Mystery of Yahweh pronounced as Elohim

Mystery of Yahweh pronounced as Elohim

“Know today and take to heart that Yahweh is Elohim” (Deuteronomy 4:39).

The Name of Yahweh corresponds with Mercy and the Name of Elohim corresponds with Judgment, and as we know the Name of God corresponding with Binah-Understanding is ‘Yahweh pronounced as Elohim.’ On one level, corresponding with a secret mystery, at times this is understood to mean the Name of Yahweh pronounced with the vowel sounds of the Name of Elohim indicating those times in which wickedness and evil prevail in the world and humankind turns mercy and compassion into judgment; hence the secret mystery of how human beings are co-creators with the Holy One and how through our own thoughts, words and actions we determine the reality of our experience, whether a manifestation of mercy, judgement or compassion, or peaceful, wrathful or blissful. On another level, however, this correspondence is understood very directly, literally, to be Yahweh pronounced as Elohim, Binah being the Name Yahweh inwardly but outwardly manifesting as Elohim - in the Infinite and Eternal One Binah is Yahweh, but in creation Binah is Elohim and so is called Elohim. This points to another secret mystery, and it is this secret mystery the Holy Spirit inclines me to share with you today, and with God’s help perhaps we may acquire new insight and bring forth an influx, a blessing, from the Supernals. Amen.

First, understand that Yahweh - the Eternal One - is manifest and revealed in creation through Elohim - through judgment, restriction - and it can be no other way; hence the seven Sefirot of Construction which corresponds with the progressive restriction, veiling, of the Infinite Light, and Ain Sof - the Infinite One - interacting with creatures and creation through the Holy Sefirot, Divine Attributes - the Names of God and Holy Partzufim (personifications of God). The entire array of the Holy Sefirot arises from the power of Yahweh, but then the actual arising, and the way of the arising, corresponds with the power of Elohim, therefore Binah being Yahweh pronounced as Elohim.

In reality Yahweh is never manifest directly in creation and this world but manifests through Elohim and as Elohim; the direct revelation and manifestation of Yahweh corresponds with the World-To-Come, and as we know this is among the ‘titles’ given to Binah. So, Elohim corresponding to the Interior Shekinah being revealed and manifest in This World and Yahweh corresponding to the Interior Shekinah being revealed and manifest in the World-To-Come.

There is, of course, another secret mystery associated with this mystery, for Binah as Yahweh pronounced as Elohim also indicates Binah-Imma as the ‘Head of the Pillar of Severity,’ the Sefirot of that Holy Pillar emanating in a ‘line’ from Binah. Thus, Binah, Yahweh pronounced as Elohim, then Gevurah-Severity as Elohim proper - completely Elohim, Judgment, and finally Hod-Glory at the base of the Holy Pillar as Elohim Tzavaot, angels and heavens manifest in severity, judgment. That the Head of the Pillar of Severity is Yahweh pronounced as Elohim indicates the intention of severity or judgment is in truth mercy and compassion - the ultimate intention of El Elyon - God Most High - in all Divine Actions is mercy, compassion, forgiveness.

First let us understand that there could be no revelation of the Infinite and Eternal One, and so know knowledge of the Infinite and Eternal One, without restriction, limitation, measuring, for otherwise finite creatures would be completely overwhelmed. Likewise, so also the Light of the Infinite, save through restriction, limitation, measuring, veiling, more or less, influxes of that Holy Light would be completely overwhelming to creation and creation would cease to exist. As we know and understand, the very first action of creation was, and is, the restriction, veiling, of the Infinite Light, followed by the generation, emanation, of restricted, veiled, gradations of that Primordial and Supernal Light - the Holy Sefirot of Atzilut. All of this is the Divine Action of Elohim, and apart from it the Holy Sefirot would not come into being, nor the great continuum and matrix of creation that arises with, in and through the Holy Sefirot - the Names of God.

In the Divine Action of creation, though, there is also another secret mystery of Judgment as the manifestation of Mercy, or Elohim as the manifestation of Yahweh. As we know, with the tzimtzum - the restriction of the Infinite Light - an illusion of separation comes into being that allows for the individuation and realization of living spirits and souls, but with it so too darkness comes into being, and the interplay of light and darkness, good and evil. With regards to the play of severity, judgement, in creation is the manifestation of mercy for it restricts, limits the darkness, evil, ensuring that there is an end to evil, that ultimately it does not overcome God’s creation; hence, Binah, Yahweh pronounced as Elohim, also being called ‘End-Of-Days,’ as well as ‘World-To-Come.’

Now, all in a great mystery it is also true that Tiferet-Beauty corresponds with Yahweh - the Sefirah of the Messiah - and that at times Elohim corresponds with Malkut-Kingdom - Exterior Shekinah; so this secret mystery of Yahweh pronounced as Elohim, Yahweh manifesting as Elohim, plays out and is actualized through the Six and Malkut, and there is no doubt more that might be said of the secret mystery of the interaction of Tiferet and Malkut, especially with knowledge of the Holy Gospel, the revelation of the Messiah.

Here it may be said that in the manifestation of Judgment there is always Mercy and in the manifestation of Mercy there is always Judgment - everything transpires in Rehamim-Compassion (Tiferet). It can be no other way.

This seems a good beginning to the contemplation of the secret mystery of Yahweh pronounced as Elohim and seems enough for the moment. I shall return to a contemplation of Yahweh Elohim in silent love, waiting upon the Holy Spirit.

Receiving Yahweh as Elohim may many be blessed this day, the ‘face of Yahweh’ shining upon them and blessing them! Amen.

Shalom Aleichem!

Grace and peace to you from Yahweh Elohim, Shaddai, and Yeshua Messiah!

As we know, Binah-Imma holds all supernal non-manifest entities and forms of creation - the supernal potential of all that was, is and ever shall be in this universe. Likewise, Binah holds the ‘remembrance’ of the evolution and realization of all that has come into being and become manifest; hence, the enlightenment of living spirits and souls, and their reintegration with the Infinite Light. Thus in Binah, in ‘Yahweh pronounced as Elohim,’ there is this infinite supernal potential, possibilities, as well as the fruits of what becomes actualized and embodied; and we may say that in Yahweh pronounced as Elohim is the power of the Supernal One through which potentials, possibilities, are realized; hence this Name of God being associated with Imma - ‘Mother’ - through which there is the play of ‘conception, gestation and birth’ - the realization of life, or coming into being.

As has been said this power to actualize and realize supernal potentials, possibilities, is manifest as Tiferet - the Six - and Malkut; Yahweh corresponding with Tiferet and Elohim corresponding with Malkut. Indeed, though Malkut is often called Adonai - Lord - because Malkut is ruled by Gevurah - or the Pillar of Severity - Malkut is also called Elohim. Thus, the concealed interaction of Yahweh and Elohim in Binah is revealed through the Tiferet and Malkut, and we may say that Tiferet - the Six - is what is revealed of Yahweh through Malkut as Elohim.

There is something of a secret mystery of Yahweh and Elohim that it is given for me to share. As is known, Yahweh is the All-Inclusive Name of the Holy One, and is the Explicit Name of the Holy One - Yahweh contains all the Names of the Holy One. In a similar way Elohim corresponds with the actual power and manifestation of any and all Names of the Holy One. Elohim, though, as well as all of the rest of the Divine Names, is not the Explicit Name, and with regards to the Name of Elohim, as we know, it is a Name of God that at times in the Holy Scriptures indicates spiritual forces that are not the One God, but that are divine beings - angels and godly souls - as well as archons and demonic forces. This corresponds with the very nature of Elohim as the Holy One involved with the entirety of creation, within and manifest as the entire continuum and matrix of creation. As perhaps you might intuit the Name Elohim given to Malkut indicates this deep mystery of this Name of the Holy One, and it also alludes to another open secret: Malkut may be manifest as any or all of the Names of God - even as Eheieh or Yahweh, but then do understand that it would be ‘Yahweh pronounced as Elohim’ when Malkut manifests as Yahweh - the exterior and interior Shekinah being manifest in union.

The manifestation of Malkut, Shekinah, as various Names of the Holy One, assuming the manifestation of corresponding Sefirot - Divine Attributes, Divine Actions - depends upon the choices of human beings, their thoughts, words and actions, and more so on faithful and spiritual people who turn to God, returning to be One, and their invocations and prayers, and their worship, and their enacting what is good and true, living according to the Truth and Light revealed. If and when there are righteous ones, holy ones, who invoke and embody the fullness of the Divine Presence, Holy Shekinah, Holy Spirit, then Malkut may be manifest as Eheieh or Yahweh - ‘Yahweh pronounced as Elohim.’ This, of course, is the manifestation of the spiritual power of all of the Names of the Holy One, and is the reception of direct supernal influx with, in and through those holy and enlightened ones - Anointed Community.

As is known, however, if and when humankind turns away from God and enacts wickedness, evil, the manifestation of Malkut may be as Strict Judgment and become the manifestation of the spiritual forces of the Other Side; hence, ‘elohim’ at times indicating ‘strange gods’ or impure and dark forces - ‘spiritual forces of evil established in celestial places.’ In the Holy Kabbalah this state of the Shekinah is called ‘Elohim divorced from Yahweh.’

Now we have said that Yahweh is always revealed and manifest with, in and through Elohim, and this is true; but understand if and when Elohim is completely unified with Yahweh, ‘resembling’ Yahweh, then in effect Elohim is Yahweh - the ultimate manifestation of ‘Yahweh pronounced as Elohim’ in creation, in this world. This corresponds with the coming of the Messiah and the embodiment of the fullness of the Holy Shekinah, Holy Spirit, in Yeshua Messiah - the two aspects of the Holy Spirit, Ruach Yahweh and Ruach Elohim, being embodied, incarnate in him.

As we know in the process of emanation of the Sefirot from within one another, and the issuance of influxes through them, there is a reaching and not reaching of the Sefirot until ‘full reaching,’ and this transpires from Keter to Malkut. The ‘reaching’ of Malkut, however, could not be complete until the the appearance of the Messiah in the world - the Perfect Human Being realizing and embodying all of the Divine Attributes, the spiritual power of all of the Names of the Holy One, and therefore the fullness of the Holy Shekinah, upper and lower, or interior and exterior. According to our Christian Kabbalah, this was the manifestation of Malkut as Elohim - Yahweh pronounced as Elohim, and through the person of Yeshua Elohim was manifest as Yahweh, conscious union with Yahweh, the Eternal One, being realized in him. Hence the Blessed Name given to the Messiah - Yeshua, Yoshua - which is the Great Name with the addition of the letter Shin, meaning ‘Yahweh delivers.’

The embodiment of the Soul of the Messiah - the One Soul - of course is the complete and perfect union of Tiferet and Malkut and through this Binah and Malkut - Imma and Kallah - are unified, the Bride becoming Mother, and likewise there is a complete union of Hokmah and Binah - Abba and Imma - and the full influx of the Supernals. This process of supernal realization is ongoing with us so that as we reach into the higher, inner stations of the soul, realizing the full array of Divine Attributes, and we invoke and pray, and live the Divine Life - generating Anointed Community, so we receive and hold this influx of the Supernals - the power of Eheieh and Yahweh. This is indicated by the Name of the Holy One used in the Book of Revelation - Yahweh Elohim, Shaddai.

Understand, when the Holy Kabbalah speaks of the labor of unifying Yahweh and Elohim it may indicated an union of Hesed and Gevurah, but in numerous teachings this indicates the union of Tiferet and Malkut, and more so it is the manifestation of Elohim as Yahweh.

There is more to be said of this secret mystery, there is a secret mystery of another Name of the Holy One that is integral to it, but this seems enough for the moment; when the Holy Spirit moves me I shall share the teaching of the Kabbalah of the Essential Name within and behind Yahweh pronounced as Elohim.

May the Holy Shekinah be manifest in full glory and power this day and may many souls be blessed with her good company - the companionship of the lights and angels of heaven! Amen.

Yahweh Shalom!

Re: Mystery of Yahweh pronounced as Elohim

Blessings to you in the Holy Light and Spirit of the Messiah!

It is well known that the Great Name of the Holy One emanates from the Essential Name, the last two letters of Eheieh being Yah, and extending into Yahweh. As such, the secret mystery of Yahweh pronounced as Elohim has its root in Eheieh, and specifically Eheieh Asher Eheieh. If understood Eheieh Asher Eheieh is a direct parallel to Yahweh pronounced as Elohim. With the help and blessing of the Holy Spirit perhaps I may communicate something of this secret mystery to you and we might acquire deeper insight into the Essential Name of the Holy One in correspondence with Yahweh pronounced as Elohim.

As we know Eheieh Asher Eheieh corresponds with Keter on the Tree of Life and it is the Name of God spoken to the Prophet Moses at the burning bush when he was anointed as a prophet and sent upon his mission. There is something to take note of in the Holy Torah, however, something called out in the Zohar, for although the Name Eheieh Asher Eheieh is spoken to Moses he is only told to tell the elders of Israel that ‘Eheieh has sent him,’ thus not to mention Asher Eheieh. This in the Zohar and Holy Kabbalah is understood to be very significant, and points to a secret mystery associated with Binah corresponding with Yahweh pronounced as Elohim.

Listen and hear, and understand! The first Eheieh corresponds to all supernal potential and possibilities in their essence, all in an unfathomable singularity, such that they are all in a state of Ain, No-Thingness. Asher Eheieh is then understood as a shift from this state of essences in Ain into radiance, force, and images, forms, through Hokmah into Binah, a movement of bringing essences into being, though as non-manifest supernal entities and forms - potentials, possibilities, to be actualized and realized as we have established previously in our contemplation. In this, perhaps, you may understand that Eheieh runs parallel to Yahweh and Asher Eheieh runs parallel to Elohim, Asher Eheieh being the revelation of Eheieh as Elohim is the revelation of Yahweh. Here we may say that as Elohim reveals Yahweh, and specifically when Elohim is manifest as Yahweh, Eheieh is revealed through Asher Eheieh.

Understand that at the outset, before the revelation, realization, of Yahweh in the deliverance of the children of Israel from Egypt through awesome and wonderful Divine Actions and the giving of the Holy Torah at Sinai, Moses was only to speak the Name of Eheieh, not Asher Eheieh, for the revelation, realization, intended by the Holy One had not transpired as yet - Asher Eheieh had not been made manifest among the people. There was only Eheieh, Concealed of the Concealed, in the state of Ain - the Essence and Being of the Holy One known only to the Holy One; through the deliverance and exodus from Egypt, and through the giving of the Holy Torah, Eheieh was revealed - supernal essences actualized and realized - and therefore Asher Eheieh came into effect, as it were, and the full Name Eheieh Asher Eheieh could be spoken, as well as the Great Name of Yahweh, then the Name of Eheieh and Yahweh could be given to the people.

This very action, of course, transpired with, in and through Yahweh pronounced as Elohim, and if you understand, Yahweh pronounced as Elohim is a direct manifestation, realization, of the power of Eheieh Asher Eheieh.

Now as we know Yahweh pronounced as Elohim holds the remembrance of all that comes into being, all that is realized and embodied. Eheieh Asher Eheieh corresponds with all living spirits and souls that are enlightened and liberated - taken up in the Great Exodus, Great Ascension - and that are fully reintegrated with the Light of the Infinite One - those to whom the Holy One reveals the ‘secret or secrets,’ the Essence and Being of the Holy One (Eheieh).

If you understand you will know that this is the revelation of the Divine Self, Divine I Am, of a spirit or soul, and so its very own Essence and Being - and it corresponds with the realization of the Absolute Oneness of El Elyon, God Most High.

When this supernal realization flashes forth in a living spirit or soul, in that very instant Elohim is manifest as Yahweh, and Eheieh as Asher Eheieh; and therefore as Malkut may be called Yahweh, so also Eheieh. This was certainly true in the appearance of Yeshua Messiah in this world, and specifically in the revelation, realization, of the Risen and Ascended Messiah. Hallelu Yah! Praise the Lord!

For those of you who may be able, those inclined to it by the Holy Spirit, contemplate this well, and understand!

May the Divine Presence, Holy Shekinah, Holy Spirit, gift you with understand and reveal to you those inmost secrets that only the Holy One can reveal! Amen.

Eheieh Shalom!
