The Woman of Light

#1 Postby Kat » Sun May 15, 2011 4:19 pm

Shalom Malachi and friends,

I was contemplating the second coming of Messiah, and how the Woman of Light in Revelation goes to a place prepared for her in the wilderness and the child that she births almost immediately ascends to heaven. This reminds me of how Yeshua is said to ascend and Magdalene is said to remain with us reincarnating in women's form until all is accomplished. You mentioned today that it could said that we are this place prepared in the wilderness as we are the makom, dwelling place, of the Shekinah. What is this saying of a new humanity if the child is ascending and Woman of Light is remaining with us?

Shalom Kat

Dwelling Place of the Woman of Light

#2 Postby Tau Malachi » Wed Jun 08, 2011 11:09 am

Greetings and blessings in the light of the Messiah!

It is written, “And she gave birth to a son, who is to rule the world with a rod of iron. But her child was snatched away and taken to God and to his throne; and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, so that there she can be nourished for one thousand two hundred sixty days” (Revelation 12:5-6).

It is also written, “But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle, so that she could fly from the serpent into the wilderness, to her place where she is nourished for a time, and a time, and half a time” (12:14).

This is the Supernal Shekinah, the Shekinah of the Risen Messiah, and the appearance of the Woman of Light, and the ascension of her child, represents a time of greater Supernal Influx when a larger segment of collective humanity receives the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the Supernal Light, and embodies Supernal or Messianic Consciousness, the Shekinah of the Messiah. As such, the place prepared for her, her makom (dwelling place), is spiritual humanity, the elect, who receive the Supernal Influx and experience the dawn of Supernal Consciousness, becoming the resting place, the dwelling place, of the Shekinah of the Supreme, El Elyon.

This twofold action represents an innate development that happens with the dawn of Supernal Consciousness, for on one hand there is a development of consciousness beyond the body, an ascent of consciousness and transcendence, but on the other hand, at the same time, there is an influx of higher, expanded consciousness into the body. We become aware of our soul, our being, in the Light Continuum, the supernal dimensions, while at the same time embodying our neshamah, our supernal soul, in this world, the material dimension.

This world is the wilderness, the place of exile – it is a shadow land, and the Shekinah of the Messiah abides in exile with us, being nourished in us to her fullness, until in due season we are taken up in the great resurrection and ascension, the fruition of Supernal Realization, and with us she returns from her exile, being restored to her abode, the Pleroma of Light, the Supernal Universe.

Yeshua Messiah taught us, saying, “My kingdom is not of this world,” and so our fruition is not of this world, nor in this world, but is in the great ascension, in the realization of our true being in the Pleroma of Light, the “eighth heaven,” Malkut of Atzilut.

We may contemplate a teaching of St. Paul in this regard, considering the ascension of the Holy Child – our life is hidden with Christ in God, the True Light, and will be revealed in the end-of-days. Thus, here in the wilderness, in “winter,” we abide in our faith in Yeshua Messiah and we nurture and nourish the presence of the Messiah in us, this Light-presence and Light-power, awaiting the greater revelation of our life, our being, that is concealed with the Messiah in El Elyon, understanding our full reintegration with the Light Continuum in the end-of-days when we depart this world, taken up the great ascension.

Whether by “end-of-days” we understand the end of the world, an event on a larger collective level, or the hour of our death, an event on an individual level, we live in the end-of-days, and the climax of our realization in Christ transpires when our soul, our consciousness, departs this body and world, reintegrating in full with the Light Continuum, the Supernal Universe (Atzilut).

In this process of self-realization in Christ, however, we labor to embody the fullness of the Light-presence and Light-power in this world, in this life, and as we do, more and more, here on earth we walk in the kingdom of heaven, aware of the Pleroma of Light within and all around us, and beyond us, so that when we die we will not experience death, but rather a conscious transition into the body of light and the light realm. It is the realization of ‘eternal life,’ bornless being, the truth revealed in the Risen Messiah, Hayyah Yeshua.

On one level, the Virgin of Light is the Body of Christ on earth, the Holy Church – understanding by “Holy Church” not a manmade institution, but rather a matrix of souls touched and awakened by the Holy Spirit, a holy vessel receiving the fullness of the Supernal Influx, the Supernal Light. This is reflected in the teachings of the Threefold Sanctuary of Melchizedek in the tradition, parallel to the church, community or circle, on the inner level, there is the Holy Bride, who is also the Holy Mother, the “Woman of Light.”

In the person of the Woman of Light the Holy Mother and Holy Bride are joined as one Divine Presence and Power, one Holy Shekinah, and in Supernal Realization the Daughter and Mother are united in us, our Clear Light Nature being recognized as inseparable from the Primordial Clear Light, the Clear Light in all and transcendent of all.

This Clear Light is the very essence of the Messiah, and it is the very essence and nature of all living spirits and souls.

Now, this movement of greater Supernal Influx is already underway, and we may say that it is accelerating and increasing in intensity. In the late 1800s it began, and since that time there is an increasing frequency of influxes of Supernal Light, Supernal Force, with a greater frequency of individuals experiencing gradations of Supernal Consciousness. As foretold in Revelation, though, this is transpiring in a dark age, and with the influxes of the Holy Light there arises a greater force of darkness, a play of Hesed-Mercy and Gevurah-Severity in a dynamic labor towards the fruition of the Divine Intention on earth. Thus, we labor amidst a great darkness here, but we are empowered in our labor through the sanctuary of grace in the Risen Messiah, and in the Risen Messiah we stand in victory over the great darkness, liberated from the judgment – liberated from bondage to the ignorance.

Here and now, we are makom, the dwelling place, of the Woman of Light, the Shekinah of the Messiah, and we bring in and hold this Supernal Light-presence and Light-power for the people, for all who desire to receive the Holy Light and who desire to enter into the Pleroma of Light.

The Holy Light is in the world, even amidst the great darkness that is moving in the world, and it is our prayer in the Risen Messiah that all might open to receive the Holy Light and remember their innate perfection in the Light Continuum, realizing their transcendence. Amen.

Peace be with you!

Having just gathered in community for a recent ceremony of the Mother and Child, I find this thread to be valuable for its clarifications regarding the Woman of Light, her child, and the Woman of Light's movement into the wilderness. It deepens my understanding of "makom" and "exile" and seems prophetic to the cycle of teachings I heard as of the ceremony and in more recent months regarding a "generation of Noah" and increased darkness. I post this to bring the thread to the forefront so that it might be easier find should others find it a valuable clarification as well.

Grace and peace to you in Hayyah Yeshua, the Risen Messiah!

This is, indeed, a good time for the contemplation of the Woman of Light, and more so consideration of the sanctuary prepared for her in the wilderness, in a time of great darkness, a time of the increase of wickedness and evil in the masses of humanity and the world. There is something more that can be said of this sanctuary in the wilderness, for while we can speak of a greater influx of the Holy Light and Spirit in the end of days, at the outset of the Second Coming there is a plunge into a dark age - a wicked generation, and a greater dominion of forces of the Other Side in the world; hence, the great dragon that seeks to devour and destroy the Woman of Light, and the ascension of the Great Beast to rulership of the world.

As is known, Noah was a tzaddik in his generation, and great darkness dominated the world in his time, he lived in the midst of a wicked generation, so much so that there were virtually none who sought the Holy One or who would return to the Holy One. Thus, receiving the word of the Holy One his single focus became building the ark, cutting and sanding the gopherwood, and joining it together to construct the ark, a vessel or sanctuary of life for the impending destruction, the coming near to the end of days, Strict Judgment. In this he followed the word of the Holy One, followed the instructions of the Holy One, never veering or becoming distracted from the work and mission given to him, and so truly, in the midst of a dark age, a wicked generation, he stood in the presence of the Holy One, the Shekinah of Yahweh, as a tzaddik - a righteous one.

The mission given to him was not the salvation of souls, or the uplifting of souls in the Great Ascension, for the Messiah had not come; but rather, his mission was the preservation of life in the world, so that in future generations the Messiah would come and there would be salvation. The darkness in his time, the wickedness of the generation, was truly intense and terrible, but he did not fall into it, he did not become distracted by it, but even in the face of various trials and tribulations, and persecutions, he focused on building the ark, and building it completely sound and very well with great attention to detail and craftsmanship; his focus became what could be done for the sake of the kingdom of heaven and glorification of the Holy One in the midst of a very dark time, and that is what he did, that is what occupied his thoughts, words and actions, his life, all of the time - that became his self-offering, and it was accounted to him as perfect righteousness, and in the coming of the Messiah his soul was received in heaven by the Holy One and angels, he received salvation, enlightenment and liberation. Praise God!

The sanctuary prepared for the Woman of Light in the wilderness is very much like the ark that Noah built, but rather than physical and external, it is spiritual and internal, for that the holy sanctuary in the wilderness is Anointed Community in the end of days, in the midst of a dark age and wicked generations, and in building, generating this holy sanctuary, rather than a labor for the preservation of life on earth, in this world, it is a labor for the uplifting of souls in the Great Ascension, Great Liberation, and for the realization of the World-That-Is-Coming. Understand, the Woman of Light to whom is given the wings of the great eagle, this is the Shekinah of the Messiah, and specifically the Supernal Shekinah - influx of the interior Shekinah; this Holy Shekinah rests upon, and indwells, Anointed Community, and in effect Anointed Community anchors the Shekinah of Messiah - the Anointing with Holy Light and Spirit, in the world in the midst of the great darkness of the end times, when relatively few seek God, the True Light, so that those who do seek God may find God and return to God, and be drawn up in the Great Ascension and delivered in the end of days when this world passes into destruction. Thus, this sanctuary of the Woman of Light in the wilderness is a refuge of hope for humanity in the midst of a time of great trial and tribulation, a time of trial and tribulation that has come and is to come.

When the woman of light appears and gives birth, as we know a war breaks out in the heavens, and Satan and his angels are cast out of the heavens, cast down upon the earth; hence there is a greater manifestation of of dark and hostile forces in the world, demons that inspire great evil, taking up souls vulnerable to their influence. In this time there is a diminishing of the matrix of faith, and therefore fewer manifestations of Anointed Community that bear the Light Transmission, they become few and far between, like the wadi or oasis in a vast desert; hence the sanctuary of the Woman of Light in the “wilderness.” In this time, while the manifestations of Anointed Community become fewer, and there are fewer souls that actually seek to return to the Holy One with full force and zeal, there is a growing corruption of religion, and many deceivers arise, false teachers and false prophets, and strange and false teachings abound. Thus, it is a time of incredible confusion and ignorance, and it is not easy for seekers to discern and find Anointed Community, but through grace and the mercy of the Holy One those who search with true faith and the love of the Holy One are able to find and able to recognize Anointed Community through the Holy Spirit leading them.

This is a time when unenlightened society falls into greater and greater wickedness, when wickedness - negativity, is normalized, and greater numbers of souls are driven by greed and lust, bound up in klippot of pride and arrogance, envy and jealousy, avarice and gluttony, fear, anger and hatred, dullness, depression and doubt, and the like; hence, the psychic atmosphere becomes more and more violent, hostile, the karmic web of the unenlightened condition, ignorance, becomes much stronger and more difficult to overcome. Truly, a very powerful darkness, evil, overtakes the world, driving the world towards death and destruction.

Understand, aside from the arising of great darkness, evil, and the corresponding evolutionary crisis in a world-system, all worlds in the matrix of creation, as well as their heavens, are impermanent and in one way or another eventually pass into destruction, the end of days coming to pass in them. Thus, regardless, true salvation is the realization of a transcendence of the necessity of physical, material incarnation, the uplifting of souls in the Great Ascension, the Great Liberation; hence, the remembrance, realization, of the Supernal Abode, the Pleroma of Light, or the eternal realm.

Now when the Woman of Light appears and gives birth she is given the wings of the great eagle to overcome the power of the dragon and to fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, and as has been said, this corresponds with a greater influxes of the Holy Light and Spirit - Supernal Influx, and a greater capacity of Anointed Community to invoke influxes of the Sefirot, spiritual powers of the Divine Attributes. Thus, in the midst of this great darkness there is a great light for those who seek it, and there is a powerful manifestation of the Sanctuary of Grace, for just as there is a casting down upon the earth of demonic forces, so great messengers of the kingdom of heaven are sent, light-bearers, or great tzaddikim and angels, and the power of those manifestations of Anointed Community that remain is bolstered and increased; if the faithful and spiritual elect tend the Continuum of Light Transmission with zeal, generate the Holy Sanctuary, and abide in their faith, so there will be a great force of the Holy Shekinah that goes before them delivering their “enemies” into their hands - Divine Grace will take up her full action with, in and through them.

There is, though, an active spiritual labor to be done, for just as Noah labored to build the ark, setting his full focus upon it, so must there be a labor in Anointed Community with such zeal, passion, in faith and love to tend the Continuum of Light Transmission and generate the Holy Sanctuary - there is this labor of building, constructing, and it is a co-labor with the Shekinah of the Messiah and Spirit of God (Ruach Elohim). As with Noah, who was not distracted and lead astray by the things transpiring in the world, in the unenlightened society surrounding him, so it must be with Anointed Community, regardless of what’s transpiring the faithful and elect must keep the faith and tend the Continuum with full zeal and passion, full force of will and desire, and intelligence. There is something to be said of times of great darkness, or great trial and tribulation, for though, indeed, there is much deception, illusion and confusion, and a very strong and intense resistance and opposition to true spirituality, on account of it the least effort towards spirituality, enlightenment or a return to God generates great merit and bears more fruit; if and when the faithful and spiritual elect pursue the spiritual life and practice with full zeal, keeping the faith, so they may experience radical leaps in the evolution and realization of their souls in the Messiah, for as has been said in the end times, in the midst of the Second Coming, though a great darkness overcomes the world, unenlightened society, there is a greater influx of the radiance of the Supernal Crown, the Infinite Light, and there are many messengers of the kingdom of heaven laboring in secret to uplift souls in the Great Ascension. Thus, there is a great potential and possibility of a swift Thunderbolt Enlightenment, a swift awakening and realization of the soul, in life, or at the time of the soul’s transition beyond the body, at the time of death or in the afterlife. In this, perhaps, you may understand the joy of the apocalypse and virtue of living in the end of days to the faithful and elect, so that rather than dreadful, or doom and gloom, there is a vision of great hope in it, the hope of the realization of the Great Resurrection and Ascension, or New Jerusalem.

Consider the vision of the Woman of Light giving birth and her Holy Child swiftly taken up in divine rapture, the Great Ascension; this is a vision of great hope for all who cleave to the Shekinah of the Messiah and who seek to reintegrate their soul with the Infinite Light and Eternal One (Yahweh, Yeshua) with zeal, with the full force of their will and desire. Through Divine Grace, through the Messiah and Holy Spirit, they may also be taken up in divine rapture, a Thunderbolt Enlightenment! Praise God!

There is something more to be said of this vision of the Woman of Light and her Holy Child, however, something of an open secret known to initiates, one that is hidden in plain sight in the Book of Apocalypse - Revelation. As has been said, understand, though in this life our labor is to embody the Shekinah of the Messiah in full - the Holy Light and Spirit of God (enlightenment), ultimately our labor is for the realization of transcendence, the development and evolution of consciousness beyond the body - transcendence of the necessity of incarnation in the physical, material world, and the darkness, ignorance, of matter. This is the essential message of the prophets of ancient Israel and enlightened ones of all authentic wisdom traditions, and curiously enough in modern times even atheistic scientists are beginning agree with them, though not being able to comprehend spirituality with their finite intellect, and therefore not being able to understand evolution in a spiritual context; but nevertheless, many scientists are proposing that in the evolution of life, to survive and continue their existence, an intelligence species must be able to travel beyond their planet and solar-system, in effect transcending the limitations of their impermanent physical world. Thus, even faithless souls can see the eventual coming of the end of days to all solar-systems and worlds in the material dimension.

If you consider this vision of St. Yohanan the Beloved, in it you will find a most essential and crucial way of mystical prayer and meditation for the full embodiment of the Shekinah of Messiah and the realization of consciousness, the soul, beyond the body, or transcendence of the need for incarnation in the physical, material world and universe.

Look and see, and understand! The Holy Child is taken up in divine rapture, an ascension in a spiritual body beyond the physical, material world, and the Woman of Light is given the wings of the great eagle, and she goes to the place prepared for her in the wilderness. As we have said, that holy sanctuary is Anointed Community, and as such so is each and every individual who composes the Anointed Community, and as we have said she rests upon them and indwells them, becoming manifest as Anointed Community. This corresponds exactly with the practice of Union with Holy Partzuf. She remains in this world, embodied, as it were, in Anointed Community, but her Holy Child is taken up in divine rapture, and ascends in a spiritual body, a body of light, this corresponds exactly with the practice of the Transference of Consciousness into a subtle, spiritual body of light, or body of glory. Thus, in this vision initiates understand a teaching of Union with Partzuf and the Transference of Consciousness, this joined with Primordial Meditation, Giving and Receiving and the practice of hitbodedut - secluded prayer, prayers of the heart, forming the essential foundation of the interior life of initiates of the Holy Gospel, initiates in the Messiah - true followers of the Way.

There is Union with Partzuf - a divine personification, the Mother, the Bride, the Risen Messiah, Yohanan the Baptist, and so on. Taking up this practice we envision the Holy Partzuf magically appearing in the space before us in a radiant body of glory, and we commune with them and we pray, and as we commune and pray we envision them smiling upon us, and we envision them blessing us, we envision light streaming from them, pouring onto us and into us, transforming us into their image and likeness, one who shines like the sun, or a star of heaven. In fruition we envision the Holy Partzuf dissolving into fluid flowing light and pouring into us completely, merging with us, and we envision ourselves arising as the Holy Partzuf - union with Partzuf, embodying Partzuf, the Shekinah of Messiah.

Then there is the Transference of Consciousness, an evolution of the practice of Union with Partzuf. Essentially it is the very same mystical prayer and meditation, but in fruition, instead of envisioning the Holy Partzuf dissolving and merging with us, we envision ourselves dissolving into fluid flowing light that streams into the glory body of the Holy Partzuf, merging with Partzuf, in effect shifting the center of our consciousness, or soul, from the material body into that body of light, body of glory.

This way of mystical prayer and meditation is at the very heart of our continuum of spiritual practice in the Gnostic Path, and it is the very essence of the generation, building, of the holy sanctuary of the Great Resurrection and Ascension - the Great Exodus. Essentially, the holy sanctuary of the Woman of Light is the generation of the spiritual body, or body of light, of each initiate and the community as a whole - the development of the interior life and an actual spiritual realization in the Messiah, and with this a matrix of light is manifest in this world, something of the true kingdom of heaven - a holy sanctuary that gives refuge in the midst of great darkness and awakens souls, uplifting them in the Great Ascension.

Like Noah, however, who set his focus upon building the ark, putting the full force of his will and desire into the construction of the ark, so must we labor daily in prayer and meditation, and contemplation, with full kavvanah (conscious intention) and devekut (cleaving), and a fiery passion for the enlightenment and liberation of the soul; hence, we must be willing to the work of salvation and co-labor with the Holy Spirit to bring it to fruition. If there is to be an actual realization of Supernal or Messianic Consciousness our spirituality cannot be a casual affair or hobby, but rather the spiritual life and practice, the development of the interior life, must be central to our lives, it must be a priority, all of life becoming the extension and expression of our interior life and inner being - the indwelling Messiah and Holy Spirit.

Joined with the practices cited, of course, there is the Six Essentials and Three Roots, and with these we have a Path of Thunderbolt Enlightenment in the End-Of-Days, a manifestation of the sanctuary of the Woman of Light.

Understand, it is ideal if we are able to be in an actual assembly of Anointed Community, and in close companionship with an Anointed Tzaddik; such is a great blessing if given to us by God. Yet regardless, if we receive initiation - Light Transmission, the Anointing, and we are passionate in our spiritual life and practice, our interior life, even living at a distance from an assembly of the Anointed Community we can generate this holy sanctuary and abide in it, certainly so!

Thus, all who have faith and all who are willing are called to this labor in the end of days, and if we are willing, if we will go within and live within, and we will pray and meditate throughout our days, the Holy Spirit will complete and perfect the works of salvation in us and it will go well for us, regardless of outward trials and tribulations we might face; such is the promise of salvation, enlightenment, in the Woman of Light and her Holy Child - the Messiah. Praise God!

In the Feast of the Holy Mother and Child this year the word of the Mother was this: “This is a time of the sanctuary in the wilderness and abiding in faith.” Given this word of the Holy Mother I was inclined to give this teaching at this time, and if there is desire for it I will expand upon it.

This, however, is enough for the time being.

May those who seek the Holy Sanctuary find it, may those who come in faith and love, and peace, be well received! Amen.

Shaddai Shalom!

Integrity of the Sanctuary

#5 Postby Elder Gideon » Sat Jan 14, 2017 9:51 am

Shalom Tau Malachi:

I read and re-read this post and continue to find so much insight for now and the time to come. It's a prophecy with very clear, grounded applications we as a community will not exhaust for years, even generations to come. This is a key writing to which we'll all need to be very familiar as it will guide us in all circumstances. Praise be She for her Apostles who make places of sanctuary in the wilderness for others here and beyond the body.

Between the portent of the Woman of Light, the war in heaven in response to her emanation, and the place prepared for her in the wilderness, I was surprised to encounter a parallel mystery of the first three days of Creation. For her appearance, I perceive the first day when light is revealed; for the war in heaven, I recall the second day, of which midrashim teach is the reanimation of the shards of qlippot; for the place prepared for her in the wilderness, I sense the third day of creation when waters are gathered to one place exposing dry land, to which midrashim attribute the maggidim whose being stabilize the matrix.

If this is near the mark, it holds some helpful ways for me to see not only how creation is literally ongoing as from the first 'days,' but how these days might be internalized for the spiritual practices you've prescribed. I consider the third day as sanctuary for its integrity. I'm witnessing everywhere as an educator, Elder, and citizen how 'safe' places for spiritual communities seem to be 'drying up,' even disappearing. So much secularism is as much a response to religious corruption as to irrelevance. For so many communities which hold a spiritual intention, how to remain dynamic and supple against currents of divisiveness appear to be straining the most fundamental beliefs. All of this to say, it's hard to find an integral safe-place that shows a community how to move forward balancing head, heart, and grit.

That you've emphasized how to enter and build this sanctuary through one's continuum with partzuf is tremendous hope. It is something any of us at any distance can do. This 'building the ark' of our continuum is so resonant with the Master's teaching in Thomas 70: "If you bring forth what is within you, what you have will save you. If you do not have that within you, what you do not have within you [will] kill you." All one ever has is what is inside. In their spiritual life, this is their substance, their wealth, as is taught in the Proverbs: Honor YHVH with your substance (3:9). Rabbi Simeon in Zohar plays upon and extends the words with your wealth as with your grace, "as with joyous melody, delighting the heart, for this rejoices the heart" (2:93a). By honoring YHVH with such a continuum with partzuf, one generates true wealth which YHVH converts into grace. Here is sanctuary brought forth from within, sheltering and saving.

The sanctuary of the third day depends upon the inner work integrating the light and the ignorance, first and second days respectively. The test of one's sanctuary is in the midst of the war in heaven, cast down upon the earth. How will I know what is mine apart from this test? Good ideas, delusions of grandeur, and spiritual hallucinations evaporate in adversity. What I know, I know only in such tests. Consternation tests the integrity of the sanctuary. Consider any of our ancestors in the Covenant. Their ordeals tested the sanctuary their faith created. By faith, they endured as the Apostle writing to the Hebrews in chapter eleven champions. What more ultimate test of the integrity of the sanctuary not made by human hands (Hebrews 9:11, 24) is the body of the Perfect Master on the cross? If we're to take up his cross and follow in his way, we're willing to the test of the integrity of our sanctuary.

By anchoring this mystery in the Woman of Light, you're reminding us of our root and origin and means of return. A partzuf is personifying Supernal awareness. What 'wears' this awareness is the form a partzuf takes. By identifying with partzuf and collaborating to build a sanctuary, I'm hearing a process by which one becomes conscious of and identifies with awareness itself. How mysterious, even magical, that with time, devotion, and consistency, such a positive thought pattern, visualization, and sound literally comes to life. The opposite seems true: Ignorance is a thought-pattern, visualization, and sound-vibration just the same. There's no not-building. If I'm hearing this teaching, while an increasingly darker, more hostile time is collectively being built, how to invert all of the same into something sustainable and enduring, even beyond the body, makes a place in the wilderness for the Woman of Light, of whom we are each a spark.

May the faithful and elect who wish to seek to be wise builders remember the stone so many reject.

Elder Gideon

Shabbat Shalom dear Tau Malachi and Community,

"Understand, it is ideal if we are able to be in an actual assembly of Anointed Community, and in close companionship with an Anointed Tzaddik; such is a great blessing if given to us by God.

Praise God!"

As I have been reading and contemplating on this thread of writings on the Woman of Light and the Holy Sanctuary, what was spoken above was very helpful to me, being an initiate of this Annointed Community yet living a distance from it. The forum has always been a source of help and it unites my soul back into the "oneness" that I desire with this Holy Community.

The analogy of Noah building the Ark, with building the Ark within ourselves, the makom, dwelling place, is so beautiful.

There has been a contemplation of "dwelling place" and a rememberance of this Psalm ( Psalm 91). I wanted to share hoping it may bless others as it has me in contemplating it this Shabbat.
Psalm 91

1Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.I
2I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
3Surely he will save you
from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
4He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”

I find it interesting how much of this Psalm is so very prophetic of the Messiah, and also speaks of the Holy Shekinah, and this "Shelter", or "dwelling place" of the "Most High". This psalm also speaks of Faith and Love. It seems as we abide in Faith and Love that this dwelling place is generated, as Noah-who abided in Faith, Hope and Love- and did not become corrupted by the "world" around him- thus the Ark was able to be completed.

I am so very thankful for this Community that provides a "shelter" and a "dwelling place" for my soul and for other initiates as well, to be nourished. It is like a "spring" in a desert for the soul!

May we all become as an "Ark", a Dwelling Place", a Shelter" for the Holy Shekinah and may the Light of the Woman of Light ray out to all!!

With heartfelt gratitude and love,
Elizabeth

Grace and peace to you in Hayyah Yeshua, the Risen and Ascended Messiah!

Your insight my brother is beautiful, and opens a revelation of deep mysteries of this holy sanctuary; only the Holy Spirit could have gifted this knowledge to you, praise God! Let us consider mysteries of the first three days of creation and these mysteries of the Woman of Light in Revelation and see what more the Spirit of God might reveal to us; there is deep wisdom in their interconnection, certainly so!

As is known, the masters of the tradition have taught that the light of the first day of creation is “stored up for the righteous” - tzaddikim, in the end of days; this corresponds with the Holy Child of the Woman of Light - the Messiah, taken up in divine rapture, the opening of the way of the Great Ascension, and it corresponds with all who receive this anointing with the Holy Light and Spirit of God and who generate this holy sanctuary, and so are uplifted in the Great Ascension in the Messiah. This Holy Light is supernal and primordial - pure radiant awareness, and it corresponds with the realization of bornless being, “without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but resembling the Son of God he remains priest forever” (Hebrews 7:3).

The second day, as is known, is the division of “firmaments,” and in this action darkness and evil are activated and enter into the matrix of creation so that, while on every other day of creation Elohim says “It is good,” this day of creation is not proclaimed to be good so that darkness and evil would not be made to endure forever but would have a predestined end, cessation, in the fruition of creation and the revelation of the Infinite and Eternal One. This, indeed, corresponds with the war in heaven and what transpires following the appearance of the Woman of Light, the casting down of Satan and his angels upon the earth, completing the action, movement, of the second day, initiating the movement of the end of days and the cessation of darkness, evil, all as ordained from the outset of creation.

The third day dry land appears, which as discussed elsewhere has an esoteric correspondence with the principle of holy sanctuary, and likewise fruit bearing trees and seed bearing grasses are created. The sun, moon, planets and stars, however, are not created until the fourth day, and this of course catches the attention of initiates, for apparently this “vegetation” represents something more, something other worldly, or heavenly. According to the Zohar this corresponds with the creation of angels - angels of creation, permanent and impermanent, those that endure throughout the great cosmic cycle and those whose existence spans various durations of time, long and short. The masters of the tradition teach us that the third day, with the creation of angels, is the rectification of the second day and the darkness, evil, that entered into the matrix of creation, and therefore Elohim proclaims the third day “good” twice, making up, as it were, for the lack of this proclamation on the second day.

First, concerning the holy sanctuary of the Woman of Light - Anointed Community, the two holies correspond with the union of heaven and earth in the holy sanctuary, and more so the empowerment to endure and overcome the spirit of the Other Side, the spiritual forces of the klippot, and joined with this it corresponds to the double portion of soul the faithful and elect receive who remember and keep the Holy Shabbat, or who tend the Continuum of Light Transmission; in this the Shekinah of the Messiah manifests with them in full glory and power, even in the midst of the “wilderness,” or great darkness.

Through Anointed Community, quite literally, the kingdom of heaven is made manifest upon the earth, and so the kingdom of heaven is present in the end of days for all who seek to enter it and return to God, the True Light; and with the kingdom of heaven, so also the angels of the heavens, and angels of the supernal palace. When the faithful and elect labor to build the holy sanctuary - the ark of souls, the angels join them in their labor and co-labor with them, and when the faithful and elect tend the Continuum of Light Transmission, so they abide in the good company of the Holy Shekinah, and the angels of heaven minister to them and shelter them; thus there is this great luminous assembly of angelic beings with Anointed Community, a constant angelic presence and communion.

Archangel Michael and his angels, and countless other heavenly hosts, are the force of the Shekinah of Messiah moving with Anointed Community, certainly so! Praise the Lord!

Thus Anointed Community is, indeed, the manifestation of Holy Sanctuary, and through Anointed Community comes the tikkune of the world, its perfection and completion in the Risen and Ascended Messiah, the End-Of-Days and World-That-Is-Coming.

All of this becomes actualized and realized through the development and evolution of the interior life - a true communion in prayer and meditation, and contemplation, cleaving to the Shekinah of Messiah and unifying with the Messiah - the anointing with the Holy Light and Spirit.

May many be received this day in Holy Sanctuary and may the Shekinah of Messiah rest upon them and indwell them, healing them and enlightening them, and uplifting them in ascension! Amen.

Shabbat Shalom!

Moving Dry Land

#8 Postby Elder Gideon » Sun Jan 22, 2017 10:38 am

Shabbat Shalom, Tau Malachi:

I'm taken by your response, hearing this sanctuary not as a static place outside of myself, but as an integration of light and darkness, creation and destruction within myself. Between the creative force of Hesed and the destructive force of Gevurah, Tiferet is a moving, dynamic stability. The dry land here isn't solidly beneath one's feet. Rather, it's how I'm hearing the climax of the Perfect Master's "Sermon on the Mount:"

‘Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not act on them will be like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell—and great was its fall!’ (Matthew 7:24-27).

No where does the Perfect Master promise the cessation of turmoil, even destruction. It's the rock that endures. This rock, however, is impervious to what threatens anything built upon it not for its solidity, but for its nothingness. Space doesn't move. Space doesn't change. Space endures all conditions moving through it. The ability to abide, even act, in the face of a pounding tempest, shredding everything in its path, is how I'm hearing the Third Day.

You've long taught that existence is in the Middle Pillar, the balance itself between ceaselessly expansive and constrictive, creative, and destructive forces of the respective Right and Left. To hear of the place prepared in the wilderness for the Woman of Light might sound like a quieter place removed from a war-torn region. But the two apparent settings of the Apocalypse aren't different zones like heaven above and removed from the tormented earth, but of the interior life of the saints in the very midst of calamity. All of the heavenly visions of the Lamb and Elders and angels are the ascents of the righteous in their interior life of prayer, worship, and dream. They embody and incarnate the place prepared for the Woman of Light.

We who cleave to the True Light in Messiah, Tzaddik, and Community, are many more than Noah was in his time. Yet there is something parallel with his mythical time and our own. While he was building something sustainable, true, and lasting, the world around him was falling apart, overcome by darker and more hostile forces of the qlippot. Animals were trekking two by two and entering the ark, while unimaginable decadence or fighting pervaded every environment. To the very last day, as Elohim closed the door to the ark, the escalation of greed, lust, and violence was blinding and deafening. As the sky flood began and the deeps broke open, destructive waters crashed against the ark, lifting it off the ground.

Creation and destruction are not sequential, but simultaneous. As Noah created the ark, all around him humankind destroyed. As in his time, so in ours. While an openness to more kinds of people grows, impossible innovations become possible, and true dreams and visions are being embodied, the same are threatened equally and oppositely from all sides. What I see and feel and which my heart still struggles to accept as a mystic in this time in lineage, is that it's not going to get better here. Global warming is not a rough patch. Ubiquitous shootings aren't a passing phase. Numbers of refugees aren't ever going down. Instead, all of this will intensify. Whatever the greater light is creating, the greater darkness is destroying. Between these is the dry land. Neither solid nor like figurative rock on which the wise build the house of their life, the dry land is the internal awareness of nothingness that can abide undistracted in between the flux of creation and destruction. By our embodiment of awareness of nothingness, we prepare a place for the Woman of Light in this wilderness.

May the Eternal,
who causes the sun to rise on the evil and on the good,
who sends rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous,
draw forth the light from within the darkness.

Grace and peace to you in Hayyah Yeshua, the Risen Messiah!

Yes, indeed, the promise of healing and redemption is not that we will be free from trials and tribulations in this world, and certainly not in the times leading up to the end-of-days. In this world, even in the best of times, we encounter temptations, trials and tribulations, and there is always consternation somewhere in the world, great suffering. Thus, Adonai Yeshua proclaimed, “My kingdom is not of this world”; the swift ascension of the Holy Child of the Woman of Light reflects this, the true kingdom is in the eternal realm, the World-To-Come.

Yet, in the midst of tumultuous times, regardless of the increase of darkness - wickedness and evil, and the great conflicts created by it, there is a Sanctuary of Grace in the Messiah - the Anointing, something like the ark that Noah built that weathered the severe storms preserving life. This Holy Sanctuary, however, ultimately is not for the preservation of life in this world, for this world and everything in it is impermanent and eventually will pass away, but rather this Holy Sanctuary is for the realization of eternal life in the kingdom of heaven, the Supernal Abode.

The recognition and realization of the Wisdom of Ain - the no-thingness, emptiness, that is the foundation of all, and the Supernal One, who is the source of all, is essential to our abiding in the Sanctuary of Grace; likewise, recognizing this as the foundation and source of our mind, consciousness or soul, realizing the reality of our experience as a radiant or magical display of our mind consciousness or soul - our mind, consciousness or soul inseparable from its foundation and source, and likewise from the reality of our experience. This is the inmost secret wisdom - enlightenment, in the Risen Messiah, and it is the ground of true spiritual and supernal realization, the true kingdom of heaven - the enlightenment and liberation of the soul.

Though the true kingdom of God (El, Elohim) is not of this world, we labor for the realization and manifestation of the kingdom of God in this world, for it is through this that we enter the kingdom of God in the afterlife, when we depart this world.

If you consider it, the full realization of the Ain Nature of our soul and all things is a movement into complete self-nullification, cessation, within which there is the realization that there is nothing but the Holy One, the Infinite and Eternal, and in this realization the experience of conscious unification - oneness with Supernal Being, the Messiah and Holy One.

This is the realization of the kingdom of God, in this world or in the afterlife - this is the enlightenment and liberation of the soul as we witness in Yeshua Messiah.

In this regard contemplate well the swift ascension of the Holy Child of the Woman of Light, this image of divine rapture, and understand!

There is something more to be said about the Holy Sanctuary in the wilderness - the spiritual Community of Israel, Anointed Community, and the Woman of Light flying to it, escaping the rage of the great dragon, Satan.

Listen and hear, and understand! This is a time of the Holy Shekinah in exile, the spiritual elect - Community of Israel, dispersed among the peoples and lands of the world, and the Holy Shekinah in exile with them, resting upon them and cleaving to them, holding them close - the formation of Makom, the Holy Sanctuary. Understand, when you cleave to the Holy One, the Holy One cleaves to you, the Holy Shekinah rests upon you and cleaves to you, merging with you, and so in this way the Holy One, indeed, blesses you and keeps you, and you have true refuge, sanctuary, in the Messiah and Holy One - Shekinah of Messiah, the Anointing. Praise God!

Wherever there faithful person, or a spiritual person, who actively cleaves the Holy Shekinah is with them, and more so, wherever the spiritual Community of Israel, Anointed Community, arises and gathers the Shekinah of Messiah is in that place, among that people and land, and the Holy Sanctuary is made manifest. When there is a gathering, the manifestation of Community of Israel, Anointed Community, there is naturally a greater manifestation of the Shekinah of Messiah, for as Yeshua Messiah taught, “Where two or more are gathered in my Name I am with them,” and likewise, “when two or more agree on anything it shall be done.” Such is the power of the Holy Sanctuary manifest in Messiah Yeshua, the Holy Sanctuary of the Woman of Light in the wilderness in the End-Of-Days.

Our labor for the realization of the kingdom of heaven and manifestation of the Holy Sanctuary in this world is not just for ourselves alone, but for all peoples - all our relations, so that for those seeking to return to God there is a refuge and vehicle of return.

There is, perhaps, something more to be said of reciprocal cleaving, but this seems enough for the moment.

May the Holy Sanctuary be manifest in fullness on this Day of Rest; may the Queen of Shabbat be received in all lands, among all peoples! Amen.

Shabbat Shalom!

Ten Journeys

#10 Postby Elder Gideon » Fri Mar 03, 2017 5:35 am

Shalom Tau:

Your response opened many new insights for me, particularly in light of your powerful examples in our Zohar study just last night that practitioners can neither idealize the past nor withhold themselves from the present on account of current conditions. Truly, the inmost soul wishes to serve where the need is most urgent and critical.

In our Zohar text, the exile of the Shekinah took another dimension I'd not heard before, a new I'm contemplating the flight of the Woman of Light from the great dragon: The dust will return to the earth, as it was, and the spirit of will return to God who gave it (Ecclesiastes 12:7)...What is and the spirit? Shekinah, who is the Holy Spirit—when She saw those ten journeys that She made, yet they did not want to turn back to the blessed Holy One in repentance, and the Other Side took control of the Holy Land, as they have established (II:97b).

What a powerful, new way to hear of her exile. The dusts here refers to the Temple, the former sanctuary destroyed. The spirit is the Shekinah, the Woman of Light. The wilderness in Revelations is removed from human dwellings and it sounds like it's in the physical plane. That she needed sanctuary elsewhere is because of the war that took place in heaven following the birth of the holy child of the woman of light. In the absence of keeping the faith, the Other Side took control. What is physical about the place prepared for her is what you described of the elect who remain incarnate: Understand, when you cleave to the Holy One, the Holy One cleaves to you, the Holy Shekinah rests upon you and cleaves to you, merging with you, and so in this way the Holy One, indeed, blesses you and keeps you, and you have true refuge, sanctuary, in the Messiah and Holy One - Shekinah of Messiah, the Anointing. Praise God!

In light of this teaching in Zohar, I'd like to ask if this place prepared for her in the wilderness is also describing the interior life of the Elect. Heaven in the midst of this wilderness can only be inside. I ask because in this context of Zohar, the sanctuary for the Shekinah is "Her place in heaven." Talmud is footnoted below, commenting of Her exile, "In the name of Rabbi Yohanan, Shekinah departed from the Temple (and Jerusalem and earth) in ten stages, the final one being from the desert to Her place in heaven" (Rosh Hashanah 31a).

If I'm not too far afield mixing two different teachings of the exile of the Shekinah, I'd like to inquire further of how "ten stages," or "journeys" which remind me of the sefirot, might describe her flight into "Her place in heaven" prepared for her in the "wilderness" of anointed communities.

I'm most grateful that the Continuum is never contradicted by any circumstances. It is for these circumstances that we're practicing, contemplating, studying, and giving thanks daily to the Most High within and behind all. Who are our heroes of faith apart from adversity?

Gratefully,

Elder Gideon

Grace and peace to you in Hayyah Yeshua, the Risen Messiah!

Understand, in the Messiah, the Anointing with Holy Light and the Spirit, there is a new humanity - the generations of the Second Adam (Gadol Adam, Gadol Seth), and with a new humanity so also a new heaven and new earth. This new humanity in the Messiah is the true Holy Temple, the Living Sanctuary - spiritual Community of Israel, Anointed Community; the temples built and destroyed, and the temple cults, were a klippah, husk, of the true Holy Temple, though indeed they did serve to open the way for the coming of the Messiah, and the generation of the spiritual Community of Israel, spiritual humanity, not born of the flesh, but rather of water, fire and the Spirit - Shamaim, the heavens. Once the generations of the Second Adam, or Great Seth, appeared in the world, so the klippah of the temple was cast off and shattered, the holy sparks bound up in it being uplifted and redeemed in the Messiah. Now, in each generation until the End-Of-Days, when all is accomplish, the spiritual elect, those receiving the Messiah, labor to build the Holy Sanctuary and manifest the Holy Sanctuary in this world, and the Shekinah of the Messiah, the Holy Spirit, indwells that Sanctuary so that truly is it living, filled with life and light of the World-That-Is-Coming (Olam Ha-Ba).

Listen and hear, and understand! It is written, “From my flesh I shall see God [Elohim],” and when a spiritual human brings down the Holy Light and Spirit from above, and awakens the fiery-intelligence that is in them, they resemble the Human One of Light - the Messiah, and the Shekinah of the Messiah merges with them, merging with their very flesh and their soul. Understand, their flesh, a Holy Sanctuary in this world, on earth in the material dimension, their soul, a Holy Sanctuary in heaven, astral, spiritual and supernal; hence, Anointed Community, the Holy Sanctuary of the Woman of Light on earth and in heaven, uniting earth with heaven, uplifting souls in the Great Ascension.

“Ten journeys,” the ten Holy Sefirot indeed, understanding each to contain all ten, each as though an entire world, universe, within itself - an immeasurable continuum of inner space-time, as it were, emanating from the Infinite One in the eternal realm. The interior Shekinah - Shekinah of the Infinite and Eternal One, descends through the ten Sefirot, ten worlds, universes, enacting countless restrictions and concealments, until “arriving” in this world, in flesh, in a manner of speaking; this is the secret mystery of the Divine Incarnation, God becoming human so that humans might become as God (Elohim).

Concerning the “ten journeys” of the Holy Shekinah, this is the Shekinah of Atik Yomin, the Ancient of Days, and as you may recalled Binah of Atik Yomin is called the “End-Of-Days” in the teachings of the Arizal and other great mekubalim; as was revealed to the prophet Daniel, the soul of the Messiah emanates from Atik Yomin, and therefore the Shekinah of Messiah emanates, descends, from Atik Yomin, through Habad (Hokmah-Binah-Da’at) to Malkut.

All in a great and supreme mystery the emanation, descent, of the Holy Shekinah is the generation of the countless worlds, universes, through which she descends, “journeys”; they are inseparable from her and have no existence apart from her, none whatsoever.

Likewise, in a similar fashion, when neshamot emanate and enter into incarnation, so they also embark on something of these “ten journeys,” descending through countless worlds and realms, engaging in corresponding restrictions and concealments until entering and surrounding a body, the flesh, taking up incarnation; from neshamah emanates ruach and nefesh, nefesh pervading the body, the flesh, the blood, ruach dwelling in the heart and neshamah encircling the head and the body as a whole. When a spiritual person receives the Messiah - Anointing, and brings down the Holy Light and Spirit, and integrates it with all aspects of their soul, and its “garments,” their thoughts, words and actions, and so their very flesh, sparks of their neshamah enter them and incarnate, and if they experience full supernal realization, so the essence of neshamah may be embodied. From one to another initiate in Anointed Community various gradations of the soul become incarnate, embodied, and there are corresponding manifestations of the glory and power of the Holy Shekinah, Holy Spirit, with them, each according to the grade of soul they realize and embody. Needless to say, the greater the realization and embodiment of the soul, the greater the influxes of the Holy Sefirot a spiritual person is able to invoke and receive, and likewise, the greater the manifestation of the Holy Shekinah, Holy Spirit with them.

Listen and hear, and understand! As is known, through our thoughts, words and actions we labor to resemble the Messiah, and we labor to manifest the intention of our neshamah, our heavenly and supernal soul, and the Spirit of God (Ruach Elohim); as we do ruach is joined with nefesh, and the influence of our neshamah enters, and the Holy Shekinah, Holy Spirit, indwells us - through actions, good works, she even cleaves to our flesh, merges with our flesh. As is also known, when we live according to our faith, in righteousness, and we live the Life Divine, engaging in study and contemplation, prayer and meditation, and the worship of the Holy One in spirit and truth, there is an expansion and generation of heavens, new heavens and new angels are created, and the glory and power of the soul in heaven is increased - there is a greater generation of the body of light, astral, spiritual and supernal, and therefore just as on earth a Holy Sanctuary is made, so also a Holy Sanctuary is made in heaven.

We we know in the ascension of Enoch, Moses and Elijah, and yet more so the resurrection and ascension of Yeshua Messiah, the Holy Light and Fire of the Spirit can even transform the substance of matter, flesh, into the image and likeness of itself - pure spirit, pure energy-intelligence, pure light.

Here we may say, the greater the adversity or opposition we encounter in the midst of this work of salvation, the greater the generation of light-power and the glorification of the Holy Shekinah. Thus, as St. James teaches, whatever adversities, tribulations, we encounter we will consider it “nothing but joy,” and we will continue our spiritual labor in the harvest of souls with even greater passion, rejoicing in the presence of the Lord (Yahweh, Yeshua), having our hope in the resurrection and the World-That-Is-Coming.

Concerning the return of neshamot and the Holy Shekinah from exile, contemplate well the Book of Apocalypse, and understand; may the Spirit gift you with wisdom and understanding! In the End-Of-Days there is the dissolution of the former heavens and earth as the new heaven and earth are revealed and realized. Thus, the Sefirot of Asiyah dissolve and reintegrate with those of Yetzirah (seven seals), and the Sefirot of Yetzirah dissolve and reintegrate with those of Beriyah ( seven trumpets), and the Sefirot of Beriyah dissolve and reintegrate with those of Atzilut (seven bowls); so also, the Holy Shekinah ascends in this way, and likewise living spirits and souls that are able, that are willing, and those spirits and souls that are taken up in the Great Ascension in this way experience the fullness and delight of the World-To-Come, reintegration with the Light of the Infinite, radiance of the Supernal Crown, and conscious nearness and unification with the Messiah in the Holy One, the Infinite and Eternal. Praise God!

Until the time when our soul takes flight, departing the body never to return to it, we labor for embodiment, embodiment of the fullness of our soul, embodiment of the Divine Attributes, Divine Actions, and embodiment of the Shekinah of Messiah, the Holy Light and Holy Spirit, and quite literally, we are her dwelling place (Makom), in this world and in the World-That-Is-Coming.

May the Spirit of the Lord (Ruach Yahweh) perfect us in the Way! Amen.

Yoshua Shalom!

Re: The Woman of Light

#12 Postby Anna Marta » Sat Mar 11, 2017 7:54 am

Shalom,

The Woman of Light has been on my heart for some time now. Thank you for the beautiful insights, they have brought much fruit and understanding.
I wanted to comment on a couple of things that drew my attention.

"15 Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. 16 But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus." (Revelation 12)
Water in this passage resonates with the Hebrew letter Mem, representing the collective consciousness. Thus, the dragon is attempting to drown the Woman of Light with the collective ignorance. However, Mother Earth is protecting Her sister, the Woman of Light. She opens up and swallows the water. By doing this Mother Earth is creating the safe haven in which Woman of Light can abide. We can see greater insight if we connect this with the days of creation:

"9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. 10 God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.
11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day."
(Genesis 1)

The waters gathered on the Third Day is what creates the dry land and provides nourishment for all the vegetation to grow. This very vegetation can be considered to be the nourishment promised to the Woman of Light in the sanctuary prepared for Her.
Mother Earth here reminds me of Malkut, the Daughter that receives everything and is the embodiment of all things. Only in Malkut is it possible to swallow the waters of ignorance and transmute them into dry land and vegetation. Malkut can be seen as the great Alchemists Laboratory - everything is a necessary and needed ingredient in order to bring about the magical transformation that creates gold, in this case the sanctuary and nourishment for the Woman of Light.
Therefore, this interaction between the Dragon, Mother Earth and the Woman of Light is not one of hostility, but of radical integration and transmutation in order to bring about an environment, which can produce development.

The passage seems aggressive and scary, because, indeed, there is great danger in this story. Elder Gideon mentioned Noah. Now, during the times of Noah the dragon spewed water, but Mother Earth did not protect life and everything was destroyed. This is because, the preliminary for executing mysteries of Alchemy is the birth of Christ (touching upon that pure virginal awareness, which births inexhaustible compassion and love). During the times of Noah, the Woman of Light was not present, that is, there were not enough people who had experienced the gnosis of their deathless nature. Therefore, the waters of ignorance could deceive them and drown them. However, there is great promise. Once a practitioner has touched that infinite, virginal awareness that births Christ consciousness, the Woman of Light will come to dwell in their hearts and no measure of ignorance will be able to drown them, as the Mother Earth, the matrix of existence, will protect them and transmute all ignorance into nourishment.

Truly, for a bearer of light there is no darkness that is persistent, because everything can be taken up on the way. We can have great faith and courage in life, as the whole of existence is supporting our awakening. Once the Woman of Light dwells within out hearts, we can boldly look into the ignorance of our own lives and transmute it into fuel for enlightenment. For surely the klappa that we still carry is a great source of energy and power, once released it can be put towards the awakening of all living beings.

Any corrections or elaborations would be most appreciated!

During this time of lent, may we be able to see our hindrances as great opportunities of service and development. May all darkness be transformed into light.

(2 Cor 3:17-18) Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

May our lives be transformed into ever-increasing glory! Amen.

Re: The Woman of Light

#13 Postby Elder Gideon » Sun Mar 12, 2017 12:40 am

Shabbat Eve Shalom, Anna:

Go to the flock, and get me two choice kids, so that I may prepare from them savory food for your father, such as he likes; and you shall take it to your father to eat, so that he may bless you before he dies. But Jacob said to his mother Rebekah, ‘Look, my brother Esau is a hairy man, and I am a man of smooth skin. Perhaps my father will feel me, and I shall seem to be mocking him, and bring a curse on myself and not a blessing.’ His mother said to him, ‘Let your curse be on me, my son; only obey my word, and go, get them for me’ (Genesis 27:9-13).

Among your insights sister, "Once the Woman of Light dwells within out hearts, we can boldly look into the ignorance of our own lives and transmute it into fuel for enlightenment," this particular one is very powerful and pragmatic. It immediately triggered a very rich mystery Rebekah, Matriarch of Gevurah, reveals to Jacob in his fear and apprehension of her Divinely-ordained will that he be the successor of the Covenant: Let your curse be on me, my son; only obey my word, and go, get them for me.

I've been haunted by this mystery ever since encountering it. Here is the Matriarch willing to take upon herself—to absorb—the backlash should the seal of this fail. What qualifies her to make this claim goes far beyond her relationship-dynamic with Isaac. She is Matriarch of Gevurah. How does the Shekinah Consort of Isaac understand absorbing, transmuting, and transforming exposure and negativity?

Parallel with your lovely insights of the earth assisting by swallowing the waters spewed at the Woman of Light is a recurring contemplation of my own prayer and contemplation life. For all of the grief I privately feel with news of the state of our oceans, climate, species, and habitats, I also know that earth can bend everything back to a balance. This vision requires the humility that our species might not be here to see it. That's also part of our narrative, that our ignorance—the ignorance—can remove us from the meta-narrative to move on with other biological protagonists. Life forms before us were poised to become what we became. "We" are, as Tau Malachi consistently reminds, "a transitional state of being." The forms Being assumes are not as much the point as the awareness of Being those forms may embody.

The feminine earth is able to do all of this eventually, able to receive and digest what is received into something ultimately vivifying. This entire process is personified by Chava (Eve), Pistis Sophia, all of the Matriarchs, and Holy Women as in Mother or Lady Miriam, and the Woman of Light. How the feminine can transform backlash and resistance into life is literally a mystery we'll neither exhaust nor surround. From deep within my own experiences of the Spirit of Holiness revealing Herself, I know it is. I know She will transform everything that changes into the means of consciously remembering what never changes.

If this is ultimately true for our good earth, with or without us, then the narrative suggests another layer making itself visible through earth. That other layer I'm attempting to describe is The Way itself. It's not about us. We in egotism, self-cherishing, self-importance, are not the point. This is how I contemplate the Matriarch of Gevurah's words Let your curse be on me, my son; only obey my word, and go. This same sefirah is the portal of self-offering, of self-restraint, of discipline, definition, delineation, distinction—Judgment. Yes, Judgment. Consequence. Karma. Education. Epiphany. I'm not the center. Gevurah makes this very clear, as Rabbi Kushner taught: "I'm God; you're not." If I've had to suffer more to integrate this more deeply, then suffering educated me. Job suffers no more when he finally recognizes from within himself that God is God; he is not.

Consider in this light the visionary words of the prophet Isaiah:

For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven,
and do not return there until they have watered the earth,
making it bring forth and sprout,
giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and succeed in the thing for which I sent it
(55:10-11).

So yes, indeed, the earth assists the Woman of Light by integrating what sought to destroy Her. It is surely Daughter remembering Mother.

May all who are willing find purpose in what lies beyond themselves.

Grace and peace to you in Hayyah Yeshua!

These are lovely insights, my heart and soul are stirred by them, and they invoke a running and returning along another angle of contemplation; perhaps sharing the thoughts arising in my heart and mind might add to the discussion, God willing, and with God’s help.

Consider this. The appearance of the Woman of Light and her giving birth corresponds with the First Day of Creation, corresponding with Hesed-Mercy, “let there be light.” The war in the heavens between Michael and his angels and Satan and his angels corresponds with the Second Day of Creation, corresponding with Gevurah-Judgment, the division of firmaments and the day that is not blessed, not called “good,” for according to the Holy Kabbalah evil entered into the Matrix of Creation in that day. The contention between the Woman of Light and the Dragon, the spewing forth of waters, the earth swallowing the waters, and her going to the sanctuary in the wilderness, indeed corresponds with the Third Day of Creation in our Christian Kabbalah, corresponding with Tiferet, the Sefirah of the Messiah. This is the day of the gathering of waters, appearance of dry land, and the generation of seed bearing plants and fruit bearing trees, and this day is blessed twice, being called “good” twice, rectifying, healing the absence of blessing, good, on the Second Day. Concerning the Third Day and the generation of “plants” and “trees,” given that as yet the sun and moon had not been created, the Zohar interprets this as the creation of angels, impermanent and permanent angels, hosts of angels and archangels - Tzavaot Tov.

This play of the generation of Tzavaot, hosts, extends through the Fourth Day and Fifth Day of Creation, corresponding with Netzach and Hod - Yahweh Tzavaot and Elohim Tzavaot, countless hosts in Mercy and Severity. If we look into the Book of Apocalypse there is an entire array of Tzavaot - hosts, good and evil, angelic and demonic, as the End-Of-Days comes to pass and the World-That-Is-Coming is revealed - a new creation, a new heaven and new earth, all founded on the realization of the Holy Light at the outset of creation, the Holy Light and Spirit of the Messiah - the Anointing. The Holy Sanctuary of the Shekinah of Messiah - Anointed Community, however, is transcendent of this great conflict of spiritual forces and, though in this world, in the Messiah and Holy Spirit souls in the Holy Sanctuary are established in the World-To-Come.

Now the Third Day corresponds with the generation of the angels of creation - the Great Cosmic Cycle, the Universe, and as we know the Woman of Light, the Shekinah of Messiah, is called the Queen of Heaven (Shamaim); the heavens are composed of the angels, and therefore she is also called Queen of the Angels - Tzavaot Tov, “Tzavaot the Good.” The wings of the great eagle that gives the Woman of Light, Mother Israel, the power to escape the Dragon and fly to the Holy Sanctuary prepared for her in the wilderness correspond with the power of the upper, interior Shekinah, but also the full power of the angels of heaven, Tzavaot Tov. In this regard, perhaps you may recall a prayer, invocation, of Messiah Yeshua in the Gospel of St. Philip that speaks of our anointing with the Holy Light and Spirit, and asks that the “images of the angels be joined with us too” so that we might be complete; “images,” the knowledge and powers of the angels - Tzavaot Tov. Thus, the Holy Shekinah of the Messiah indwells and surrounds Anointed Community, and the good company of the Holy Shekinah - Tzavaot Shamaim, “hosts of heaven,” is joined with Anointed Community, angels continually attending and ministering to Anointed Community, continually coming and going, and standing guard of the Holy Sanctuary in the wilderness of this world.

This is knowledge and power given to those who receive the Messiah - the Anointing, those who integrate the radiance of the Supernal Crown and allow the Holy Spirit to indwell them and take up their person and life.

As is known, according to the Holy Kabbalah in the process of the creation of this Universe, this Great Cosmic Cycle, countless universes were created and destroyed, their “vessels” being fractured and shattered, sparks becoming bound up in their “shards,” and this corresponds with the spiritual forces of the klippot, evil - Tzavaot Ahara, that enters into the Matrix of Creation on the Second Day. As we also know, in the creation of this Universe there was a fracturing and shattering of “vessels,” and there is a need for tikkune, the rectification, mending, healing of the vessels, or actualization and realization of the Sefirot, Divine Attributes, Divine Actions. We might inquire into the intention of the Holy One allowing evil to enter and arise in the Matrix of Creation. First it needs to be understood that the fracturing and shattering of vessels, and the generation of evil, is a natural byproduct, as it were, of the manifestation of a creation that is distinct from the Infinite and Eternal One, and the possibility of individuation and spiritual realization that comes with it. Likewise, it needs to be understood that whether wittingly or unwittingly, the manifestation of the forces of the Other Side - archonic and demonic forces (Tzavaot Ahara), play an integral role in the fulfillment of Ratzon Elyon in creation, the will of the Supernal One. Joined with this, these forces, and sparks of unredeemed spirits and souls bound up in the ignorance, darkness, and klippot leftover from previous universes, are given the opportunity to be redeemed, reintegrated, in this Universe, this Great Cosmic Cycle.

There is also a secret mystery revealed in the teachings of the “shattering of vessels” in the process of creation, for it implies that creation and destruction are inseparable from one another; there cannot be one without the other in the continuum of ever-becoming or endless change, transformation. If there is to be the creation of a new heaven and new earth, then simultaneous with the the destruction of the former heavens and earth; and if we consider a radical spiritual conversion, a radical transformation in consciousness, it is just the same, there must be a spiritual, mystical death and rebirth, the former consciousness passing away as a new and higher consciousness comes into being. Understand, destruction, creation, is a single simultaneous Divine Action, and this is the very nature of transformation.

There is something more to be said of the klippot, the husks and shards of of impurity, the forces of the Other Side. Though, indeed, souls that are anointed and received in the Holy Sanctuary are transcendent of the great conflict of spiritual forces, hosts, having their salvation in the Messiah - the Anointing, as taught elsewhere it is given that they “contend with Elohim,” and so with Tzavaot, and it is given that they strive to overcome and vanquish klippot they encounter, whether internal or external klippot. There is something to be said of this action, for when klippot are overcome there is a generation of greater light-power, and sparks of the Infinite Light bound up in them are drawn out of them, and are uplifted and redeemed; there is a diminishing of the influence and power of the Other Side and and increasing of the influence and power of the kingdom of heaven in this world, and there is tikkune, mending, healing, of the world of angels, world of souls, and an actualization and realization of something of the World of the Sefirot - Atzilut.

Look and see! When the Holy Child is born and taken up through the heavens into the Supernal Abode a war breaks out in the heavens, the heavens being purified of the forces of the klippot, the Other Side, and those forces of darkness, evil, are cast down upon the earth; hence, there is an influx, increase, of great forces of the klippot on earth, a greater manifestation of the spirit of the Other Side, the Evil Inclination (Satan, Samael). This presents a grand opportunity for those who abide in the Holy Sanctuary, for confronted with greater opposition, a greater force of ignorance, darkness, if they keep the faith and strive to overcome and vanquish the klippot they encounter, so they may generate great light-power and experience a radical evolution of the soul or spiritual realization. It is not we, however, who overcome and vanquish great forces of the klippot, but it it is the Messiah and Holy Spirit that indwells us, and it is the “angel of the Holy Shekinah” that goes before us, joined with Tzavaot Tov, that “delivers our enemies into our hands.”

This dominion or victory over the spiritual forces of the klippot, the Other Side, is in the Risen Messiah, and in the anointing we receive from the Risen and Ascended One - the Holy Light and Spirit that issues from the Supernal Crown (Keter).

Now if we look into the Dragon, and the Great Beast to whom the full power and authority of the Dragon is given, the Dragon is the personification of Satan - the Inclination to Evil, and the Great Beast, having seven heads, each with ten horns and ten diadems, along with blasphemous names (names of great demonic powers), the Great Beast is the personification of the klippot of the seven Sefirot of Construction - impure, adverse, evil, manifestations of the corresponding emanations of the Holy One. The Evil Inclination generates these klippot - attributes, actions, of wickedness and evil, mentalities of wickedness and evil, and these in turn generate the second beast in Revelation, corresponding with the ignorance of collective humanity, “herd consciousness,” which plagues the mixed multitude - bestial, material humankind.

The Dragon and Great Beast, along with the spawn of the Great Beast, the second beast (incarnation of evil, the “anti-christ”), this is the personification of the full array of Tzavaot Ahara, “hosts of the Other Side” - archonic and demonic forces.

In the unenlightened condition, in unenlightened society, these spiritual forces of the klippot, the Other Side, do indeed tend to dominate unenlightened individuals and the collective, and do, indeed, generate a very powerful collective ignorance, darkness, in this world that is not easily overcome and dispelled, save through Divine Grace, the power of the Messiah and Holy Spirit. Through the power of the Messiah - the Anointing, however, living spirits and souls are healed and enlightened, and are redeemed, receiving their salvation, certainly so! Praise the Lord!

These are some thoughts I was inclined to share, thoughts stirred in my heart from the lovely insights the two of your have shared.

May many spirits and souls be received in the Sanctuary of Grace this day, and may the Lord bless and keep them, having gathered them in! Amen.

Yeshua Shalom!

"... a word must be said regarding our own expectations in the face of potentially dark times. Aware of the spiritual realization of Da'at---things manifest as we expect them to----you will understand the danger of large numbers of people holding on to a belief in a fated or predetermined global holocaust. This sort of expectation is rooted in doubt and fear, represents gross negativity, and is a grievous mistake. The horror of the apocalypse comes from our resistance to the dawn of Christ consciousness----our failure to overcome selfishness, greed, and fear through the cultivation of faith, hope, and love. Thus, in the face of potentially dark times, it is a vision of hope that the elect must focus upon, not only for oneself but for the whole of humanity." (pp 80-81, Gnosis of the Cosmic Christ)

Shalom Tau Malachi,
Thank you for bringing all this to awareness and for affirming the power of Divine Grace.
May this Grace carry us into a vision of hope,
Mark

Shalom!

Thank you for these powerful insights. Indeed, we labor not for ourselves, but for the liberation of all! Only by embracing motivation that is greater than ourselves are we able to overcome ourselves and thus uplift everyone on our way. Praise God!

I have approached the Woman of Light in my partzufim practice and this interaction has brought about further contemplation and mystery. I would appreciate any insight on the following contemplation:

I see a parallel between the Woman of Light and Mother Mary. The Woman of Light gives birth to Christ and so does Mother Mary. Once Christ is born the dragon and Herod respectively are enraged and seek out to destroy Christ. In both cases Christ is protected by divine intervention - either He is taken up to the throne of God or brought to Egypt, due to Gabriel`s instruction.

The dragon and Herod are both rulers of worldly kingdoms. When the reign of Christ is announced, both Herod and the dragon are enraged due to fear of impeding end of their position. However, truly, Christ is the King, but His Kingdom is not of this World. Christ never came to take over Herod. Instead, He came to establish a balance between the Earthly Kingdom and the Heavenly Kingdom - for, truly, one is fulfilled and made whole by the other.
This alludes to there being an ego and the boundless soul. Our true boundless essence was never meant to replace our ego, neither can it do so in this embodiment. Instead, ego is a holy vessel for upliftment of sparks, an essential part of Malkut. However, it can only fulfill this sacred mission if it is in communion with the boundless soul. This is at the heart of the paradox given by Mary Magdalene - being is becoming and becoming is being! Permanence and impermanence meet in a beautiful dance, in a loving embrace.
Neither the dragon nor Herod recognise this wonderful opportunity of becoming whole. Instead, they are thrown into state of fear as they recognise their own impermanence. Without being able to redeem and celebrate this impermanence in communion with Christ, they set out to destroy and torture the children. Herod kills all infant boys and the dragon pursues the other children that the Woman of Light gives birth to. But none of this can harm Christ - our boundless soul is like the sky that is not harmed by storms or clouds.
Herod`s reign and the dragon`s reign will inevitably come to an end. So will our ego inevitably come to a conclusion. We have a free decision of whether to align this ego to Christ self or whether the fleeting ego will put up a futile fight against the infinity of Christ.

Furthermore, I was contemplating the relationship between the Woman of Light and the rest of her children, Mary and the children slaughtered by Herod:
Most common interpretation in outer Church regarding the children killed by Herod is that God allowed these children to be killed, because their death protected Christ. And Christ ultimately comes to liberate all souls, thus, in comparison it is a small sacrifice to pay.
However, in Bible we see this passage - "In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not." (Matthew 2:18) This passage is commonly understood to refer to the children killed by Herod. Thus, no degree of explanation regarding the worthy sacrifice of the children can appease Rachel`s weeping.
Similarly, when I think about the dragon tormenting the children of the Woman of Light, I find it hard to imagine that she would be dispassionate towards it.
The Woman of Light is the mother who gives birth to Christ, but also to many other children. She is that primordial space that allows for different manifestation, different states of consciousness to come into being. I wonder, what is the role of the other children birthed by her, their relationship to Her and Christ, what is at the root of Rachel`s weeping?

May we recognise that we are boundlessness appearing as limits! May we celebrate these limitations as they point us towards the infinity within us!

Love and light,
Anna Marta

Re: The Woman of Light

Grace and peace to you in Hayyah Yeshua, the Risen and Ascended Messiah!

In the tradition the Woman of Light is understood as the union of Mother and Daughter, or Holy Mother and Holy Bride, and therefore has a deep connection with Mother Miriam and the Magdalene; she is the Shekinah of the Messiah in the Second Coming, fullness of the Holy Shekinah of the Supernal One (Elyon). This is indicated in her sacred chant: Isha Ha-Elyona, “Woman of Supernal Radiance,” or the “Supernal One,” and Imma Israel, “Mother Israel,” these two indicating the upper, interior Shekinah, and lower, exterior Shekinah, manifest in union, oneness.

When the Holy Bride is united with the Bridegroom, and she conceives and gives birth, she becomes Imma, Mother, and what is born from her heart-womb is the spiritual Community of Israel, Anointed Community; hence, souls enlightened and liberated, reintegrated with the Light of the Infinite, radiance of the Supernal Crown, Supernal One (Eheieh, El Elyon).

Just as the Son is the image of Abba, Father, so the Daughter is the image of Imma, Mother, and therefore seeing the Son we have seen the Father and seeing the Daughter we have seen the Mother; the Father-Mother, Yahweh Elohim.

Now, concerning the Holy Mother, who are her children? Understand, all in a great and supreme mystery, all creatures, all sentient beings, all living spirits and souls, are children of Mother God (Imma Elohim); she is the Mother of All (Imma Kol), the righteous and the wicked, good and evil, of light and of darkness alike - all are her children, and all are held in her heart-womb. In this consider the birth pangs of the Holy Mother as she gives birth, as she labors for the enlightenment and liberation of all, and understand the immeasurable sorrow and suffering of the countless spirits and souls in transmigrations (gilgulim) through countless incarnations as the great pain of her giving birth - she cries out in the pain of labor, she cries out in the great grief and pain all of her children endure as they come into being, awaken and return to God, the True Light. Their sorrow and suffering if her own, but then so also their endless joy in liberation and reunification! Praise Ma!

Understand, she does not just mourn for the righteous ones among her children who are assaulted and slain by the wicked and evil, but you see, the wicked, the evil doers, are also her children, and as any good mother, regardless, she loves them, and their plight in great bondage to the ignorance, the darkness, pains her deeply; the pain of all in their struggle in bondage is her labor pains - the great vision of sorrow and suffering of all who are in bondage and conflict.

Is it that the Supernal One “lets” great evil manifest, or is it that all spirits and souls - all spiritual powers, have free will, and having something of the Infinite Light and Spirit of God (Ruach Elohim) in them they are co-creators with God (El, Elohim)? You see, it’s not that God “lets” innocent children in ancient times, or modern times, be murdered by various powers in the world, and insane and evil leaders in the world, but rather having set creation into motion there is this play of co-creation with God, and all spirits and souls, all spiritual powers, whether conscious or unconscious, are co-weaving the fates and destinies of the worlds of creation, and this world in which we live - they are co-weaving the realities of their experience.

This play of good and evil is simply woven into creation, a natural arising as spirits and souls individuate and come into being; it is, basically speaking, a byproduct of the restriction and concealment of the Infinite Light and Eternal One through which creation comes into being, the illusion of separation, the ignorance that arises, generating good and evil, and the admixture of good and evil, or confusion of good and evil.

In this regard we might consider the pains of human mothers giving birth, the incredible pain of human females giving birth is the result of our very large heads and the intelligence they house, this pain being the natural result of our evolution, an evolution that makes it possible for human beings who seek God to find God, and so return to God; hence, the possibility of enlightenment and liberation, Christ or God Consciousness.

In the midst of the great matrix of creation we must also remember and understand that the pains of labor of the Woman of Light includes all creatures, not just human beings, but in this world, for example, the environmental holocaust we are creating, the driving of creatures into extinction, the suffering of ecosystems and animals - these are her children too! All of this sorrow and suffering the Holy Mother-Bride (Imma-Kallah) holds in her heart, and she has love and compassion for all, the desire for the enlightenment and liberation of all, universal salvation.

There is something to be said of this co-creative, and therefore co-destructive power in us, for not only do we have the power to shift life in this world, or the play of fate and fortune in this world, but so also to bring about shifts in the realms and worlds of inner, metaphysical dimensions, heavens, hells, and various realms in between. This is reflected by the war in heaven that breaks out with the appearance of the Woman of Light and her Holy Child, the Risen and Ascended Messiah.

Now there is an influx of radiance of the Supernal Crown - Supernal Force, with the Holy Mother and Child in the First Coming, but in the Second Coming there is an even greater influx of Supernal Force, and therefore, along with a greater manifestation of the Holy Light, so also a greater manifestation of darkness, the spirit of the Other Side. Just as there are Holy Partzufim, personifications of the Divine, corresponding with the interiors of various Sefirot, various gradations, so also there are personifications of the spirit of the Other Side corresponding with various klippot, various gradations; hence, impure and adverse manifestations of the Sefirot, husks of the Sefirot. King Herod and the Great Dragon are both personifications of the spirit of the Other Side, but they represent different klippot, and very different levels of power, or authority and dominion. King Herod corresponds with the male force of the klippah of Malkut-Kingdom, versus King David, for example, who corresponds with the Sefirah of Malkut. As such King Herod is, indeed, a great force of evil - the Evil Ruler, and not only destroys the firstborn of Bet El (House of God), but also the great prophet, Yohanan the Baptist. The Great Dragon is a far greater manifestation of power, or authority and dominion - the full force and fury of the spirit of the Other Side; hence, the force, power, of the entire array of the klippot, the Tree of Death. This greater manifestation of the Adversary (Samael, Satan) corresponds with the greater influx of the Supernal Force, which manifests in the Realm of Perud (separation) and This World as great light and great darkness in an apparently radical struggle or conflict.

The story of Mother Miriam and her Holy Child in the First Coming and the Woman of Light and her Holy Child are intimately interconnected, and yet the Woman of Light and her Holy Child corresponds with the full influx of the radiance of the Supernal Crown, which brings about the End-Of-Days and realization of the World-That-Is-Coming.

Here we may share an open secret. If the Holy Child of the Woman of Light were not instantly taken up in divine rapture at the moment of birth the End-Of-Days would manifest in heaven and on earth right then and there. If we inquire why wait, why the continuation of great tribulation and anguish? It is simple. It is, in fact, the mercy and compassion of the Supernal One (El Elyon), the Eternal God (Yahweh Elohim), allowing time for the repentance of souls, the awakening and realization of souls and their return to God, the True Light. The time following, because of a striving against an incredibly great opposition, the Great Dragon and so on, creates the possibility of a very rapid progress in the realization of souls, the possibility of a swift enlightenment and liberation - Thunderbolt Enlightenment. This is not to say that such a movement in the midst of a great Dark Age (Kali Olam) is easy, it certainly is not; but, the greater the opposition, the greater the generation of light-power of merit for those who strive against it, and the greater the leaps of evolution and realization on a spiritual level. Praise God!

Here we can also share something concerning the slaying of the firstborn, assuming the story was actual and literally happened. There is no doubt that from the perspective of the earth such an event would be a horrific and unspeakable tragedy, but with regards to those soul, from the perspective of heaven, what might have transpired within and behind such a movement? As an example, what if those soul incarnated only for that brief time, and completing their purpose, this movement, they were taken into the supernal kingdom of heaven and experienced full reintegration with the Infinite Light and Messiah in the Eternal One? So often mortal theology thinks only from an earthly, mortal perspective, and does not glean the vision and perspective of Heaven and God. The truth is, things in this world are not as they appear, and the play of apparent Mercy and Judgment is not as separate as it seems in the unenlightened condition, not in the least.

Concerning the ego, self, with King David I shall say, “As for me, I will serve the Eternal One (Yahweh).”

Consider this. If you go looking for the ego, self (ani), you will find no ego, no self (ain); thus Self Is. Likewise, if you go looking for God (Ani), you will find No God (Ain); thus God Is.

The ego, the self, is empty of any independent and substantial self-existence apart from all that exists, the universal, and the source and foundation of all, and the ego, the self, in itself is no problem, it is not the cause of our bondage, and our sorrow and suffering, but rather it is our ignorance concerning the the Ain Nature of the ego, self, the no-thingness, emptiness, voidness, of the ego, the self. The problem isn’t the ego, self, but rather it is ego-grasping, self-grasping, and the play of desire and fear, attachment and aversion, in this self-cherishing, this ignorance.

Something similar may be said of the desire to receive, which corresponds with the evil inclination (sitra ahara). In itself there is no problem with the desire to receive, for by nature it serves to fulfill the desire to give, and in the play of receiving and giving there is, in truth, one desire, and it is good and holy. In self-cherishing, however, manifest as the desire to receive for self alone, and at the expense of others, divorced from the desire to give, the good inclination (sitra tov), the desire to receive is the impulse to evil, corresponding with the spirit of the Other Side, and it causes great sorrow and suffering, sin and death - our bondage.

There is no cutting off and getting rid of the desire to receive, but rather the desire to receive must be brought into submission and service to the desire to give - these two manifestations of desire need to be aligned, harmonized and united. Likewise, there is no stopping or cutting off the perpetual play of ego-generation, self-generation in mind, consciousness or soul, but rather the true nature of the ego, self, must be recognized and realized, and the ego, self, must be brought into submission and service to our inner and divine being, and Heaven and God; hence, it must become the vehicle of the interior aspects of our soul, and the Messiah and Holy Spirit.

The very nature of nearness and unification with the Infinite Light and Eternal One, however, is an experience of self-nullification, self-negation, but this corresponds with the realization of the Ain Nature in a state of pure radiant awareness, or the Perfect Thunder Intelligence; in the experience of such self-nullification it is very different then it sounds to our intellect, in the experience it is the awareness there there is only the Holy One, and the Holy One alone - there is no ‘other.’ This, exactly, was the spiritual and supernal realization embodied in Messiah Yeshua, and in the Magdalene, the Holy Bride.

These were a few thoughts that were stirred by the contemplation you share, a few thoughts that Spirit inclined me to write. This seems to be enough for the moment.

May the Habad of the Virgin of light be gifted to you, and may you remember your origin in the Pleroma of Light! Amen.

Imma Shalom!
