Strong Adam

#1 Postby Elder Gideon » Sat Aug 11, 2018 11:00 pm

Shabbat Eve Shalom, Tau Malachi:

Hear, O Israel: The LORD is our God, the LORD alone. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might (Deuteronomy 6:4-5).

Something hidden in plain sight to me recently surfaced: "With all your might" is the very same word that Elohim pronounces over all that Elohim had made on the Sixth Day:

Elohim saw everything that he had made, and indeed, it was very good (Genesis 1:31).

"Very Good": טֹוב מְאֹד : Tov m'ode.

Returning to the Shema, "with all your might," is:

וּבְכָל־מְאֹדֶֽךָ: oobkh'ol m'odEKHA.

That the meaning of "very" is the same as "strength" or Might" (Strongs H3966), opens up something I'd never seen: The same letters for מְאֹד are the same for Adam אָדָם. This opens up contemplations I've never considered. Where shall one begin?

Blessings to you in the Holy Light of the Messiah!

To begin we must consider the obvious. Adam, the Human One, was created in the image and likeness of Elohim, God and the heavens, and the soul within the Human One is the Breath of Yahweh Elohim, and emanation of the Essence and Spirit of God, and as we know, God gave to the Human One the knowledge and power of the Names of God, including the Essential Name and Great Name; with the Essence and Spirit of God the soul of the Human One was woven of the spiritual power of these Names, these Attributes of God. Through the Breath of God the Human One has a fiery intelligence, a powerful imagination and an incredible power of speaking, and having the knowledge and power of the Names of God, so there is great creative and destructive power in the Human One - Adam.

Strong Adam, or Mighty Adam, alludes to this, and understanding this loving God ‘with all your might’ assumes deep meaning.

There is a secret, though, that must be understood, an open secret among gnostic initiates. God Most High, El Elyon, created the Human Being so that God might be known, and so that God might have a special place to dwell in creation, and as you know, masters of the tradition have said that there is no place or creature in creation that can hold the fullness of the Divine Presence, Holy Shekinah, Holy Spirit, save the pure heart of a human being.

The human soul being an emanation of the Breath of God, or ‘Soul of God,’ is inseparable from God; the inmost aspect of the soul is the manifestation of the One Soul and Yahweh Elohim, and when a human being cultivates the full image and likeness of God in themselves, and they abide in oneness with God, being a ‘true and perfect human,’ so the entirety of their soul from inmost to outermost is realized in the Oneness of God. Such a human being would truly be strong, or mighty, with God’s Strength and Might, the power of El Shaddai.

This we bear witness to in Yeshua Messiah, and it is alluded to with the Name of God used in the Book of Apocalypse, indicating the glorification of God Most High in the Messiah, the Perfect Human One: Yahweh Elohim Shaddai, ‘Lord God, the Almighty.’

In the Messiah we can say ‘Strong Adam’ or ‘Mighty Adam’ is realized through the Supernal Grace of the Most High.

In closing we may say that loving God with all your might is striving for this Self-realization, understanding that this was the original intention, the original desire, of God Most High in creating you - to love and know God.

Here is a beginning of contemplation.

May God bring this Self-realization to fruition in us, uplifting us from grade to grade, station to station, until we understand with True Understanding! Amen.

Yeshua Shalom!
