, calling to the Lord that Elishamael might be sent, so it may come to pass; but aside from our invocations, such things transpire spontaneously if we will engage in study and contemplation of the mysteries of the Gospel, and meditate upon them, resting in the Shekinah of Messiah, allowing ourselves to me moved by Ruach Elohim and the angels.

In a year of shifting directions, and leaping, there is no doubt Elishamael is among the angels one might invoke for insight and spiritual assistance, and naturally, as we aspire to do every year, laboring to evolve our capacity for prayer and meditation is good; through deep prayer and meditation we will never be lacking the answers or revelations we seek, for even when we encounter silence it can “speak volumes,” as the saying goes. The hashmalim certainly remind us of this.

If you contemplate the various meanings of the name Elisha, which is in this angel’s name, you may discern further dimensions of knowledge and power held by this angel of God.

Shalom Aleichem!

Greetings in the Light of the Holy One!

Thanks be to Ma for what more has been shared about Elishamael!

“If you contemplate the various meanings of the name Elisha, which is in this angel’s name, you may discern further dimensions of knowledge and power held by this angel of God.”

Contemplating the name Elisha further I found that the second part of the name comes from the Hebrew verb ישע (yasha'), meaning to be saved or delivered. This verb is closely related to the noun yeshua, salvation. This close relationship between the names Elisha and Yeshua reminds that it is taught in our tradition that the soul of Elisha reincarnated as Yeshua to fulfill its mission of sharing the Gospel.

It seems no coincidence that Elishamael received and took up the message of the Gospel so swiftly:

“When the Messiah emanated from the Pleroma of Light and appeared on earth and in heaven, so there was a great shift in the winds with many souls and angels, and as we know it was a great movement of the Spirit of God. In this Elishamael is a great teaching and guiding angel of God who is very skillful in bring about hearing of the Gospel, or “liberation through hearing.” As you might imagine, with the dawn of the Second Coming of Christ in Glory, so now Elishamael is among the messengers of the New Gospel, the Living Word speaking in our age.”

Could we imagine this angel as a spark of the soul of the Messiah, being so close to him? Or as an expression of neshamah, being also at this level of our soul, ready to receive the Gospel and to shift with it?

Shabbat Shalom,
Martina

Grace and peace to you in Hayyah Yeshua! Amen.

Perhaps you might recall the man who was born blind that Yeshua healed in the Gospel of St. John, the one of whom it was said that his blindness was not the result of the karmic continuum of his soul, nor that of his family, but rather that he incarnated and was born blind to bring glory to God. Obviously such a soul was one of a very lofty grade to endure such suffering and yet have such a powerful faith in God. Through the story of this man we may understand that many souls of lofty grades incarnated with the soul of Adonai Yeshua to facilitate the revelation of the Messiah and to glorify God Almighty.

There is a teaching in the Holy Kabbalah, “As above, so below; as below, so above.” Understanding the array of souls that incarnated with Adonai Yeshua for the revelation of the Gospel, with this movement of luminous souls below, on earth, so there was a corresponding movement of radiant spirits above, in heaven, laboring among the angels of creation and angels of the archons for the revelation and reception of the Messiah among them.

Although many angels ministers to human beings, bringing insights and illuminations concerning mysteries of the Gospel, angels are not the principle messengers and ministers of the Holy Gospel to human beings, but rather humanity receives the Gospel directly from the Messiah and the Holy Spirit, and the principle messengers and ministers of the Gospel to human beings are anointed tzaddikim, apostles having the knowledge (da’at) and Spirit of the Messiah (ruach). The thrust of the ministry of angels teaching the gospel is in the heavens and the worlds of inner dimensions, astral and spiritual; hence, their principle ministry is for the conversion of spiritual beings and forces, uplifting and returning them to the service of the kingdom of heaven and God.

Elishamael is among the angels who form the matrix for this in the heavens, and in so doing supported the ministry occurring below, on earth, for to bring about a change below, first that change must be manifest above, or set into motion above. In this, perhaps, you may understand that the ministry of angels with humans and on earth has its foundation in a heavenly ministry, and corresponds with shifting the movement and balance of spiritual forces within and behind what transpires in the world. If an initiate were seeking insight into this divine action, Elishamael would be among the angels of God they might invoke, praying for revelation of the mysteries of heavenly ministries among angelic beings, and the array of various intelligences and spirits of creation.

Shalom Dear Tau and Sister Martina,

I am delighted by this conversation on Elishamael, and the additional insights that are given into the labor for salvation.

I am reminded of the sacred unity behind all things and how individual salvation is a misnomer, for it is being heard that before Grace can flow into the material realm, this labor in the spiritual realms must occur, opening the way for not only the flow but also the reception of Grace. And in this, many layers, many realms - humanity and angelic, earth and heaven, are saved together, or find return to the One.

And so while tzaddkim and living apostles are messengers of the Gospel, can we also say that as wonderworkers, they engage in these works in the spiritual realms, opening the way so that the Gospel might be heard and received on earth? Perhaps setting Elishamael in motion in the heavens?

Praise for the Mercy of El, for the labor that brings the message and paves the way for reception!

With gratitude,

Sheryl

Grace and peace to you from Messiah Yeshua, our Adonai! Amen.

It is impossible to separate the divine actions of tzaddikim and maggidim, or righteous ones and angels, for virtually always their prayers and actions are completely interwoven. As we know, angels are ascending and descending between earth and heaven continually, and the tzaddikim walk with the good company of the Holy Shekinah, in the companionship of angels and the spirits of righteousness. Likewise, great tzaddikim have the power of aliyat neshamah, mystical ascensions of the soul into the heavens and beyond, and they also are running and returning between heaven and earth like the angels of God. Understanding this, you will understand that the prayers of tzaddikim are heard and known by the angels, and that naturally the angels will take corresponding actions, all as God wills and ordains, lending their knowledge and power to fulfill the prayers of tzaddikim, and acting to shift the matrix of spiritual forces. In a similar way the prayers of the angels inspire the spiritual works and movements of tzaddikim in this world, so that the prayers of angels are often their inspirations and are a driving force with the tzaddikim.

This is the way it is between righteous ones and angels, or the anointed community and company of heaven; it is a completely reciprocal relationship in a co-labor for the harvest of souls and to fulfill Ratzon Elyon in creation, the Will of the Supreme. Thus, in the Book of Apocalypse a great angel calls itself a brother, a sibling, of the anointed tzaddik, the Apostle Yohanan the Beloved. Indeed, the angels and anointed community form an enlightened family, a great luminous assembly in the Shekinah of the Most High.

Understanding this we may recall a prayer of the Master recorded in the Gospel of St. Philip, asking that the images or emanations of the angels of the Pleroma be joined with the assembly, completing the image and likeness of Yahweh Elohim in the Body of the Messiah, or anointed community.

As you might surmise, however, the angels naturally focus on the movements of spiritual forces in the heavens and inner dimensions, and anointed community or tzaddikim focus upon movements of spiritual forces on earth and in the material dimension. These, of course, are corresponding movements below and above, or exterior and interior, all as ordained by El Elyon.

Perhaps it might not surprise you to learn that Elishamael holds deep knowledge and understanding of this interweaving of the spiritual works of tzaddikim and maggidim, helping bring these interactions into the awareness of those seeking greater knowledge of the mysteries of the Holy Gospel and the Most High.

This conscious interaction of the angels of God with the righteous ones is how the vast array of teachings about angels has been generated by masters of the tradition; hence, through direct experience of communion with angelic hosts in the Shekinah and Holy Spirit.

Shalom All!

Thank you Tau Malachi for your specific teachings on the angels!
This conscious interaction of the angels of God with the righteous ones is how the vast array of teachings about angels has been generated by masters of the tradition; hence, through direct experience of communion with angelic hosts in the Shekinah and Holy Spirit.
Praise to God who reveals these wonders through the servants of God to all who will listen!

Drawing closer to understand angels over the past months, I am receiving these posts on specific angels with new meaning. In addition, my mind is opening to the movement of angels in ordinary life. I used to call these divine movements synchronicities, but I’m transitioning my terminology to tzaddikim and maggidim (righteous ones and angels) and the Holy Spirit.

One simple example of seeing these holy ones in action was on Friday afternoon, when I needed to print off documents and physically deliver them to several locations. My tasks transpired within 2 hours like clockwork. Parking spots were prime. I hadn’t thought out my route in advance but it opened up and advanced seamlessly. It was clear to me a divine force was preparing my way. Praise Ma!

Two questions arise from the post in this thread.

First, in relation to the angel Elishamael, it is said:
...calling to the Lord that Elishamael might be sent, so it may come to pass; but aside from our invocations, such things transpire spontaneously if we will engage in study and contemplation of the mysteries of the Gospel, and meditate upon them, resting in the Shekinah of Messiah, allowing ourselves to me moved by Ruach Elohim and the angels.

To call an angel, it is said that intentional “invocations” can be used or spontaneously “study and contemplation” will invoke. In what instances would a specific invocation be used?

Second, contemplating the meanings of Elisha as “God of Deliverance” or “God is a savior”, I think of the shattering of klippah to draw out sparks of trapped wisdom. In searching "klippot" on the forum, I found a link on the Archangel Molidah.

http://www.sophian.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=2792&p=11623&hilit=klippot+husk#p11623

Molidiah is also counted among the archangels of great revelation, one that brings radical new conceptions of God and Godhead, such that Molidiah is an angelic presence known to shatter the klippah (husk) of dogmatic religion, drawing out the sparks of wisdom trapped in it and opening the way for spiritual progress through greater knowledge and understanding of the Divine.

I wonder if there is a co-labor between Molidiah and Elishamael? It seems “radical new conceptions of God and Godhead” are an important part of the Gospel of the Second Coming. Reading this description makes me wonder if I have experienced Molidiah as I have felt this release from dogmatic religion and an integration of new and old knowledge.

May the klippah of lifeless religion be shattered and hearts and minds be opened to the Gospel of the Second Coming!

Shalom,
Bevan.

Greeting and blessings in the Holy Light of the Messiah!

Angels may spontaneously be present with us at any time, though naturally during study and contemplation, sacred discourse, prayer and meditation, and worship, angels are more likely to be with us, and when the Holy Shekinah rests upon us and we are taken up by the Holy Spirit, always there are angels present with us.

The invocation of specific angels and righteous spirits is done when there is an intuition or feeling of the need, or there is an impulse or inspiration to do so; hence, for some reason we are moved to shift from a general prayer and invocation to one that is more specific, and more focus on a specific need. Also it is a matter of Simple Mercy, or measured blessing, often seeking to help individuals who might not the ‘merit,’ if you will, to receive greater divine intervention, so we may restrict our prayer. All of this, though, is a matter of feeling and intuition, as well as experience of reading energy and discerning what can be done and needs to be done that comes over time.

Quite naturally, as you might imagine, knowledge of the angels expands our vocabulary in prayer, and therefore may deepen our prayers. It is good!

As for Molidiah and Elishamael engaging in co-labors at times, throughout the ages and ages of their existence there is no doubt that most of the angels have labored together at various times; such angels are ancient divine beings, ancient to an extent that’s very hard for us to imagine. There are angels that existed before the creation of this universe, and there are angels that came into being in the beginning of this great cosmic cycle whose duration is the entire great cosmic cycle, and then there are all manner of other angels whose duration varies, all the way to lesser angels whose existence might be just a few moments at some point in space-time. Those that existed “before” the beginning, and those whose duration of existence is the entire cosmic cycle, and those whose duration is ages and ages, the duration and existence of these is very difficult to comprehend with our ordinary mental consciousness. The same is true of the vast array of co-labors, interactions and interconnections, between these great divine forces; it’s incomprehensible to our ordinary mental consciousness.

We can, however, see and hear, and understand such things in higher and more expanded states of mental consciousness, and even more so during experiences of states of supramental consciousness; so it is possible to acquire knowledge of these mysteries in prayer, contemplation and meditation as our consciousness expands and we access our greater intelligence.

Shalom!

Greetings Tau Malachi,

Thank you for further deepening my understanding of these spiritual partners.
...knowledge of the angels expands our vocabulary in prayer, and therefore may deepen our prayers. It is good!
I am starting to see this along with why I would want to nurture a relationship through invoking and learning.

A noonday walk from last week came to mind reading this. The walk follows a trailer that is my retreat from the busyness of urban business life. Here I stopped before a towering elm tree. It must have had lived there 150+ years. Its bark skin was thick with deep ridges that I explored with my fingers. I admired its grandeur. How wonder-full creation is, both visible and invisible, old and new, all within the Divine Mother.

Shalom!
Bevan.
